I had a mmc in December, went for a scan at almost 14wks and there was no heartbeat, it was utterly heartbreaking.

Had an erpc and got back to ttc after christmas.

Got a BFP on friday, for 5minutes i was so happy my face hurt from smiling then fear hit me straight in the face, and I've felt uneasy since.

I'm achey/dull cramps at the bottom of my stomach/around my previous c-section scars, which i remember from being pregnant with dd, and now I've 2 scars, my youngest is 3.5yo.

However this terrifies me, I've always had horrendous nausea with pregnancy, and this time, its mild, occasional sick feeling.

I know im obsessing and reading into everything, theres no reason for this pregnancy not to be sucessful but i cant relax.

Anyone else been there who can reasure me, or even if you've not and had similar symptoms.

Thanks.

state wishing you well for tomorrow, amazing that you can feel stuff going on already.

wellies well, that's one way to get out of baking! Good that you are getting some rest though. I have low blood pressure, and definitely think that drinking loads helps. Well, means that I feel less dizzy, even if the BP is the same.

morebounce hoping that the epu are helpful....push for a scan?

welliesandpyjamas · 14/06/2012 08:49

stateof thinking of you at your scam :)

more steak and chips sound diviiiiiiiine!! I want!

welliesandpyjamas · 14/06/2012 08:49

Or even at your SCAN, not scam!!!

Morebounceperounce · 14/06/2012 08:59

Morning all, I hope the GP can help you swansea8 as what you're going through sounds really hard. Hope you're feeling better too wellies* and you can get some steak and chips asap!

I have a scan booked for 9am tomorrow so just need to hang in there until then. The nurse said it didn't sound like I was miscarrying but I seriously have no clue what's going on anymore. Think I'll be resuming half hourly visits to the loo again today.

Thank you all again for all of your support, it is really helping. x

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 09:22

I was meant to be in at 9am, I need a weeeeee.

Oh poor you, stateof, it's the worst feeling, isn't it! My 12 week scan was an hour and a half late, I was literally ready to burst. They're lucky I didn't leave a puddle! Still, the scan pics were great!!

Hope they call you really sooooooooooon x

crowette · 14/06/2012 09:37

Ooooooh good luck State!!

Fingers crossed for More too!

Well I had typed out a post and as I pressed send MN went off line Hmm

Quick gist of it, was worried about no symptoms yesterday, to the point I was tempted to call epu, but decided against it. Today I have symptoms again [head meet wall] and I'm relaxing in noticing more of a pattern (quite abstract one at that) very rarely I get all symptoms on one day, usually a mix of 2 or 3, sometimes none (freak out time) so fingers crossed I'll be freaking out less as long as I remind myself of this Wink

Getting ready for work now, was hoping it'd be my last shift on this dept, but no, they need me to cover Sunday, and they haven't even covered my colleague for Sunday yet, so I could be working alone!! Yeah, going to have a chat about THAT today!

Right, I'm copying this post in case MN goes offline again Grin so I can paste it if I need to, then I'm off to work!

Hope it's good news for everyone today xx

SwanseaMum · 14/06/2012 10:07

Well what a load of ballocks!!! my bloods are relatively normal ( am still anemic but they haven't dropped much further) my ecg was slightly tacycardic ( excuse my spelling ) and to top it off I was kept waiting so long this morning that my pulse was beating nice and steadily grr its always the bloody same. At least she hasn't given up on finding out what is going on been referred for a 24hr ecg which is something at least.
rant over!!!
hope your scan has gone ok state!!
more good luck for tomorrow
xx

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 12:03

Scan was fine, heartbeat found the minute she touched me Grin

Baby was sleeping, curled up, upside down and back to front, so no nuchal fold, going ahead with the old triple test instead, GTT booked, 3 more scans booked, and got to take Vitamin D, they're fucking huuge and I have to suck or chew them Envy

WLmum · 14/06/2012 12:24

Great news state. What date is yr c booked for? I'm seeing mw tom so will get consultant apt to discuss c. We might be on the same day! I must ask about vitamin d.

