I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn Envy.

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 Shock. For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

Dairy has been sighted on fb recently, no baby yet so far as I can tell :o

the peace was lovely today. FIL leaving tomorrow morning, so he and DH are doing some last minute bonding by watching the football in silence.

got to call MW tomorrow to get her round to attempt sweep #2, can't believe I am going to call someone to come to my house and stick their hand up my fanjo Hmm Blush pregnancy makes us do odd stuff sometimes.

hope some twinges develop into babies overnight!!

used2bthin · 09/06/2012 21:27

Hi wedding was good thanks, there was a bouncy castle and I should probably have got on it! No more contractions, no nothing, nit even a show. And my tooth abcess has started playing up so I need anti biotics again, have had to take painkillers tonight inc one co codamol so I will want to sleep at least.

Blueandred how frustrating! Hope you don't have too long a wait.

A few of us have had a realistic false starts then, it is so depressing. My friend was saying today about relaxing, I've tried to keep busy every day and maybe I need to just stop for something to happen. Although am sure it doesn't work like that just desperate not to go too far over. Feel like I have gone backwards too.

Lucietea I am impressed with your daily routine! Sex last night did seem to make contractions stronger but obviously didn't do enough as they stopped. Walk tomorrow.

used2bthin · 09/06/2012 21:30

I'dratherbe, I had a similar dilemma yesteray with not knowing whether to ask GPs to have DD overnight in case it was a false alarm-it was and I wished I had because I was then up at six with dd having wet the bed. Also when I thought we were about to need to go to hospital I just wanted to be able to go and was a bit panicked by the whole needing to wake my parents up in the middle of the night and get them over thing-so I'd say go for it.

DairyNips · 09/06/2012 23:55

Hey all, just checking in. Not had time to catch up yet but I see my absence has been mentioned Smile
Sorry, been out and about and then had a clary sage bath this evening.

Nothing happening hereHmm bored bored bored.

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 08:48

I don't want to say this for fear of scaring them away but I've just had 3 contraction type pains lasting about 25 secs at 6 min intervals. Never started labour naturally before, does this sound like early labour or are they a bit too close together?Confused

RachelWalsh · 10/06/2012 09:08

No idea dairy, only ever been induced myself, but sounds good if they keep up! Fingers crossed!

Bollocks all happening here - BORED.

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 09:12

Hope they hang around.. I sat up for a while and they disappeared but then I got another when I lay down again..

used2bthin · 10/06/2012 09:22

dairynips that sounds promising, I think it can start that close together and its good they are regular, fingers crossed for you. I am actually now terrified of going into labour before my tooth gets sorted, got dentist appointment today at out of hours, it is so incredibly painfula nd I don't know what they can do-don't think I can cope with treatment and am really worried about anti biotics with the anti biotics for the strep b to think of too.

Mind you some labour type pain releif would be good for the tooth.

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 09:56

Woo hoo blueGrin

Kveta Hope the sweep works and something happens for you soon.

Still getting contractions here although anything from 2 to 14 mins apart and lasting between 14 secs and over a minute.

EmilyD2012 · 10/06/2012 10:02

Wow BlueAndRed - what a punctual baby! Good luck - keep us posted!! x

EmilyD2012 · 10/06/2012 10:03

Dairy this sounds good, keeping everything crossed for you too!

rrrayray · 10/06/2012 10:07

Hope it's the start of things dairy

Woohoo. Go blue.

I had a good nights sleep last night. Night before I had 3 hours of contractions 7 mins apart about a minute long. Then died off to nothing. Gutting as a night of no sleep, but nothing to show for it.

Lucietea · 10/06/2012 11:59

Still here! I've got 4 days to go till I'm at the 42 week cut off. Can't believe it... Still no contractions but did have some pale pink discharge when I went to the toilet in the night. not blood exactly, but maybe some blood on the way? Hopefully! I bought a bouncy ball yesterday and been bouncing around on it. I wish I'd got one of these things earlier- they are great!
Great news about blueandred, and I'm jealous of your contractions Dairy! Good luck everybody, hope things start happening today for people.

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 14:20

Hey all, still getting irregular contractions. Wish they'd become stronger and more regular. Am worried they'll just dossapear suddenly, that would be disappointing..

Kveta · 10/06/2012 14:30

still nowt here, not even a show to show for the sweep this morning! off to march up and down stairs in a determined manner I think :o

RachelWalsh · 10/06/2012 14:41

Well, still nothing happening here. Have cleaned entire house, totally unconvinced this is any nesting instinct - just evidence of how bloody bored I am...

Good luck blue - go you!

dairy hope the contractions build!

And let's hope for more babies soon!
