Hey everyone.
Have been lurking over the past couple of days, but travelling with work and so exhausted I couldn't even muster up the energy to write a post!
sqidkid sharing your happiness at having done a very satisfying poo...I too managed one this morning. It was so satisfying I let out an involuntary audible sigh, and the had to stay in the cubicle until everyone else had left for fear of humiliation.
I too am getting up 4-5 times a night to wee, which is definitely not helping with the exhaustion!
Other than that not feeling at all bad. Have my follow up scan tomorrow after the bleeding I had a couple of weeks ago. Happy to report there's been no bleeding since and I'm really hoping we see a nice strong heartbeat!

missbone just want to say what wonderful advice everyone's given and hope that you're able to put this behind you. You definitely make this thread what it is and offer amazing support to all of us x

There were lots of other people I wanted to mention but my baby brain can't remember and if I hit back I'll probably lose all I've written.

Take care all x

marvellousmarie · 29/02/2012 21:53

Thank you Kerry! I understand your dilemma with sex, I must admit it's a bit scary. DH and I just had sex followed by syrup sponge and custard Smile I still went to the loo though worrying about 'breaking the seal'!! Hmm

Evilwater · 29/02/2012 22:04

Hello all,
A week later and the nausea has kicked in. However made ginger bicuts I want to thank them! I'm feeling tired to, just doing the normal stuff
Ew

HaggisNeepsTatties · 29/02/2012 22:07

Ouch, anyone experienced pain when blowing their nose? I just did and got this really sharp pain down what felt like each side of my uterus...never felt anything like that before...

Guccigirl79 · 29/02/2012 22:59

HaggisNeepsTatties I have felt that when I have coughed so can only assume its normal! Have also been experiencing pms like cramps is this normal too???!!

Angelico · 29/02/2012 23:09

Nenehooo - I think the crying thing is doing the rounds :) I haven't been too bad but did get watery eyed this evening at a news story about a horse being rescued from mud Hmm x

Missbone have never deleted a post before so wasn't quite sure on procedure. I have 'reported' it and asked MN to delete the OP's name. Hope that helps - and do try and relax about it all, it'll all blow over :) x

Haggis and Gucci I think the twinges are normal - coughing is especially bad. I'm surprised my uterus didn't end up between my knees the other night Hmm. And Gucci the PMS type cramps are totally normal, if somewhat freaky! Mine have only started to ease in the last week. x

Back to work 2moro and really do feel much better this evening :o Night night all xo

Evilwater · 29/02/2012 23:10

Gucci,
I have had them too, I've been told they are implanting pains.

Evilwater · 29/02/2012 23:12

Damn this sickness, I want some sex. Why do I have to feel sick at the start and end of the day??? Grr.......

missbone · 29/02/2012 23:36

Thank you, Angelico. Sleep well x

AngelGeorgie · 01/03/2012 00:38

sorry all for " invading" your thread however I want this post to be public.
Missbone contrary to what you believe I have not been or don t or have no intentions to " lurk" as you put it!!! I only knew my name had been mentioned on here as someone who has been of great support to me in the past few years mentioned it . I have asked for my name to be removed from this thread as I feel my confidenality has been breached.
When I came on here tonight to see in what context my name had been mentioned I did read your post where you mentioned " visiting our thread again to look for remarks after your apology". So, you accuse me of lurking ( which I neither have the inclination or time for) when in fact that's what you have done.
I accepted your apology. Move on. End of.

mirikat · 01/03/2012 05:35

balls, had just written long and (i thought) witty post about my sinusitis, but it disappeared, so here's the short version: does anyone know of a pregnancy-friendly sinusitis remedy to ease the headache and clear the infection? ta x

Bubblebell1 · 01/03/2012 07:14

Morning my lovelies, hope all is well.

Miri I put a spoonful of vicks in a bowl of boiling water then inhale and also fresh lemon and hot water clear it from your chest x

I had my second scan yesterday and everything was as it should be. I've got 4 weeks til my next scan unless there is anymore bleeding. I can't help but think I'm wasting their time as both times now the blood has come from my cervix.

Waiting today for ds1 secondary school place. Fx he gets his first choice.

8+4 dc 3

HaggisNeepsTatties · 01/03/2012 07:23

Morning all!

bubblebell great news on your scan and fingers crossed on school places!

