Yes! No nausea so far today - woohoo! even managed to drink some milk this morning and not feel sick - major breakthrough. Have been worried about not getting enough dairy but finding it really hard to stomach until now.

Your scan is tomorrow right kri5ty?
Good lukc ratty! I am not until Monday. CANNOT WAIT!

Meant to be working from home this am before scan but currently driving myself insane reading about mmc & all things that can go wrong. I wad fine until a day ago but my mind is in overdrive especially coz of them saying I was 2 weeks less pg than I thought at my private 8 week scan. Arrah!

ComeTalkToMe · 07/06/2011 10:48

rattyratbag good luck, hope your scan goes well and you have a lovely pic

Glad people are starting to feel better. I feel pretty normal now, felt rubbish when we were really busy at work and now I feel better it's quieter - typical!

I am finding people are really kind with their old baby stuff, one of my friends has offered me so much stuff and it's all lovely! We're trying to save as much money as possible for maternity leave, did a car boot sale on Sunday and managed to make £80. There were lots of people selling loads of baby clothes - hard not to spend money.

kri5ty · 07/06/2011 11:43

yup mopsytop its tomorrow, today is going sooooo slow! Well done witt the milk, i can only manage skimmed, but i guess something is better than nothing hehe :o

good luck rattyratbag! im paranoid about a mmc too... but i will find out tomorrow!

mopsytop · 07/06/2011 11:53

I know - time is dragging! I know it's terrible to be wishing away my life but I just want it to be next Monday and everything to be okay with the bean. Finding it practically impossible to concentrate on work!

Also, as all of us appear to be, am paranoid about mmc. It's hard not to be when you can't feel anything going on down there!

Hurrah! My little specklet is fit & healthy and growing. New dd of 21st dec which puts me at 12 week tomorrow. This date pleases me as is part way between my 2 previous dates & makes sense. was amazing to see how much its grown, arm moving around & heart beating. What a relief!

mopsytop · 07/06/2011 13:19

Yay! Congratulations ratty!

Hello everyone, this is my first message on mumsnet. I'm pregnant with my first baby and I'm due on 29th December. I'm feeling tired all the time, which is difficult and I can't wait for my first scan on 17th June!

rattyratbag · 07/06/2011 15:18

Welcome littlepic. Tiredness is pants, especially when in my case I seem in capable of sleeping in & waking up at 5 something every morn whatever time I go to bed! How are you otherwise?

mopsytop · 07/06/2011 15:30

welcome Littlepic! I know what you mean about tiredness, I have been having total exhaustion. Going to bed at 8pm as often as I can really helps me. I spent 3 weeks just going to work, coming home, dinner and straight to bed. Not very exciting socially, but it really helped me cope with work, otherwise I was too exhausted. Last week, however, I had to sleep 2 afternoons as I couldn't stay awake.

My scan is next week too (13th) and I am so impatient!

Hi thanks for the support. It's nice to hear other people a suffering with the tiredness. I was feeling like a bit of a wuss. Things have not run totally smooth throughtout my pregnancy so far as I've had two lots of spotting at 5 and 8 weeks. Had a couple of scans and all seems to be well so far, baby growing and has a heart beat. The tiredness at least reminds me i'm pregnant!!

Good luck with your scan mopsytop xxx

newartriotstar · 07/06/2011 20:29

I haven't been on here for ages! Will be 12 weeks on Friday and have my scan on the 17th. I'm excited and terrified all at the same time. I'm still feeling pretty sick a lot of the time but I'm only actually throwing up when I brush my teeth which is driving me insane! I'm waking up in the night a lot still to wee too. This is probably TMI but the biggest change I've had is that my inverted-from-birth nipples are no longer inverted. This is currently quite the novelty for me!

CandyS · 07/06/2011 21:41

Welcome littlepic, hope your pregnancy gets easier.

cometalktome, we've just put a LOAD of dvds/cds onto Musicmagpie, which is an extra £50 into 'baby bank'.

My scan is on Thursday, teasing husband by telling him it 'feels' like twins Grin.

kri5ty · 08/06/2011 08:56

Ahh scan day today.... nervous!

mopsytop · 08/06/2011 09:00

Good luck kri5ty! Hope it all goes well, let us know!

Had the biggest craving for milk this morning - had to go and buy some when I got to work, and drank a whole pint in about 10 minutes! I normally never drink milk. Felt a bit sick after, mainly because I drank too much I imagine!

I guess this must be my first craving!

OP posts:
CandyS · 08/06/2011 11:59

Good luck kri5ty!

Mopsytop, yay on the dairy craving! I've been drinking about 4 pints of nesquik a day for the last week Blush, never had to buy so much cow juice in my life.....would be so much cheaper if I were able to pump out my own now! Shock

sazzermol · 08/06/2011 12:52

Just back from scan, sooooo exciting but I was super scared this morning. Lucky to say everything is perfect, tiny wriggly little baby with a strong heartbeat. I think I'm in love with the pictures, can't stop staring at them Blush
