Yeah FX. So far so good I guess (although slightly worrying about MMC, but then that is just silly, no point worrying for no reason).

Re: wedding I defs think there are so many things you can do yourself and it can be quite fun - I really enjoyed making the invitations, for example. I got my friend and my mum to help and we had a really fun time doing it.

Ugh major vomfest this morning (sorry if TMI) - not pleasant. It's funny how some days I onyl feel nauseous, others I have to actually be sick. Can't figure out a food pattern, if I could I'd make a change! No headache though at least, so things could be worse!

How are you all today?

figgygal · 25/05/2011 12:38

Im stuffed with allergies or a cold or something not feeling great today. My head hurts think i am oxygen deprived because of the blocked nose feeling tires and miserable.

also starving hungry today already eaten my lunch and all my food took to work with me going to be a long weekend.

CandyS · 25/05/2011 12:44

Anyone elses partner mesmerised by your big milk bags?
I've gone from a 34D to a 36DD (already! Spent a small fortune on bras so far) and DH can't stop staring at me. It is helping me win arguments, so no complaints!

BlueCrane · 25/05/2011 13:28

Well, after an awful night's sleep I have made it into London for my meeting and back again and now just having little mini break at home before going into the office...trying to take life more slowly! Am so tired due to lack of sleep last night though, think work and scan stressing me out, hence being awake from 2-4am!! Less than 24hrs to scan now though! DH and I keep flitting from 'what if there's nothing there?' to 'what if there's 2 beans in there?' Shock in my awakeness I worked out a new nursery layout if 2 cots needed Blush no reason for us to suspect twins as no family history, just we both keep talking about it!!

BlueCrane · 25/05/2011 13:29

PS candy my DH thinks 32D to 34D is pretty good too! I've also bought several new bras though my mothercare ones are definitely the most comfortable!

mopsytop · 25/05/2011 13:44

candy I have gone from 34B to 34DD !!! I don't like it though, I preferred my old boobs! DH is reassuring that it's fine but I have a feeling he prefers the 'normal' me too! Ah well, it's not forever.

Blue and figgy hope you feel better soon. Blue I am actually one of a multiple birth but funnily enough not worrying at all about there being more than 1 bean. It's just so unlikely. More worried about there being no bean! Irrational judging by my nausea, massively increased boobs, exhaustion etc. but still worrying!

Good luck for scan tomorrow!

sorry 36DD not 34. It feels like a massive difference. I really notice it. None of my old shirts/tops fit at all, let alone bras!

CandyS · 25/05/2011 15:20

Blue I shall march, ok waddle, into Mothercare at the weekend and try their bras (been buying sports bras from M&S), thanks for the tip, DH seems to think we're having twins (even though no twin births in either family since early 1900's!) so we've been having the 'holy shit! we need a bigger house/car/bank balance' panics! Good luck with the scan tomorrow!

mopsy! I can't even begin to imagine how huge your boobs will be at 9 months, what a jump in sizes, in such a short space of time! Our collective poor backs :(

BlueCrane · 25/05/2011 15:52

candy I just bought one of their two packs which has one black, one white in plain cotton - not the most attractive but a lot better than some I've seen! They were £22 for the pair I think. They do also do others in print fabric/other colours as well and a good range of sleep bras though I haven't tried those yet. Really hoping boobs don't decide to grow too much more for a while though as it could get v expensive buying new bras every couple of months!!

CandyS · 26/05/2011 00:59

Meh! I've gotten over the extreme tiredness & not being able to keep eyes open past 10pm & am back to being awake until 2-3am. Bloody brill, good training for feeding though!
Is a lack of sleep massively bad during pregnancy or is it just the exhaustion/stress I should worry about (before pregnancy I've been an insomniac my entire life)

mopsytop · 26/05/2011 15:17

So so tired today, falling asleep at my desk! Just want to go home and curl up in bed. Is lashing rain though so I can't. Prob a good thing.

Candy I think wakefullness can be quite common in pregnancy. If you are really tired I think you should try and sleep, get early nights etc. but if not, I don't see why there should be a problem. So long as you are resting enough.

I want my bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alas not good news here I'm afraid...another MMC Sad as soon as she started scanning I knew something was wrong and then she asked if I was sure of my dates (which I am) then said she needed to do an internal scan to check more detail. There was a sac which measure ok for 5-6 weeks but not the 11-12 I should be, there was also nothing in the sac (which at 5-6 weeks there should be). The staff were really lovely and chatted us through the options, for the moment we're going to wait and see if my body can deal with it naturally. I have another scan booked for 6th June to check progress but may need to have medical procedure if it's not come out naturally by then. Feeling quite numb about it all tbh. I've had a weird bad feeling about it all for the last week so in a strange sense there wasn't too much surprise.

mopsytop · 26/05/2011 15:25

Oh no BlueCrane so so sorry to hear that. Are you okay? Do you have someone to be with right now? I am really sorry. I wish I could think of something more comforting to say.

BlueCrane · 26/05/2011 15:30

Thanks mopsy thankfully DH and I had both booked the day off so he's here with me. We've been out for lunch and now taking things easy at home this afternoon. I hardly slept last night so am pretty tired and might have a nap soon. Guess I just always thought everything would be finr if there was no bleeding or cramps...a reminder of how fragile the whole process is.

mopsytop · 26/05/2011 15:31

Oh I am glad your husband is there. What a horrible thing to have to go through. Just when it was going to be an exciting time, it's an upsetting one. I will be thinking of you this afternoon. I am really so sorry to hear your news.

KellyCZ · 26/05/2011 20:00

I'm so sorry to hear your news BlueCrane. You sound as if you are handling it well. You just have to think that this one wasn't quite strong enough to make it into the world but it certainly doesn't mean the next time he/she won't be. I'm sure that during the last couple of months you've learnt a lot about yourself, your relationship and your life - and now you'll be all the more experienced, equipped and strong to take your next steps :-)

BluebellsintheSpring · 26/05/2011 20:55

BlueCrane - so very sorry. Hope you and DH are hanging in there

ElleEW34 · 26/05/2011 22:22

Bluecrane, I'm sorry to hear about your, and your DH's loss.
I hope the next few weeks are not too straining/stressful on you & your body. Good luck for when you start TTC again. xx

Hi Kim, welcome. Afraid i don't have any top tips re hair but try not to worry too much as are hormones are all over the place at the mo and this can play havoc with our hair and skin.
