any ideas?

I like unusual/less common - u're kai's and korbins and such (zachary as well)

DH likes ur traditionals/more common - Joesph, Jack, Joshua etc.

and we're struggaling to find a common ground. can anyone help?

Horace is great!
I met a Monty in the park the other day. I asked the mum if it was short for anything but it wasn't. I quite like that too.

I know two boys called Roman, which I love.

Someone said Hugh - that's nice too and not so posh. I know a 12-yr-old Hugh, and he is pretty much the kind of boy you'd specify if you could - bright, musical, athletic and extremely pleasant.
