Will anyone join a new baby bus with me?

I just got a BFP this morning so its very early days for me, but I'm so excited I thought what the hell, I'll head straight for the pregnancy thread anyway Grin

If all goes according to plan this will be DC2 and due on 2nd October. Ive enjoyed being on the October TTC bus so I thought it would be fun to continue over here.

Oh Linda. How awful. I'm so sorry to hear it. Good luck trying again and take care. x x

rebelwithoutababy · 16/02/2011 17:19

Linda so sorry to hear your news. Thoughts are with you and your family.

EdwardorEricCantdecide · 16/02/2011 18:17

So sorry Linda
Hope you have people to take care of you. ((hugs))

EdwardorEricCantdecide · 16/02/2011 18:19

I got my booking app sorted today 15th march :-)

How's every1 feeling? I've still not had any morning sickness starting to worry about lack of symptoms.

monkeybubbles · 16/02/2011 18:22

Linda so sorry to hear, take care of yourself

MummyBerryJuice · 16/02/2011 19:03

EdwardorEric. I had very few symptoms with DS, just extreme exhaustion and a strange fondness for devilled eggs.

Penelope1980 · 16/02/2011 19:06

linda so sorry to hear that. It always makes me feel sad and worried when someone has to get off the bus.

Do any of you have days when you don't feel pregnant? Like, you're usually sick, then some days feel normal? I know I should enjoy it but it always leaves me a teeny bit worried.

snowpeas · 16/02/2011 19:38

So sorry Lynda take care xx

Liabella · 16/02/2011 19:59

I'm so sorry Linda.

EdwardorEric - I feel exactly the same. If it wasn't for the fact I missed a period and had two positive pregnancy tests, I wouldn't have any idea I was pregnant. I'm almost willing morning sickness to appear - I spend a couple of moments every morning checking if I am feeling sick, but there's nothing. My mum said my grandma felt healthier when pregnant than when not and since I have quite a dodgy digestive system like her most of the time, maybe I'll find pregnancy 'suits' me too. Just worried it's a negative sign.

According to online calculators, I'm due on October 17th, so maybe the symptoms will come in the next few weeks...

Iwish · 16/02/2011 20:22

Oh Linda honey I'm so sorry. Big hugs to you and your family. Look after yourself xx

sunface · 16/02/2011 20:44

Oh linda I am so sorry. Take good care of yourself and rest up as much as you can. Big hugs xx

Engelsmeisje · 16/02/2011 21:05

so sorry linda

I feel exactly the same Liabella. Apart from being pretty short-tempered I really don't feel any different! Maybe we're just lucky....reckon I'm due the same day as you!

knittymum · 16/02/2011 21:42

Linda I'm so sorry for your loss. xxx

hotnspicyonions · 16/02/2011 22:44

So sorry to hear of your news Linda, made me cry even though I've only just joined the thread. Bloody hormones!!

EdwardorEric and Liabella I had no syptoms that I can remember during my first PG. Not sure if it was because I was a holiday rep in Crete at the time (just thought it was a hangover) or I just didn't get any. Hence why I didn't find out til I was 4 months Blush Hmm Shock!
And so far this time I just feel sick especially when I smell the cat food first thing in the morning. Only time will tell ladies Smile

hotnspicyonions · 16/02/2011 22:54

Could do with another bag of Scratchins Grin, I'm bloomin starving. Must stop using PG as excuse to stuff whatever I like, tut tut Wink

apples82 · 17/02/2011 08:02

Linda my heart goes out to you. Stay well and good luck with everything Smile xx

monkeybubbles · 17/02/2011 09:21

anyone else have an overprotective hubby? he was at the shops last night and i asked him to pick up haagen dazs ice cream, and he came home with none because it listed 'egg yolk' as an ingredient and he wasn't sure if it was cooked or not Hmm

not to worry, i've googled it and all haagen dazs is made with pasteurized eggs, but it was a worry for a minute!

all i want to eat is junk food!

rebelwithoutababy · 17/02/2011 10:06

Think my DH is just worried about how he will survive 9 months of my tiredness/nausea/ridiculously painful boobs! Have tried to reassure him the first 12 weeks are the worst! I agree with the worry on the days I feel okay though: although they are becoming fewer and fewer...I decided this morning I am going to try to stop moaning about it, as I am so grateful to be pg...not sure how long that will last! Wink

apples82 · 17/02/2011 10:39

I'm with you rebelwithoutababy, the sore boobs and nausea are a nag, but we tried so hard to get pregnant that I feel I shouldn't really be moaning about these things are they're par for the course.

Crawling · 17/02/2011 10:47

So sorry to hear that Linda Sad

My DP wants me to go to doctors, I have been in agony every night with my stomach and last night I spent all night being sick and have thrown my stomach lining up Sad but even after that I was still trying to be sick.

Dorothee · 17/02/2011 10:54

Hello everyone,
I am new to this, and to pregnancy / children. My baby is due in early/mid october, and I am very happy, though totally sleepy, cold and forever hungry / sick

Crawling: sorry you are so sick! Go to your Dr and get some help!! Congratulations Dorothee and all the newbies on this thread!

sunface · 17/02/2011 11:14

oh crawling how awful :( hope the doctor manages to give you something to help it. you'll hate me for saying it, but i've only really had slight feelings of nausea but not been properly sick at all... sorry.

Hope everyone else doing ok today?

mpops · 17/02/2011 11:20
