I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with DC2. I am really pleased as we only started trying on Christmas Eve so I am only about four weeks pregnant.

I have told my best friend but I think DP and I will wait to tell family and friends until after the scan. Anyone else due in September and fancy a chat?

Anyone else currently breech, know there's loads of time for them to turn round but blimey it's more achy than dd was. Everything seems to be very high up. Was also strange as think he had hiccups yesterday, I never felt it with dd but freaked dh out a bit.

Had horrible tummy ache yesterday hoping it doing carry on today.

And my last day at work tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

PrincessScrumpy · 18/07/2011 16:19

Twin one is breach and her feet are in the way so twin 2 can't her head down. Having kicks on the inside of your cervix is wierd!

Valiant1 · 19/07/2011 09:07

Hello everyone.
Just had my 30 week appointment yesterday and the consultant wrote 'C'.

Forgot to ask what it meant. Does anyone know what it may mean?
Thank you!

lolajane2009 · 19/07/2011 18:12

according to notes to notes C= Cephalic (head down)

Anyone else have a baby that hardly sleeps?

firsttimer84 · 19/07/2011 18:32

Mine sleeps a lot usually but he's been awake a lot today. Not sure if that's good or bad!

Eifos21 · 19/07/2011 18:58

Thank you Lolajane. Smile

candr · 19/07/2011 19:01

Baby not sleeping or letting me sleep. Have been told by many people to try and turn him soon as it gets painful if you leave it to long due to lack of room but mine seems to be on the move constantly, never in the same position for long so not sure what to do about that.

lolajane2009 · 19/07/2011 19:13

I have to admit i was too amused by my DC a few days ago when I had the migraine from hell and he wouldn't let me sleep. Thankfully it has cleared now but at the time I was in agony.

summerpixie · 19/07/2011 19:52

2 more days of work although I am mega p'd off with my HOD. He thought it would be wise to give me a new scheme of work to write over the summer hols whilst the others leaving would not have to do anything! One of my colleagues took the work off me to do. I wouldn't have minded doing it if EVERYONE was getting the same amount to do, afterall we all get paid until the end of August.
Anyway, I had my 32 week growth scan today and instead of being the previously suspected 'small', baby is actually 'chubby' as the sonographer put it. My GTT came back fine so GD can't be the problem. DS has a big head and this one seems to be in the same sort of range! I am now dreading the push.

Valiant1 · 20/07/2011 21:38

had a woman in the playground ask how many weeks i was today. she is huge and as we never normal speak i thought she only had a few weeks left turns out she due the same week as me !!!!!!! she thought i was only 15 weeks!! :( at x-mas i was 19 st and took at a squeeze a size 24, now i wieght 16 and a half and am still in a size 24 but not wearing maternity have bought some leggings and thats it. i was told my baby was 2lb,11 at my scan on Thursday and am really worrid now that i am too small my dd teacher was in shock when i said nearly there only 10 weeks left she actually said but you have lost sooo much weight!!! i am just feel like i failing some how that i not growing her correctly... i know its daft and the rational side of my brain is saying get a grip woman! but then i think but i was big with my others. I know she is healthy and she is always moving sorry ladies moan over x

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 21/07/2011 07:51

Valiant1 honestly do not worry, as long as the mw is happy it's not a problem. I don't put any weight on, I stay the same so am actually losing weight in stead of putting it on each week. I did ask the mw the first time I was pg and she reied by asking if I wanted to put weight on!

CrazyAlien06 · 21/07/2011 12:00

Try not to worry valiant.
I've put on nearly two stone :( luckily it's all bump! Already thinking about how to get it off.
Can't believe it's approx 10 weeks to go!! I'm still trying to get all my junk sorted! Taking ages and I'm shattered after my morning dog walks! Housework is also exhausting but I shall get it done lol.

