I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn Envy.

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 Shock. For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

I really need to read what my fat fingers have typed before I post!

EmilyD2012 · 10/06/2012 20:49

Dairy you're having a mare with the typos tonight, loving it!!

Poor you used, I think you should ask for the sweep early like you say, it's such a horrible pain and the sooner you can sort it the better.

Yay, Kveta! You have your house back! You must be so relieved :)

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 20:51

I never thought I'd say this but I think I prefer being induced to this long drawn out stop start business. I'm getting bored nowHmm

Kveta · 10/06/2012 21:20

my parents are here now...

but staying in a local hotel, as they wanted our bed if they were going to stay here overnight, and for some reason I said 'hell no'

they just left, and DH is wondering if he can spend the rest of the week in hiding from them :o ah, married life, the in-laws make it so so special don't they?! :o

I'm going to be on the phone to the hospital at 9am to book my induction on tuesday, it's all getting nearer and nearer! maybe at some point this millennium I will get to meet my baby!!

good luck tonight dairy will be checking fb for updates through the night, you have to keep us informed :o

BlueAndRedMakePurple · 10/06/2012 21:39

Baby boy blue arrived at 5.48pm. He weighed 9lb 10 and was back to back so despite being my 4th child was a very difficult labour. I'm starting to feel a bit more human now and he's just beautiful Grin Grin

Kveta Shock your parents wanted you to give up your bed knowing you'd either be heavily pregnant or with a newborn. No wonder you said no!!

McKayz · 10/06/2012 21:40

Oh X-post Blue. Congratulations!!

StarlightMaJesty · 10/06/2012 21:41

If I remember correctly, Kvetas parents are a bit nuts!?

StarlightMaJesty · 10/06/2012 21:41

Sorry if I got it wrong though Blush

StarlightMaJesty · 10/06/2012 21:42

Ooooh, congratulations Blue!

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 21:48

Wow Blue!! Massive congratulations!Grin Sympathies re the back to back labour, glad you're feeling a bit better nowSmile

JBurge · 10/06/2012 21:54

Just catching up on today's posts and I can't stop laughing about snogging clary sage! It's really cheered me up after I've been sobbing all evening because my SPD is really bad today and I can't move without bursting into tears.
It's my own fault, decided to go for a walk yesterday, now I'm paying for it!!
Massive congrats blue how exciting!!

used2bthin · 10/06/2012 22:18

congratulations blue! Hope you are recovering well, sounds like its been a tough couple of days of it. Wow at least we know there are really babies coming!

Thanks for the tooth sympathy, finally feeling a bit less in pain despite out of hours dr refusing to prescribe the higher strength co codamol-she told me to go and buy it but you can't get it over the counter! Will ring mw tomorrow and beg for a sweep.

Kveta more visitors! Am not surprised you are not keen to give up your bed!!!

jburge snap-last week I did the same, and felt really rough for it the next day, poor you.

EmilyD2012 · 10/06/2012 22:30

Well done blue- huge congratulations!!

DairyNips · 11/06/2012 00:28

JBurge glad my typo cheered you upGrin

used2bthin · 11/06/2012 04:24

how's it going dairynips? I've just woken with the tooth but its not as bad as it was. Mild (through codiene)period pains but not likevthe other night. Am back to being too tired for all of this though which reminds me i havent been taking my iron!

DairyNips · 11/06/2012 04:41

Hey usedto glad your tooth isn't quite as bad. I got a bit of sleep then was woken at 3 by a contraction. Getting quite strong ones but still only every 8-10 minsConfused Had the squits a whole ago too.. LovelyHmm Woke dh and requested tea and biscuits as I felt really thirsty and hungry.

used2bthin · 11/06/2012 04:45

ooh really promising dairynips! I am still getting pain but not contractions so it may just be the anti biotics upsetting my stomach.

Are you having a hospital birth? When will you go in? Exciting!

DairyNips · 11/06/2012 04:56

I have to travel an hour to get to the hospital I am giving birth at Shock so keep worrying about not making it on time! Think it's too early yet though, my contractions are quite strong but I'd like them to be more like 6 mins apart before I ring.

Sorry the antibiotics are upsetting your stomach, last thing you need.

EmilyD2012 · 11/06/2012 07:16

Glad the pain's a bit more manageable used - are you still going for a sweep today?

Dairy I'm excited for you, sounds like things are very nearly where you want them to be! Keep us posted if you can.

How're things this morning Kveta? Hope you're enjoying having your space back.

I'm beginning to think this baby is never coming. Sweep is at 9 tomorrow and can't come soon enough. Absolutely zero signs that labour is imminent here

DairyNips · 11/06/2012 07:58

Thanks Emily, contractions har just about bogged off again since about 5.50am
so dh off to work for now whilst I watch the boys. Fed upSad

Kveta · 11/06/2012 08:35

nothing happening here, but just spoke to hospital, and I've to call them back at 2 and they will try and start the induction process today!!! Not getting my hopes up too much, as they may not have space, but oh my god, things might actually start today!!! As I have been throwing up before and after breakfast, and during the night, for 3 days now, I am SO ready to be rid of this baby...

EmilyD2012 · 11/06/2012 08:51

Aw dairy I'm sorry, how frustrating :( DP said this morning that every time he walks into the office everyone looks surprised that he's still there. He worked later on Friday on basis that he probably wouldn't be going in today - disheartening isn't the word!!

EmilyD2012 · 11/06/2012 08:52

Yay Kveta! About flipping time too! I'm keeping everything crossed for you now! Baby could be here very soon, eek!!

RachelWalsh · 11/06/2012 09:20

Hello all,

Congratulations blue wonderful news - worth the hard work Smile

Oh dairy how bloody frustrating! I hope things get proper going again soon.

emily I am meeting friends for coffee and I just know I will get "oh are you still here?" and I'm not even due till Friday. Is so dull now.

usedtobe tooth thing sounds crappy, hope it feels better or you at least have labour to distract you from it!

kveta no way I'd be giving up my bed either - bloody hell!!!!

jburge hope your spd pain has eased up.

I am feeling really crap tbh. Not in a physical labour-y way just very emotional and anxious. Woke up just worrying about everything through the night, my dad died a couple of weeks ago and that along with the car crash plus being this pregnant is all adding up to make me a bit of an emotional wreck. I just feel a bit like I can't rely on anything/ anyone, everything is uncertain and all the responsibility is on me - pre- baby jitters I think plus just been/is a very emotional time. I'm feeling really scared that something will happen to baby, I think is just a response to recent trauma along with natural worries at this stage but it's still horrid. I just want baby here and the birth out the way safely.

Birthy wishes to all.
