I still have three positive tests on top of the loo so I can look at them every time I use loo :)

Doc didn't give test but told me due 30th Dec (I've had 27th Dec and everthing else inbetween!). The 31st will be our wedding anniversay so fingers crossed all goes smoothly.

zambooloo · 21/04/2011 12:39

No way - I bought a pregnancy journal on amazon so I'll put a copy in there. It is very exciting and unreal, when is your due date mopsytop ?

zambooloo · 21/04/2011 12:42

Have you all also looked on the Due December 2011 thread in the ante natal clubs section?

figgygal · 21/04/2011 12:59

Oh I think that's nice I'm gonna do it too been 6 days since last did a test afterall. Am turning into a crazy person!!!

figgygal · 21/04/2011 13:03

Ooh my mumsnet guide to pregnancy just arrived it's massive. Right well that will be my weekend sorted not like I can go out partying afterall

mopsytop · 21/04/2011 13:39

22 December according to me! Don't know if midwife will say something different! I have the mumsnet guide figgygal - it's really good!

lalababy · 21/04/2011 14:09

Ha - I think we are all doing the same thing. I have no symptoms to the tests just help reassure me. Figgyagal - i read that a home test is actually even more sentive that at a doctor's office - so positive means.."positively positive!" I went to the Dr and he didn't even do another test - he just referered me on!

lalababy · 21/04/2011 14:10

What is the mumsnet pregnancy guide?

mopsytop · 21/04/2011 14:32

Hey girls, I had morning sickness all day for the past 2 weeks and it's suddenly gone today. Do you think the bean is okay? I am worried. All my symptoms suddenly gone ...

OP posts:
mopsytop · 21/04/2011 14:41

actually, it had calmed down yesterday and Tuesday but still there a bit, but today I am fine ...

lalababy · 21/04/2011 15:10

mopsytop - I am sure the baby is fine. You should just be thankful that it has calmed down in time for your holiday!

Wiwa · 21/04/2011 15:27

Hello girlies! Looks like the hospitals are gonna be rammed in December!! Hello lalababy and zambooloo! Congratulations to you :) i'm a teacher too zambooloo and I'm due the day before you! When are you gonna tell work everyone? Got a letter from MW today telling me about my appt on 16th may.... Yikes! Feels less real now that I don't have my test to look at ( so should have taken a pic) cried when my clear blue ran out of battery...! Refusing to wear my Nan-bra, but feeling pretty porn-star-ee wearing my normal one!!

lalababy · 21/04/2011 15:28

I cant believe there are so many of us who are likely to have xmas babies. I am due on boxing day - but hubby is hoping for "baby jesus" which he find truly amusing! I wonder if any of us will end up at the same hospital!

Wiwa · 21/04/2011 15:32

Lol! My Mum's convinced that mine will be born on christmas day because that's when it would be if i was a week overdue and most first babies are late...That would be weird if any of us were living nearby. Anyone else here from the South West?

figgygal · 21/04/2011 15:33

Mopsy I'm having a no symptom day too it's so weird. I just told my mumlong story but had to tell them early she cried bless her my dad spoke about the financial implications of babies........ Dads eh

mopsytop · 21/04/2011 15:41

Yeah and it's a bit late too! It's not like you can decide to suddenly call it off while you save for a few years! It is scary though. This £9000 uni fees thing makes me feel we had better start saving even twice as much as we had originally thought for the baby's future!

I haven't even told my parents yet! I just found out a few days ago myself - and still can't believe it is real!... I am in north west london...

mopsytop · 21/04/2011 16:50

Right, I am off now! Yay! A week off. I might be away from these boards for most of the week but don't forget me December ladies! Have a great Easter.

lalababy · 21/04/2011 20:09

Awww... I hope u feel better. Hang in there. Think of all the holidays ahead!!! Hubby and I are off to Italy for a week... Yippe. A bit sad about the wine but can't wait to eat all the yummy food!!!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 21/04/2011 20:25

Lala Thanks :) where in Italy are you off to?

LauraLoo34 · 22/04/2011 08:34

May I join you ladies?

Found out yesterday after the Clearblue digital read Pregnant 1-2!

First time for me too. Shell shocked but very happy. Symptoms started - nausea in the evenings on and off from 6pm. Sore boobs at that time too. Cramps have been coming and going too.

Told my OH last night and had a jack and coke ready in the fridge to help with the shock!! We hadn't been not trying (if that makes sense) and were prepared for a little surprise to happen but neither of us expected it so soon! First month! Not complaining, I know how difficult it can be and what a miracle it is to happen so soon.

Have similar worries to the other ladies on here as so early days, but will be keeping a happy optomistic outlook that all will go as nature intends and my little micro-bean grows healthily :)

looking forward to all the chat from fellow Dec newby mums. EDD I think is 29 Dec - got docs on Tues. What will they do?

LauraLoo34 · 22/04/2011 08:41

Ps. I'm in SW London. Lalababy - I too haven't told the folks. Want to keep it to ourselves for a few weeks longer.

DarciesmumandBump2 · 22/04/2011 08:47

Laura Congratulations Grin

Your GP will just take some details like date of LMP, EDD, where you want to give birth. And then book you in with the mw.

How did your DP take it? Did he need the Jack & coke?