PrincessScrumpy · 21/07/2011 13:22

Valiant - honestly everyone carries babies differently. I just get laughs when I say I'm 31w. The girls are 2lb 13oz each - I've put on 3 stone and my thighs are a bit wider, but my tummy is so firm and all out front - my fundus is measuring more than full term so not surprising I'm shattered! They will be born at 37w unless they come earlier. I would quite like to get to 34w but after that I think I'll be done. Girls might have other ideas.

I was in hospital last night - urine infection got my contractions started but cervix is closed, so all is good. I have been given steroid injections just in case the twins are early so that's quite reassuring.

DD is in nursery until 3pm today and I am putting off dusting my bedroom and cleaning the bathroom - oh well best log off...

Valiant1 · 21/07/2011 16:21

hi all midwife seems happy just me been a worry wart :) i have been the dr today feel like i have a urine infection but nothing showing up dr said it could just be baby she is still breech and kicking my bladder! have to keep stopping and catching my breath it hurts so much. Princess keep your feet up you were in hospital last night have a rest xx i will come polish for you xx my ds asked me if we could go to Exmouth today and go on the boat! told him it may take a while lol (we are in stoke on trent) xx

PrincessScrumpy · 21/07/2011 21:41

Lol Valiant, dd keeps asking if we can go to Legoland as if it's just down the road. We get invited to Alton Towers every year for Halloween through dh's job. We still want to go this year even if dh takes dd to the park and I stay in the room with twins most of the time, but I think we might be being a bit niaive!!!

dd helped with the dusting, tomorrow morning dd has her last morning at nursery for the summer so I'll pack then she has a party where all I'll have to do is sit. In laws arrive in the evening and we head to Cornwall for a week at lunch time on Saturday where I'll theoretically get a week of resting and sleeping with 3 other adults to care for dd. dh is planning to stay and keep me company and pil will take dd out on day trips. I've signed up to the Eden Project day trip but that is it! I will rest or dh will be firm with me. Bless him.

candr · 22/07/2011 16:56

Well done to all those teachers that made it through last day today. Was a bit choked up at leavers service. Feel soooo spoilt with all the lovely baby gifts I got from parents and staff plus some vouchers which is brill. Have school fair tommorow which helps as will see lots of kids then and will be so busy will try not to ave time to feel sad at saying goodbye but there are some truly lovely children and parents I will miss loads. Baby is turning lots and had really bad cramps which I was told may be Braxton Hicks? Kind of hope he will stay head down soon but now I have time to crawl round on all fours and roll around on ball which may help. Woke up this morning with his head sticking out so much I had a real cone tummy which looked freaky. Am not even thinking about days out with baby yet but look forward to showing him off and class desperate to meet him but prob not till start of Oct since due late Sep.

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 22/07/2011 17:00

Princess very Envy @ Cornwall!

lolajane2009 · 22/07/2011 18:40

Been to the hospital today after measuring the same fundal height as 28 weeks yesterday. Having the day from hell s been told i have placenta previa, so looks like this will be a c- section and prob august, possible pre eclampsia and baby is measuring just above the tenth percentile. baby was being as active and awkward as normal and decided to wrap himself up like a rugby ball during the scan. Not a great day tbh.

Gotta have another scan in two weeks and blood tests this week and next week.

Lollyheart · 22/07/2011 20:23

Found you again Smile

My brother and sil had a baby boy today, their first boy after 3 girls, he looked so tiny, I don't remember mine being that small but my biggest was a whole pound smaller.

I'm always being told how tiny I look, but baby measuring right for dates.

2 more weeks at work yay, I can't wait Grin

I need to hurry up and start buying stuff, I have nothing apart from a pram.

I can't never tell which way baby is lying but it was head down at my 28 week scan, my bump has dropped so I guess it's still head down.

Enjoy your holiday princess Smile

Lollyheart · 22/07/2011 20:26

It must be worrying Lola will the placenta not move up now? I think thats what pp is, where its low down? Is that right?

lolajane2009 · 22/07/2011 23:16

yeah, low placenta, unlikely to move now at 32 weeks.

Scheherezadea · 23/07/2011 01:42
