p.s. totally not trying to be rude to anyone with big boobs. It's just I am not used to them!

kri5ty · 20/06/2011 15:28

Haha, well I was an a cup, and had a boob job, I still thought they were small after, and was wearing a b or c cup... turns out I'm a D Haha they still look small though! To be honest I don't think they'd be enough skin for them to get bigger!

Tmi?! Haha

mopsytop · 20/06/2011 15:32

Well it's extraordinary how much it can stretch! It is very weird when they expand that much, I honestly feel like I have someone else's boobs when I look down! It's an odd feeling! So you never know - in a few months you might be pushing an E or an F cup!

kri5ty · 20/06/2011 15:41

Ooo I'd look very odd if I did I only have a tiny frame!

Does anyone know if expressing milk has the same effect as breast feeding, with regards to weight loss etc x

pregnantmimi · 20/06/2011 23:15

figgygal · 21/06/2011 14:56

I am going to have to make move into maternity clothes imminently my old work trousers I had stopped wearing as they were too big now for quite snugly car is in for a service today not gonna have money for clothes how do people manage it with a baby.

AmGetting annoyed despite boobs hurting badly not really grown at all was the 1 thing was looking forward to since am an a or b cup normally.

pregnantmimi · 21/06/2011 16:12

went shopping today in debenams red herring got nice maternity stuff got black coat dress and long tops got a proper baby bump now rather than a fat belly lol

mopsytop · 21/06/2011 21:05

Seriously figgy it's not that great, if you're not used to them, they just get in the way all the time (even my husband has remarked that it feels weird hugging me!!!) and you can't fit into any of your old tops which is an expensive pain!

The bump band on my new jeans ripped THE FIRST DAY I WORE THEM! I am really annoyed as they are such a great fit and I love them. Debating whether to sew up or bring back - but if it's a design flaw will prob just happen again ...

Spent entire day in bed with a headache again, feeling a little better now, can finally eat something. I really really hope week 16 sees an improvement. Better get off the internet now, only popped on to check my mail, don't want to make my head bad again.

pregnantmimi · 22/06/2011 14:22

i just starting losing my appetite and weight gone down half a stone but because I put on a stone and a half in first trimester not too worried. Just cant seem to eat as much for example if I have my dinner can only eat half of it and feel full. Yesterday had a jacket pot with beans and cheese and it was so nice ate it all and felt really ill and bloated after. Its like I have had a gastric bypass lol.

Awomancalledhorse · 23/06/2011 13:36

2nd trimester & I'm still sleeping for 8-10 hours a day!
Where's this energy boost I'm supposed to get??

Mopsy where did you get your maternity jeans from? I've only looked in a few shops so far & they all seem a bit flimsy (next, dorothy perkins & mothercare)!

mopsytop · 23/06/2011 17:11

Papas and Mamas. Not impressed with the band ripping. But other than that LOVE them! They look like normal jeans, lovely fit.

OP posts:
figgygal · 23/06/2011 18:06

I have just taken receipt of some jeans from eBay they were mamas and papas got them for 9 bucks and love them. Just ran round the bedroom in them doing lunges and they long length so fit ace. Got a matalan voucher in post today gonna go there over weekend as need work tops and trousers next. Have stuck a load of clothes in the loft this week ahead of operation babyweight in January MUST get back into clothes after baby here

ElleEW34 · 23/06/2011 22:10

Just ordered first maternity dress for work as struggling with my usual slim fitting ones! Bump is bigger and more noticeable in the evening than in the morning.

mopsytop · 24/06/2011 13:50

Going to bring the jeans back on Saturday and hopefully get a new pair and this time take great care not to pull at the band. Although really it should be stronger than that, I was already being careful.

The slim leg jeans I got I love but they are already falling down all the time and have to keep pulling them up - is this a problem with all under the bump jeans? Or has anyone found a good pair that stays up?

kri5ty · 27/06/2011 12:20

fingers crossed they will go soon mopsy

ooo i can't wait to find out if its a boy or girl :) is everyone else going to find out?

figgygal · 27/06/2011 13:16

i have a killer headache today with the heat not happy!!

Well my 16 week appt went without event think was in there for 15 minutes at most she took my BP and that was it, no listening for the heartbeat, no bloods and didnt even weigh me (not that i am unhappy about that feeling enormous after a weekend in devon scoffing scones, icecream, chips on the beach VERY naughty).

Turns out i am Rhesus Negative not sure how worried i should be since we dont know DH blood type and so baby could be negative too looks like i will need more bloods and an injection or two in the months to come. Initially when i read the leaflet she gave me had a mini freak out that my body was going to try and kill the baby as it would recognise it as a foreign body but have calmed down now. Anyone else know if they are Rhesus negative?

Am definitely finding out if it a boy or a girl i think it is a boy but that may be because i am desperate for a girl and so setting myself to get used to the idea of a boy. Going to be a long wait to the 21st and then got to hope baby is co-operative and they can tell the gender. I might still go for a private gender scan after that for a 2nd opinion as i know mistakes happen.

Awomancalledhorse · 27/06/2011 19:04

Figggy Glad it went well today! No idea what Rhesus neg is, hopefully my mw will tell me more at my 16wk apt next week!

I've been referring to squatter as 'he' (DH didn't like me calling it 'it'), so will be odd if it is a girl! We're not going to find out, feel like it will make the bonding go better if I don't know (personal thing!).

I caved and bought a Fetal heartrate detector (an Angelsound one), so have just heard Squatters heartbeat for the first time, thought it was my bowels at first Blush.

How is everyone 'enjoying' being pregnant during a heat wave??

Cherrypi · 27/06/2011 22:49

Anyone else got stretchmarks yet? Seem to have developed two new ones since yesterday.

Awomancalledhorse · 28/06/2011 00:22

Cherry DH found new ones on the side of my leg (just above the knee & to the side) earlier today. REALLY pleased at him for pointing them out.
