I love Hugh and Patrick too.

Enid, I overheard a priceless convo on the bus last year.

Mum 1: Well she had her baby and she gave it a really weird old-fashioned name...DAVID.

Mum 2: Whatever for?

My first boyf was a David and very cute too.

Stig is a 'proper' name in Norway.

Zephyrrywitchescat · 28/10/2005 13:15

Honestly! It's the name of a road where my mum lives as well as it was built on a ww2 airfield. His dad is army but has a thing with planes - or he is actually an raf pilot, can't remember!

Horatio. He's not Mexican, though - in fact I think the latino bloke is called Eric or something equally unlikely (although think Eric Estrada).

Munz, did your DH really not know Joseph was a Bible name? Really? Really really?

As for unusual but traditional names...can only think of DS's and that's not going on MN, I'm afraid Having a similar struggle ourselves with boys' names! Good luck!

munz · 28/10/2005 13:20

lol - thanks HP - obviously he knew joesph was (which is why he's put hmmmmm next to it) but he really likes joshua which tbh I didn't realise was a biblical name.