Fingers crossed for Tom more

welliesandpyjamas · 14/06/2012 12:26

Excellent news, stateof!!! hope you're feeling brilliant :)

StateofConfusion · 14/06/2012 15:33

I'm feeling uncomfortable after such a long scan, abdominal and internal, plus not a lot of sleep so I'm on the sofa and nick jr is babysitting dd.

BUT I'm starting to believe it, I think!

Not an exact date but she put my name in her diary for week begining 17th dec Grin she said no definate dates until 32-37wks as GTT results and scan measurements alter it. I am just so relieved she said section without me having to ask!

Dd was so good at the scan and insisted on carrying my notes and loves the picture :) and ds was fine going to school with his friend.

Hi Ladies, how are you all doing tonight? Well I had my first appointment with the midwife today, was really freaking out but it went fine-Although I have the usual pregnancy symptoms and done the pg tests, I just cant believe I'm pg and now 8+3wks!! Midwife was really lovely and reassured me this time round it sounds like everything's going as it should be. It seems so much more real now I have my blue book! :)

StateofConfusion · 15/06/2012 12:21

I am so stressed out!

We've just done a financial review and our car is rinsing us dry, its bloody lovely zafira but it has to go, £220pcm insurance, 40pwk fuel plus tax repairs etc! Going to see a multipla this evening which is £70pcm insurance and far more mpg on fuel.

I want to cry! It will be better in the long run but anything car related sends me silly.

Plus dp is in hospital monday for a knee up and I'm in a state about that!

OP posts:
StateofConfusion · 15/06/2012 12:22

*knee operation NOT knee up Hmm

OP posts:
bonzo77 · 15/06/2012 13:04

state I'm not surprised you're feeling stressed. I quite like a car change, but on top of everything else at the moment it's all a bit much. £220 PCM is a lot though, and the multipla is pretty snazzy looking.

Today is DS's first day in pants and I'm very proud of him. He woke up this morning saying he wanted his pants on now. 2 wee accidents, one poo in the potty and lots of wees in the potty when asked. Not the unmitigated nightmare I had feared!

WLmum · 15/06/2012 13:10

state I thought knees up sounded a bit jolly! Hope he's ok. Insurance on zafira sounds mega high, we've got a c max that we pay about 250 per year for!

How much vit d are you taking? I saw mw today and asked about dose, she said she didn't know! Guessing that i May not have the best midwife I'll check NHS direct too.

crowette · 15/06/2012 13:57

Great news on your scan state!

Am still waiting to get my scan date, had my booking in appointment two weeks ago. Got my prescription exemption card through this morning though :)

I'm now stressed about my wedding - we're going to the register office on Tuesday to do the legal preliminaries and and among other things, we both need our birth certificates (neither of us have in date passports or photo driving licence - can't afford car or want/need to go abroad!) I have mine, but OH only 'thinks' his is at his parents house, tucked away in the loft somewhere. It's too late to get a copy the cheap way, so if he can't find it over the weekend, then he has to go the county general register office and pay £44 to get one on Monday ... this is after we've already paid out £40 for a copy of his decree absolute because he threw that away Hmm Why did we set an early date instead of waiting a year or so??!!

StateofConfusion · 15/06/2012 14:28

The zafira costs stupid amounts because dp is a new driver and just turned 25, i love that car but i was astounded at how much it all costs when written down.

Multiplas not my first choice but on paper next to a zaf its far better, has isofix and 6 independant seats versus the zafs bench seat with no isofix and just a middle lap belt, which can seat two seats only, so we could put all 3 dc in the back or baby in front with me and dp, far better in the long run whereas in our zaf we'd have to have ds in the boot permanently meaning next to no actual boot.

Can you see i am convincing myself here?

WL im taking ADCAL D3 (calcium carbonate 1.5g with Vitamin D3 400iu) they're chewable Hmm

feeling very tearful today
