Anyone due in July?

Hi all,

Not seen a July thread on here so I?m hoping I?m not alone. 27+3 today and so far I have bought everything I could think of! I have a scan later on this afternoon. I?m hoping all will still be ok.
I?m looking forward to giving up work for mat leave shortly. Work is really annoying the hell out of me. My male bosses are so not bothered with giving me any special treatment whatsoever so I?m still carrying a laptop bag everyday in and out of work weighing 3st And I won?t mention that I have to carry this up 25 stairs into the building everyday? Grr

Anyone else fed up and wishing bubba?s due date was here already?

What ligaments did you pull, sounds painful???

JimmyChoo17 · 01/05/2011 14:59

10 weeks 6 days and counting!!! Woooohooooo! whick means 8 weeks 6 days until mat leave, happy days.

Is everyone still getting blatant kicks? My baby is back to my belly and it's all rippling movements of bottom and head....which is slightly odd and VERY visible to others!

RunDMC · 02/05/2011 12:54

ouch prolific hope you're on the mend now.

Lots of kicks here JimmyChoo although baby is mostly transverse/oblique so they are all in the same place - down by my left hip and up on the right under my rib cage...

had a bit of a funny turn/almost fainted on Sat but think it was because I spend the morning cleaning, then went shopping in the afternoon and it was pretty hot. Sat down when I got home and felt very bizarre. Passed in about half an hour though and been feeling OK since..

12 weeks to go here... Grin

HI Ladies,
I've not been on for about a week - hope you are all doing well. I felt hiicups for the first time last night! It was quite strange, I can't imagine what the baby gets up to in there sometimes - I think there may be a mini disco sometimes! I've started to see my tummy move now, which I always thought would freak me out, but I actually quite like it.
prolific, you know how you posted ages ago about raspberries and meringue? Well I have to say that the thought haunted me all week until I got some on Sat - Its been a daily occurence since (but with strawberries).
The need to get up to pee about a million times every night (well, thats what it feels like!) bugs me as well - does that ever go back to normal?!

Bumped for prolific

Hi ladies, all gone quiet here..

just thought I'd ask a quick question - I'm 29 weeks and in the last 2/3 days have suddenly become totally shattered most of the time. Seems to be worse in the mornings. I work at home and have no DC's so not like I'm running around like a crazy person. I do have a dog and usually take him for a 20 minute walk in the morning. This morning when I got back I could honestly have gone to back to bed. Is this normal ?

JimmyChoo17 · 09/05/2011 18:35

Yep! I have days where I am fine but then suddenly days where I could just sleep standing up!

Loving single figure countdown 9 weeks 4 days to go!!!!!! Getting really uncomfy, miss being able to bend at will, am wondering if I have an octopus in there......what's everyone's movements like? I've gone from distinct strong kicks and punches to ripples, lighter nudges and rolls....is that normal? I guess space will soon become an issue but whilst I have plenty of movement it's not as Strong as before. Trying to work out if it's bum or head rolling round my ribs Confused

ShazGJ · 09/05/2011 20:13

Also having days when I feel totally shattered too. Find having a power nap for 1 HR when needed helps a lot, luckily I have no dc to look after.

I sometimes get very strange stretchy feeling like baby is bracing itself against uterus wall. I have also found it difficult to bend in the last week or so, last weekend I could see my toes, now I can't. Wondering how much bigger I can possibly get! I am also counting down in single figures now woo hoo!

Indigestion has returned, found only really bland food like boiled rice and potatoes help Sad

JimmyChoo17 · 09/05/2011 21:29

Mmmmmmm carbs!!! They just pile on as weight when not pregnant but since being pregnant carbs seem to fix everything!

Yep good way of explaining it shaz I swear baby stretches out fully rather than the foetal position ha ha!

laurieleigh · 10/05/2011 07:59

sitting typing this with baby doing aerobics inside me... can see her pushing top right and bottom left in my belly so she really does seem to be stretching out in there!
As for the tiredness... yep, it's back for me too :( - 28+6 and could do with a nap most afternoons now. I thought it was just a couple of busy weekends (finally got nursery sorted :)) that had wiped me out, but friends are experiencing the same.
Still getting the occasional 'good' day though, so I'll hang on to those as long as they last!
