keep getting aches on my right hand side, but could be anything, i keep getting them when i need the loo as well, so not holding my breath. velvet i'll gladly let you hold the baton for a little while.

last things to do almost done, met up with ds's friend and his mum at local soft play centre so ds has "last" chance to play with him for a little while. have a lunch booked with a friend tomorrow then i'm done, mum due down on wednesday.

MW appt this morn - she said she thinks I'm going to go overdue as she just has a feeling and I don't look worn out enough yet?! So, that's an induction on New years day for me then?!

Doo your mw must be some kind of psychic if she can tell already if you're going to be overdue. I could have done with someone like her if she might have spotted DS was coming 3 weeks early! As it was I'd had a mw appt on the Wednesday - not even a bit engaged and I was in hospital on the Sunday, DS born on Monday. My mw obviously missed the prediction course!

good news on the show cep - keep us posted if there is any other movement. I've been looking at slings recently - no idea if you can use them from birth though, I'd kind of assumed so but didn't really check (numpty newbie alert!)

yey for LAF on the list - you're well and truly stapled down now. Biscuits - totally emphathise with you on the wait for the scan on Friday, it's tough isn't it. Hope the time goes by as quickly as possible and that you're back on here telling us how well it all went very soon. Hope my psychic midwife is completely wrong btw - 38/39 weeks or even ontime would suit us perfectly!

doo unfortunately I think I know exactly what your mw means..... I'm sat here with 6inches of makeup on after another sleepless night! Still think I'll go overdue too though. Spd is just the same unfortunately. A bit sore the last few days because I've over done it, but I have to do things and obviously look after dd and I'm nesting. How are you feeling? Are you all ready now?

wombat I can't get the hang of collapsing/putting up the blinking Bug frame!! Need to try again, got cross with it last time .

No idea whether you can use slings from birth, but one of the yoga ladies came for a cuppa the other day and she had a rather fabulous fabric sling. I keep meaning to have a look, especially as she only paid £15 for it! It's a Victorias Sling one. Her baby is 11wks and was tucked up all cosy in there, but she got her out and put her back in really easily. She said it took a few goes but now it's easy to tie, and there are lots of videos on You Tube.

doo i'm not a newbie mummy but am a newbie sling user, all the videos show the youngest as being 6 weeks, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't use them from before.

harassed i'm trying not to but i keep thinking of things i need to do. i'm currently sat watching tv and checking my hospital bags.

nothings changed here, still blood on wiping when i go to the loo, but no pains or anything yet. My mum's been called and is going to make her way over here this afternoon to save a possible 1.5 hr journey in the middle of the night. Otherwise i'm off out to lunch with my friend while i still can.
