Thanks bigmac.

Will see how it goes I think and just hope it is a growing thing....

I hope you're writing your hospital bag list while watching Strictly Wink

I'm also catching up on Strictly Smile

getawiggleon · 20/10/2011 21:04

Delurks (again)

Tunnocks Conratulations! Grin Another beautiful name and wow, what a speedy delivery! My DD arrived in much the same way (minus the car park) I was in shock for 3 weeks after and am terrified at how quickly a second could arrive now! Hope Esther is settling in well and you're enjoying all those lovely cuddles xx

milkyways · 20/10/2011 21:31

Hi biscuits I get the exact same pain that you're describing across my lower abdomen when I've been walking alot or carrying shopping bags. I think it started around 15 weeks for me because I remember telling the midwife about it at my 17 week appointment. Like bigmac said, it's just round ligament pain, and shouldn't be anything serious. Just keep an eye out for when it occurrs the most, and try not to do anything too strenuous.

izzy Personally, I'd go!

Hope you had a lovely day wiw!

Biscuitsandtea · 20/10/2011 21:41

Ah thanks ladies - I shall avoid doing anything strenuous Smile

milkyways · 20/10/2011 21:42

Just wanted to quickly ask, has anyone here been to the parentcraft all day sessions, and how were they? I've got mine on Saturday for FOUR hours....9am-1pm, and am a bit "bleugh" about the whole thing. All the evening sessions had been booked up, and this was the last place left. Really stupid question: Should I take some snacks or something?!! I don't know how they're going to plan out the day so I'm thinking I should go prepared incase my stomach starts rumbling half way through! Any advice please!!

bigmacandhappymeal · 20/10/2011 22:02

Hey milky I found ours really helpful (9-5!) so I would say yes if you feel you need info in labour etc... And it's a nice companion to NCt if you are doing that. Def take a sardine - ours had biccies but I needed something else

bigmacandhappymeal · 20/10/2011 22:03

Oh FFS *sarnie, not sardine. Stupid phone.

Biscuitsandtea · 20/10/2011 22:11

I just has to read back to Milky's post to see if she had expressed a particular preference for sardines.... Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 20/10/2011 22:12

Had not has - stupid phone!

milkyways · 20/10/2011 22:22

Grin For a split second I just had images of me taking out a tin of sardines from my handbag and stinking the room out!!

Will definitely take something wholesome to eat then!!

mamapower · 21/10/2011 05:07

Congratulations tunnocks Grin

Daisy the middle name of my little one is Alice too, such a lovely name Smile

Hope the rest of you are all well and yes, do note the time of this post, when the babies arrive you will become very familiar with this hour Wink.

bigmacandhappymeal · 21/10/2011 05:16

CollieandPup · 21/10/2011 05:41

Ireneiswaiting · 21/10/2011 06:56

Morning All. How are all you tired mothers?

I'm now past the stage when my waters broke when I had DS. My mum arrived yesterday to stay and look after DS when I have the baby so I feel relaxed and just want to get on with it.

Had a rotten night with DS last night. He kept waking up and wanting me to sleep in with him but luckily DH took a large shift staying with him. He said he was having bad dreams. I'm wondering if the baby talk is unsettling him now things are so imminent.

PinkFondantFancy · 21/10/2011 07:02

Haha don't worry collie I was lurking here in the small hours too Grin

katherine2008 · 21/10/2011 08:31

Thanks for looking after the list so well stitch.

Just back from growth scan-turns out the little weener is perfect size, yey! Just as most of you reassuringly said too. It was nice to have a look at bub without the stress of it being the 12 or 20 weeker!

Off for a nap now after a crazy few wks. Wishing everyone a great weekend

ALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 21/10/2011 15:51

Quick delurk to say congrats to tunnocks and velvet :) Lovely names too.

Hope everyone else is well xx

stitchinline · 21/10/2011 16:08

Settles down in beanbag with toffee popcorn for the Irene and onions show, c?mon ladies let?s keep this run of lovely babies going

Collie so sorry to hear about your dh, a stress you really don?t need at this time

bigmac have fun with the bag packing, in my sad super organised state I have a baby spreadsheet which outlines everything I need to get before baby and one page is a hospital bag list although you may have picked that up from my list update obsession

biscuits having been getting quite a lot of those pains, can be a bit scary but as nothing else is untoward and I am using the Doppler to reassure myself haven?t totally lost it,

wiw sounds like a brilliant day, very jealous

milky enjoy your sardines :o

daisy i love Alice too, that is currently number 1 ranking on my girlie name list

yay for a good scan dooscooby :o

Been keeping low profile as the wait for my scan on Monday is making me a bit manic, plus work has been a bit mental. Starting to feel a few little movements from stitchy which are quite cool if a little freaky at the same time.

So ladies i hope you enjoy your classes if you have them, get some good sleep or have nice weekends snuggling new babies :)

shellshock7 · 21/10/2011 17:04

Congrats tunnocks, what a story! Grin

Biscuits I get these pains too, whenever I move and when I'm just walking about most of the time, is scary but normal I think now scan was ok and no probs doppling Smile

Stitch I have same spreadsheet, with same separate hospital bag list...and I'm not even ashamed! Tho DH despairs Wink Good luck for Monday.
