Freelance, nice to see hear from you again! So pleased that things are going well for you.

I am going to take the plunge and join. Have had DS screening result today, 1 in 100,000, so very pleased with that. Have also started feeling the very first little flutters, early, I know, but it is DC4. So have decided that don't really feel the need for the freak-out room so much anymore (although, no doubt, that freaking out will continue for the duration!). Please could somebody add me, would do it myself, but kept cocking up the freak out stats. I'm 14+1, EDD 21st September.

Thank you for all of your kind wishes and am pleased for you freelance thinking about all of the early days in early pregnancy when every day seemed like an hour got me through labour.

They had to examine me every 4 hours in labour to see how my cervix was dilating and I was in despair at 10PM when I was only 6cm after what seemed like an eternity. I wasn't sure I would ever get to 10cm and have to end up with a section anyway. I didn't think I could make it to 2AM until the next exam as I hadn't eaten anything for 24 hours and had barely slept for 48 hours. Then I remembered how I had to wait between scans and worry if everything would be OK. I could find a way to endure another 4 hours. It's all worth it to have my baby finally!

Well as it's now Tuesday I'm currently 18+1 , and feeling rubbish. Dizzy and tired, plus nauseous again...I'm wondering if it's my already low blood pressure (90/50 2 weeks ago, dr google tells me it dips to its lowest between 18 and 20 weeks so probably even lower now!) or anaemia...my mw is on holiday this week, is it worth bothering the on call team do you think? I couldn't manage my full shift last night, it's the first time I've needed any time off so far but I wasn't exactly miss popular for asking to go.

amandine if it is anaemia you can just take normal iron tablets from the chemist without getting checked out - I'm taking the Ferroglobin B12 ones and feel like a whole new woman for it!

Sorry to hear that you're feeling so rubbish, Amandine. I thought I was over my sickness at the beginning of last week, but I realised that certain things still trigger it (like the smell of cooking chicken!). I would call the on-call team if you are worried.

I don't know why I said my due date is September 21st, it's the 20th! Must have been having a foggy-brained moment. I'm 14+5 today, and Funchum is due the day after me, so I've altered our dates slightly (hope that's ok, funchum!

Hi Ladies

Sorry I've been quiet. Just to let you know I'm still here and baby is still keeping me waiting!! I'm 40+7 today and currently waiting for the midwife to turn up to have a go at giving me a sweep! Oh the joys of pregnancy!

Will keep you updated. I'm really hoping the sweep works as it didn't with my DD and I was induced. Trying to keep an open mind but we'll see!

Morning ladies!

Hope you've all been enjoying the sunshine. It's been so lovely up here. Obviously now we're on Easter hols it's going to cool right down again though!

I'm 30 weeks today so last night did a big online shop for another car seat, mattress etc. We've got the carpet fitter coming on Tuesday. I feel really excited!

I'm taking DS to adventure valley in Durham today while DH does man jobs in the garden. Hopefully my collapsing pelvis will cope with a day out!

Hi Ladies

Still here and still no baby!!! Am now 40+10! After the midwife said she was hopeful the sweep on Wednesday would get me going I've had nothing but jelly stuff coming out of me but no signs of impending labour! After reading up on these sweeps I'm not sure why I bothered as they don't seem to work when you only have 1. Most people seem to need at least 3 to get them going.

Unfortunately in my area you only get offered 1 and then it's induction. I've got to phone my hospital at 7.30am on Monday to make sure I can go in to be induced. I'm desperate to have my baby and I was induced with my DD so I'm going for it. I just can't wait any longer!

After thinking I was having a March baby, looks like it's going to be an April one. I don't mind but the waiting has been a killer.

I feel really grumpy at the minute.

Can I join you here? I've posted on various threads during my ttc #2 journey mainly the metalling MC thread and freakout thread!

I'm 39 and due on 28th June with DC #2 (team yellow!) 6 weeks before my 40th birthday! Have got a DS who is 2.3m old and I miscarried last May at 7w. Think i'm now 27+3. Had a pretty awful birth with DS so have got an appt with the consultant at 35w to discuss options for delivery. My MW said it's likely i'll need to have an elective CS so will see what they say in a few weeks time.

I recognise quite a few of you from a few threads here and there!

Have been feeling quite anxious lately. Not just about everything being okay with the baby but in actually getting organised! I loaned out a lot of my baby stuff and people have either said they've given it back (and I can't find it anywhere!!) or it's gone missing! Plus I dug out DS's baby car seat and it's all mouldy! So need to try and clean it somehow and get a new mattress for the crib and carrycot etc. Not sure where i'm going to keep it all really as there is no space in our house!

All minor fretting though in the grand scheme of things!

Placenta is posterior this time so have been feeling lots more movement that I did first time round when it was anterior. Can't believe the difference.

Hope everybody is well and I look forward to all the upcoming babies being born!

That's great news amandine ! Did you have the triple test instead of the nuchal at 12w (or as well as?)?

Amandine, glad that your triple test came back ok!

Funchum, here's hoping that the next 5 1/2- 6 months fly by, and as you said, go smoothly. I'm hoping for nearer the 5 1/2 mark! Already feel as though I've been pregnant forever, but I think that's due to there only being a couple of months between MMC and this pregnancy.

Hoping that *lili has a lovely little baby by the end of today!
