I just found out, am due December. First baby. No clue about anything! But pretty excited!

hi everyone, Bluecrane was thinking of you all day yesterday. Hope you are feeling okay this morning. I guess this will be a hard few weeks. I hope all goes well and that you can start TTC again as soon as you would wish.

I woke up with a horrible headache again this morning, and I was only congratulating myself yesterday as it had been nearly a week since my last one! Heigh ho. Having a big party tomorrow week with lots of friends, sort of a very belated wedding celebration as we only had a tiny wedding (2 years ago but never mind!) and am getting excited about it! It's very casual - barbeque and keg - so not stressing about it but looking forward to seeing all my friends!

Hey Ladies.

My mind is going into overdrive that everything is okay as a few ladies have unfortunately had MMC in the last couple of weeks. and with a little stress at home due to DD attitude (long story) i'm going mad I think. So I've invested in a sonoline B fetal doppler, can't wait for it to arrive as still 3 weeks till my scan hopefully will put my mind at rest and let me relax a little.

Hoping that my exhaustion and slight nauseous feeling is due to Merlin growing and not all in my head. Also think my uterus is hard and bulky now which again I hope is a good thing (prob means nowt tho).

Also Ladies. How many weeks would you make me my LMP was on 21/03/2011 on a 28day cycle. Lots of calculators are saying 9 and some are saying 10weeks. My calculator at work (I work in a GPs practice, so one a GP would use) is telling me 10+2 - confused!

hi Darcies I have confusion about that too. My LMP was 19/03/2011 on a 26 day cycle and I think I am 10. But I am not sure either. Different websites say different things. I suppose the dating scan will tell for sure but otherwise how can we know?

Yeah I'm waiting for the dating scan to be sure. However, 3 weeks seems like ages away. and TBH I don't think its right to make a woman wait that long for a scan as your in limbo hoping everything is alright.
Hopefully my mind will be put at rest when the doppler arrives. Although will prob be after the bank holiday so when I see the MW on monday going to see if she will have a listen.

I am finding it immensely long as well. I just looked up again and some websites say I am 10 and others say 9, but the ones that say 9 don't take into account my shorter cycle I think, as they don't ask about how long your cycle is. I don't want to have to go back a week! It feels like SO LONG since I found out and it's only 7 weeks!

Darcies - I gave in and booked myself a private scan for Tue. I can't bear to wait another 3 weeks either. Hope everything's ok as I am getting very nervous.

Hi Ladies, I really understand your panic - the waiting is horrible. I'm on the other side of things - had scan early at 10+3 and all seemed okay. I'm really, really thankful for that. Now can't help worrying that something has happened in between. I'm now 12+5 and my symptoms have really died down. This week I'm convinced my belly has stopped growing or looks smaller - I've taken to measuring it so I can chart progress. I think it didn't help that I have a history of m/c. They were running 40mins late with my first scan and it was all over in a minute and a half. I didn't see the baby move or the heartbeat although the sonographer did which probably hasn't helped with reassurance. I should be in the growing phase so will chart development over next 2 weeks and if no bigger, will be on the phone with the hospital - 20 weeks is far away. Just can't help but feel that scan was too early and that closer to 12 weeks would have been better!

well I have psoriasis on my feet :( as seem to want to shread my feet to bits at night. DR also felt my tum and he can feel my uterus which is a good thing yes?

Mizza - can't afford a private scan at the mo, too much going on.

how's everyone feeling? I was at a posh dinner Friday night, had to rush out after 2nd course to go and vom :( mortified. Couldn't eat the other 2 courses. what a waste!

I had my dating scan booked...it's JULY 8th (I'll be 16 weeks), does that seem a little late to any of you? If you were me, would you just get a private scan? Local place does them for £100.

Seein Midwife on thursday, so can ask her about rebooking then.

I would ask your midwife, because I think the Nuchal scan needs to be done between weeks 10 and 14. So definitely get onto your midwife and check, I'd say. Definitely check before shelling out £100!

mopsytop, thanks for getting back to me! I'll nag her about it this week. I know it's only early days but I'm already panicking that the NHS will be useless (I've never needed to go to the hospital, so only know how good/bad it can be through other people)!

candyS mopsy is right nuchal has to be between 11 & 14. if u want nuchal they will have to make it earlier. I had managed to get a private dating what I thought was 10 & 3 but turned out to be 8 weeks as mid wife had never got back to me. She has now booked me in at what would be 11 & 3 or 14 weeks with old dates! Where i went is just off m20 junction 4 & called Kings hill medical imaging & cost £50.

Hope they rearrange something fo you candy - I would just be very firm and insist. I don't think the NHS are useless in general at all, but I think sometimes you just need to be clear about what you want and ask for it.

I just vommed up breakfast AGAIN. I am sick of feeling sick!

Yay! Keep us posted with the developments. Now my wedding is over, I like to hear about others!

I am grand. I am puking most mornings now and some evenings too but hey, it's okay so long as the bean is okay. Scan today 2 weeks, counting down the days to be honest. Just want to have the reassurance that it's developing okay etc. It's so hard not to worry.

I'll keep a wedding blog going along with a pregnancy one here lol.

I agree about the scan mine is 2 weeks thursday :) seeing the MW in the morning and hope she will listen to the heartbeat.

so im kristy, 26, living in Chorlton, 12 weeks and looking for people to chat to, and also meet up with!! As i knoe once the baby comes along all signs of a social life will go out of the window and would love to meet people in the same situation!!

Mizza76 where did u book your private scan/? I had probelms very early on, had an early scan, everything was ok, but all my symtoms stopped at 9 weeks, and i am so worried and my scan isnt until next week, i know its a lot of money but im not sleeping im that worried!!

YAY Darcies How exciting! hi Kri5ty. Congrats. Totally with you on the scan worry, feel the same. Another 2 weeks to go for me :( is nervewracking.

So so tired today. Work has been a disaster today. Feel sick too. BOOOOOO!

shame mopsy but the good thing is at least being so nauseous means that the bean is healthy. I was told that the morning sickness is getting rid of the bad toxins and stuff as well as the bad skin. So know you worried but u having such hectic symptoms is a good thing.

darcies ao glad you found something so quickly that is so exciting for you.

Feeling much better this week but definatly starting to get some more padding around the tummy area and Im only 9 weeks!! aaahhh!!! Oh well what can you do.