Beans1977 · 01/03/2012 09:30

Aah Chrissie happy anniversary! I had my 5-year since I met DH last week - where does the time go? I hope you have a lovely evening and are spoiled rotten - lots to celebrate this year!

Beans1977 · 01/03/2012 09:31

Bubblebell just seen the news about your scan - YAY!
Fx on the school choices too x

Zoeplankton · 01/03/2012 09:31

haggis your poo story is hilarious.

Well I should be on the train to London right now. I'm not though - I'm sitting at my table with a scrunched up tissue, having been crying my eyes out for the last however-long. the house is covered in laundry and washing up and ladies, just for this morning, I am Not Coping.

DH is on a dash to fetch me milk (we've run out of all groceries too) having weathered the receiving end of a particularly specific diatribe on his game and the need to up it. Which is massively unfair as he has been cooking, picking up, all sorts. But at the same time... Well like I said. Not coping.

Here's to pulling it together later today, eh?

Midgetm · 01/03/2012 09:31

Bluebell Great news on the scan - and don't feel a fraud - you were there becasue you were worried and now you aren't - that is what they are for. I have spotting too - but I think mine is old blood or from my cervix so trying not to freak out and am determined not to call EPU. I have a scan next Wednesday anyway where I will be 7 weeks so that should be enough. patience is a virtue (repeat until I believe it)

Well I slept like a log (apart from the 2 wee breaks but still that is good enough for me). Have my prep to do for my interview but all I want to do is come on here and talk about being up the duff. Also nearly fainted when I got out of bed today.

Pooh Gate Fybrogel my new bestfriend may be coming out to play today. Whoever said hot water and lemon works for them are very lukcy. I drink that everyday and NADA. Maybe I am immune to it's powers. I am anaemic already and on 3 iron tabs a day so pregnancy combined with my vit overload means I am done for in the pooh department. Pilates this morning will be challenging as lots of moves with your legs over your head and roll like a ball is begging for a trump or two. I must go to the back of the class.

Hope you are blossoming rather than wilting.

Midgetm · 01/03/2012 09:34

Zoe I was a snappy bitch to my DH this morning. First time this pregnancy but I saw the fear in his eyes. I think I was like that for 12 weeks with DD. Poor love. I blocked the memory out and painted it as all flowers and hearts but he remembers the reality. Living with a grumpy fat cow who trumped a lot.

Kyyria · 01/03/2012 09:35

squidkid I can understand how you feel - i'm currently 5+3, 1st pregnancy and tried contacting my GP surgery to organise an appt with a GP to discuss meds before booking with midwife (asthmatic and had a very stressful 18 months (work related) that ended up with me having a panic attack, signed off for 3 months and currently still on antidepressants) - was told by receptionist to phone back when I was a minimum of 8 weeks.

I work as admin in a GP surgery myself so can understand why they want me to wait but I'm sooo desperate to make things feel real. Only really suffering with sore boobs and nausea. Feeling a bit fat (but I'm cuddly anyway at a size 20) but really want something to prove to myself that it's happening. First pregnancy so I'm completely bewildered as to what to expect!

Am really desperate to buy some stuff to make it feel really (have ordered some maternity pants - was getting in to the car after work on tuesday night and ripped the stitching on the zip - oops! Blush) - don't want to go mad as absolutely paranoid that I will eventually get to see the midwife, get booked in for scan only to be told that there is nothing there (!) or it's not viable!!

Still not being overly emotional, although I can see how the plight of bored ducks can be so depressing! Grin

Kyyria · 01/03/2012 09:38

Am laughing at midgetm - "He remembers the reality. Living with a grumpy fat cow who trumped a lot" Grin

Am laughing quietly to myself...my poor DH!...I'm was like that before I got pregnant!!!! Blush Confused Grin

bettybat · 01/03/2012 10:12

I haven't even sent my letter to the antenatal clinic yet. Lazy. The GP was so blase about the whole thing, saying I shouldn't get excited, no one else is yet, that the clinic won't contact me for weeks yet anyway....what an ARSE.

So it's been sat on my coffee table for two weeks.

HaggisNeepsTatties · 01/03/2012 11:05

Yay! Just back from my scan. Saw the heartbeat and measuring 8&2 so 1 day ahead of where I thought I was!

Chrissie congratulations on your anniversary...I hope there are some nice things on the menu that you want to eat!

Zoe sorry to hear you're struggling today, hope you're feeling better soon

midgetm good luck with the fybrogel...hope it does the job!
