Knitter - did you put the frozen muffins in the oven to defrost and warm them up? I love this idea - must make some extra room in our freezer so I can get baking! I'm thinking cookie dough might work too .. x

funchum yes - just pop them in the oven on a medium heat and poke occasionally so you whip them out at just the right moment!

I was inspired by myself (!) and made a batch of blueberry muffins this morning - just popped the into the freezer much to DH's horror - he was hoping he'd get to eat them!!

I've just got off the phone with a spectacularly arsey receptionist. She was a stroppy madam because I dared to want to change an appointment with an anaesthetist. Is my whole life meant to revolve around being pregnant?!

no news here - still two weeks until due date... I finish work this Friday which will be lovely - then I will be justified in doing no work and generally hanging round the house sorting stuff!

Morning all

I'm wide awake again for no apparent reason so thought I'd say hello!

Can't quite believe it's my last week at work! I finish on Friday and am practically counting the hours. My ankles are starting to swell at the end of the day now and I'm definitely more tired. Bring on mat leave!

I'd do the list but I'm on my phone and that would only lead to disaster! Any news from the top I wonder?

My dd2 is due 28th July after 2mc in may and October. dd1 was also conceived after mc so We're both unlucky and lucky!

Welcome abby lovely to have you over here - this is a pretty quiet board these days... unless someone has a wobble/problem... when you'll find that we leap into action and hand-hold with the best of 'em. Fingers crossed you've had a quiet pregnancy so far and for continuing lack of excitement and easy birth! Not much news from me, I'm sick of being woken up by heartburn though, I'm swigging gavisvon like it's going out of fashion. I'm seeing a counselling mw on Monday to discuss my previous birth trauma, I hope it's not going to turn into a vain attempt to convince me to try for a vbac.

Not much to report from the Moomin house- SPD has kicked in this week, I've been almost in tears on my 25 minute walk to work. DH has had to start giving me a lift in, which is a bit of a pain for him, as it's the opposite direction to the school-run route. Even sitting at my desk for 8 hours a day makes my pelvis hurt. I've got a new chair on order at work, and I'll tell the midwife about it at my appointment on the 28th. It's made me re-think my maternity leave though, and I've decided that I'm going to finish work at 33 weeks (3 weeks annual leave, then mat leave from 36 weeks). It's a lot earlier than I'd originally planned, but I don't think that I can stick working much longer than that. I'm realising that it's not easy being pregnant with DD4 whilst working full-time, doing most of the housework, having 3 DCs to look after when I get home, etc etc etc!

Right, going to make a 'batch cooking' shopping list for my first week of FREEDOM!!

Caroline Elizabeth arrived at high speed at 4.10 this morning, weighing in at 10lbs3oz. First contractions at 3, waters went at 3.20. Dash to hospital with contractions every 3 mins. Got to the ward and they checked me - 9cm. Next contraction she crowned, next one head out, next one she was out. No pain relief obv. Baby gorgeous. Mum and dad still in shock.

Huge congratulations knitter , what lovely news and your labour sounds great, although shocking!

mouse I'm tempted to ask for ranitidine, I suffered through last time but don't fancy another 14 weeks of it!
