I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn .

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 . For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

How you holding up Lucie McKayz and Kveta? I'm in the same boat, not a squeak here. I could actually forget I was pregnant if it wasn't for my size, grrr. Glad you slept ok rrrayray, although sorry there's still no movement your end either. :(

Am in same boat of no symptoms or "twinges".

About to ring out of hours again about my abcess it is the most awful pain! Even with co codamol it is pretty bad and the last two hours as it wears off it is unbearable, been crying lots today with it. Not sure what else they can give me but something needs to happen.

Damn! Contractions just about stopped around 3.30, went for a nap and had one or two in between sleeping. Just got up again, sniffed some clary sage and had a small one. Come back contractions!

oh dairy how depressing if they stop again really hope not! The exact same thing happened with me falling asleep but when I was i labour with dd it started then stopped for just a few hours while I slept then restarted as soon as I woke up so fingers crossed for you that your body just took a quick break.

Oh I hope so.. I just felt really tired all of a sudden then they stopped so maybe my body just wanted to recharge. Back on my ball drinking raspberry lewd tea now.

Congrats MrsShears! Really pleased or you :-) Enjoy our beautiful baby. still nothing here.. But on my walk was getting really bad shooting pains again. They had disappeared for a fewvdays so I guess it's good they've come back. What is clary sage? A herb I presume. What's the theory with that one? Haven't heard of it.
Anyone tried reflexology? Might find someone to do it tomorrow.. Really am getting desperate now. Lol

Clary sage is an essential oil, supposed to bring on contractions. It's apparently good during labour to breathe in, has pain relieving qualities and supposedly makes you feel kinda drunk like gas n air.

Some people say it has no effect. I had a bath with some in last night and had contractions from 8.30 this morning. I snogged it just before and had a small contraction. Not sure if it's the Clary sage doing that or just coincidence

I have been vile to DH,really laying into him. Although he ddid just try to talk to me about savings and so I think I was justified given thhat I have a tooth abcess and am nearly three days overdue, today is not the time!

Btw he is brave because he actually said oh its never the time! men!

hi Emily, abcess may be improving thank you. An hour ago I was crying in pain and that was just an hour and half after my last cocodamol dose. And it seems a little bit less painful not much but enough that I can function so I really hope the anti biotics have started working. Still waiting for the doctor to call which is annoying as I'm going to ask for something else and don't want to get too close to this last dose wearing off without more pain releif in site. Feeling pretty desperate at the catch 22 situation of feeling guilty at all the pain relief to the baby but not being able to cope with the pain. Also worried about labour with this pain too but otoh can't wait so I can get it sorted.

Wondering if it eases enough tomorrow whether I should ring and beg for a sweep early (if they really want to call 40+3 early) on the grounds that I need to get this baby out to get the tooth sorted and don't want to keep on with the codeine for long.

Am with you on the no twinges, sigh!

Usedto Tooth pain is the worst pain in the world I think. It is horrible.

Nothing here. Keep getting backache and wondering if that is the start of something but nope nothing. So I am sat bouncing on the ball.

I was getting some white strong ones at 7 min intervals but then I needed a number 2 and they've calmed down again

Oh for the love of god.. quite strong ones!!
