I had a mmc in December, went for a scan at almost 14wks and there was no heartbeat, it was utterly heartbreaking.

Had an erpc and got back to ttc after christmas.

Got a BFP on friday, for 5minutes i was so happy my face hurt from smiling then fear hit me straight in the face, and I've felt uneasy since.

I'm achey/dull cramps at the bottom of my stomach/around my previous c-section scars, which i remember from being pregnant with dd, and now I've 2 scars, my youngest is 3.5yo.

However this terrifies me, I've always had horrendous nausea with pregnancy, and this time, its mild, occasional sick feeling.

I know im obsessing and reading into everything, theres no reason for this pregnancy not to be sucessful but i cant relax.

Anyone else been there who can reasure me, or even if you've not and had similar symptoms.

Thanks.

my dd is 3 mrsreiver, we decided to tell her a few weeks ago as we were too excited to keep schtum! but also she seemed a bit concerned as mummy has been quite poorly and tired! :o aww wlmum, glad your appointment went well. I also found out I'm 13 wks tomorrow, am a few days more further on than I thought! :)

welliesandpyjamas · 11/07/2012 19:28

Very pleased for you, gem! You must be grinning from ear to ear Grin

Also lovely to hear about your appt wlmum! Isn't it excellent to hear the heartbeat!

Had my consultant session today flippin 3 and a half hours wait and all fine. Heard baby's HB twice, once with midwife and once with consultant (who hadn't read the notes from the midwife saying she had done it but hey, I wasn't going to say anything and turn down the chance to hear it again! Grin)

StateofConfusion · 11/07/2012 20:28

gem my dd is 3 too, and so excited, we also decided to tell her and ds as they were concerned by me being 'poorly' dd is lovely to me and pats me when I gag and gets me water. I was very worried about her not being the baby as such anymore but I think she will be just fine as her mothering instinct is showing through. Ds is just mr cool, he's interested but not in the way she is.

wellies always try to be nice even though they keep you waiting (not saying you weren't of course)...when I was expecting dd2 the hospital wrote to me with a consultant apt. After waiting several hours I saw the dr who had no idea why I was there (neither did I)! I managed to be nice and say these things happen and not her fault etc. Was so glad I was nice as it turned out to be her doing my c section!

bonzo77 · 11/07/2012 23:25

Anyone else with terrible wind? I just made DH gag. Had to spray deodorant under the duvet. How old am I meant to be again?Smile

StateofConfusion · 11/07/2012 23:35

Yes bonzo I'm worse the other end though, I'm burping like a dirty man Blush

I just realised in all my excitement that I failed to post on this thread after our scan on Tuesday...all is great, saw the grublet dancing around with a lovely tiny heartbeat. Dates and size match up perfectly. Now roll on to the nuchal dating scan...only 14 more sleeps!

LauraPalmer · 12/07/2012 06:22

And yes, I'm also a total farty-pants these days Blush I blame the progesterone

gemdrop84 · 12/07/2012 07:36

great stuff laura, glad it went well! x

welliesandpyjamas · 12/07/2012 10:16

Laurapalmer - that's brilliant! Very pleased for you :)

It's ok, wl, I'm always too polite and grateful Grin. I did however start to panic after getting to three hours as I had to collect DS1 and had no mobile signal in hospital to try and call around for someone else to do it. School had kindly let me put him in after school club as a one off because of the appt but I hated the thought of then keeping the staff waiting after it closed too!

StateofConfusion · 12/07/2012 11:58

Ah stressing today, was so busy yesterday, then fell asleep at the usual time I feel baby move and can't remember if I felt it any other time

welliesandpyjamas · 12/07/2012 12:28

I've so been there, stateof! Sweet cold drink, lie on your left hand side. The consultant told me yesterday that the lie-down should be for two hours to count all the kicks...ha ha ha! Chances of me doing that with the dc around...or of me not falling asleep... Grin

WLmum · 12/07/2012 14:27

Great news Laura.
I am also in the windy camp, uncontrollable much to dhs amusement. I am terrified all the way through my pilates class!

StateofConfusion · 12/07/2012 16:46

Thanks for the tip wellies got some wriggling Grin

welliesandpyjamas · 12/07/2012 17:03

Good, good :)

StateofConfusion · 12/07/2012 20:39

Lucozade possibly wasn't the best idea, it now feels like I've got the entire cast of stomp in there Grin

But its made me feel brave enough to window shop online at clothes and consider writing a list!

How's everyone doing?

I just got the biggest movement from the baby ever! Really make me squirm and leap off the sofa, think it was rolling over. I'm sure movements weren't this obvious with dc 1+2, I'm 17wks tomorrow?

I just managed to eat a full dinner! I'm so happy - it's the first full meal I've eaten for 2 weeks. I really hope this is the start of a vast improvement as DS is beginning to get worried about me. Yesterday evening I was doubled over with constipation pain and he was close to tears. He said I always seem to be sick or tired and he thought I should see a doctor. Poor wee soul. Managed to reassure him by saying I just have a bug, but every so often I catch him looking at me with a little worried face. I can't wait to tell him so I can be honest about how I'm feeling.

StateofConfusion · 13/07/2012 21:44

Sounds positive mrs once I'd managed a meal things began to pick up, I worried my dcs too but now they know I can explain things to them and they don't worry so much, its still confusing for them though.

I've just scoffed a chinese that I've wanted for months it was brilliant, unfortunatly dd is still awake as I might have fell asleep when dp went to collect ds and she might have fell asleep too. But ffs does she have to be so annoying! My patience is wearing thin with the stupid noises and fidgeting and messing around.

MrsReiver · 14/07/2012 10:22

Just up (thank you DH) and I don't feel sick!!! DS has just watched me eat some breakfast and he seems to be relieved. Phew.

DH is getting us a Chinese tonight. I can't wait!!

welliesandpyjamas · 14/07/2012 16:45

Oh I think this baby needs Chinese...

MrsReiver · 14/07/2012 16:58

Yup, it definitely does Wellies Grin

WLmum · 14/07/2012 22:09

This baby keeps telling me it needs wine! It's having to settle for lots of chocolate instead, but man I miss wine!

mrs it's so hard isn't it, my dds have been saying they are exhausted for a while, hilarious from a 2 year old then I realised it's what they hear me say so I've been trying hard not to. In a way I think it's good for them to see we are mortal too and have illness and get tired just like they do (my mum hid everything from us which i dont think was entirely healthy) but it does scare them the poor sensitive things. My 5 year old always gets a bad back when granny has one, also v funny!

StateofConfusion · 17/07/2012 14:01

Hi everyone, I've lost internet at home for a few days Sad

My eldest was 5 yesterday and I spent the day on the verge of tears, so hormonal.

Also my nightmare sil who had her pfb on ds' 3rd birthday had baby no2 on ds' 5th birthday!!! What are the chances?

I've laid off my daily glass lucozade as it was sending wriggler mad, BUT its making me worry as its smaller movements. 17wks so still early for feeling anything so I need to relax!

Hello ladies,

Would you mind if I jumped on board the thread.

I'm now 10 weeks pregnant after 2 miscarriages and over a year of fertility problems.

I've already had three scans already, 2 NHS (6+8 weeks) after some bleeding - it never gets less scary and we paid for a private 10 week scan.

I still don't have a date for my dating scan yet...

It's SO hard being pregnant after mc I can only hope it gets easier as the weeks go on!!
