Lurky lurky

LAF77 · 05/11/2011 07:01

Also checking up for Irene! I am taking the step from lurker to graduate! I had my 20 week scan yesterday and all seems well. I am a member of team blue which I was pretty sure of since WK5. I can't update the list as I'm on my phone, but I'm 20+3 today. It's not yet sunk in yet that we are having a baby.

dachs are you prescribed bed rest? My relative had to have bed rest for a long time, maybe the third trimester. When is your next scan?

bigmacandhappymeal · 05/11/2011 08:51

Also lurking on phone

Blackkat · 05/11/2011 09:17

Lurky lurk too.....

Welcome to Laff congratulations on 20 weeks and team blues

Double yay for lady of leisure bigmac and bcs you found owl's Stapler!!!

Happy weekends everyone x

bigmacandhappymeal · 05/11/2011 11:16

Why thank you blackkat Grin ... I found the stapler under a pile of loveheart and haribo wrappers :)

I had such a shabby last week at work (in terms of amount of work to get through) that I feel a bit shellshocked but can feel elation building plus I got a really lovely send-off and some lovely, lovely presents. All in, I'm a lucky lady.

bigmacandhappymeal · 05/11/2011 11:30

also ladies, beware as the curse continues - our car has broken down! Angry

Blackkat · 05/11/2011 11:34

Sorry to hear you had such a bad last week at work, but good to get presents! And rotten luck about the car, do you think it's an easy fix?

Do we need to do a grad room tidy up?

bigmacandhappymeal · 05/11/2011 19:55

Very much hope it will be an easy - and cheap - fix FX please!

36+4 and managed to get through a firework display without breaking waters! :)

What is hoovering?

wombatinwaiting · 06/11/2011 11:29

Ooh where is Irene? Really hope all is ok with you.

WELCOME laff and well done on being brave and making the move!

Blackkat - did no one tell you about the grads room fairy? She does all the clearing away and always keeps the urn on for regular tea!

Bugger re the car bigmac. Fingers crossed it's an easy fix.

Currently typing in bed. Think I slightly overdid it yesterday with too much sun, painting, dinner out and then aquaerobics this morning hence feeling queasy and lethargic today - wombat has learned her lesson!

cep · 06/11/2011 16:06

afternoon ladies,

bigmac grr about the car, hope it's sorted soon.

laff welcome and congrats.

i am killing after yesterday all afternoon on my feet and serving/helping guests with food and mulled wine etc, my back and leg are killing. I also hardly got any sleep, we've put one of those potty training bed mats on my side of the bed and it doesn't half make it hot, it kept sticking to me even though it's under the sheet and just made everything so uncomfortable. so i am knackered today as well. Otherwise no movements here, think it's more likely to happen near the 10th than today though, but will soon see.

Hope you're all ok.

wombatinwaiting · 06/11/2011 16:31

Aw cep - try and take it easy - yesterday you clearly weren't! Could you try a towel on top of the bed mat but underneath the sheet? I hate that hot and sticky feeling and you need your sleep! Nag over..... Grin

Ireneisback · 06/11/2011 20:18

Hiya, just to say I'm back. Baby Joe was born on 3rd Nov at 5am after labouring all night to no avail, in spite of extra drip to induce me more, ended up with emcs. DS was 9lbs 3, and is absolutely gorgeous. We got out of hospital at 3pm today. I still hurt and my nips are killing me but we're improving slowly.

Will catch up later.

[Leaves boxes of Roses and Chocolate Oranges and stuff that people have brought to the hospital].

Ireneisback · 06/11/2011 20:20
