I've started getting a really tight bump...very disconcerting. I'm assuming it's just normal Braxton-Hicks though... wouldn't you think?

agata81 · 29/03/2011 20:25

Hello ladies,

I am due on the 6th of July. This is our first baby. It's a boy!!! So excited about the whole pregnancy thing lol

Is anyone else due on the 6th? :)

thehiddenpaw · 11/04/2011 13:27

I have had to hunt this thread down = where are all those July moms gone? Welcome agata81. I am 13th July but think there are lots of moms to be on here so someone due around then. My bump has finally shown up at 27 weeks. I am still not in maternity wear as going for the really fat side of my wardrobe first. Still having to announce I am pregnant as am in that, 'is she fat stage'. Baby lovely and active. Enjoying the speculation of sex as have no idea and don't care.
suffered a really bad back. Has anyone else had sciatica problems as I think that is what I have. not been running now for 3 weeks with my soreness so think that is the end of the running

tea4tw0 · 30/04/2011 22:09

Hi Ladies
It's been a while (and for many of us by the looks of things)
Well i had a 3D scan the other week - only one word to describe a-maz-ing.
Just 10 weeks left now for me - no Braxton Hicks yet, but grateful hubby has finally got the cavalry in to do the many jobs around the house that need doing before d-day. Hope everyone else is ticketyboo.

JimmyChoo17 · 01/05/2011 15:02

10 weeks 6 days and counting!!! Woooohooooo! whick means 8 weeks 6 days until mat leave, happy days.

Is everyone still getting blatant kicks? My baby is back to my belly and it's all rippling movements of bottom and head....which is slightly odd and VERY visible to others!

Anyone else's skin itch when they are exercising? Used to get this sometimes pre pregnancy but is worse and less tolerable during pregnancy????

tea4tw0 · 04/05/2011 14:50

Yes i'm defo getting some serious 'duffs' feeling bruised from the inside out sometimes. But mustn't complain as it's reassuring all is well.

I leave 26th May due to loads of hols to use up but Mat Leave doesn't kick in til 4th July - assuming a certain little someone doesn't make an earlier appearance.

DH and i decided on a name last night and all of a sudden this little bump became a real little person - i feel so different today and excited too.

MummiMoMo · 04/05/2011 15:11

Hi agata81 I'm also due on 6th July. I've taken hols so am off until next year now which will be lush. Still in my PJs watching crap TV, how naughty. But hell, it's my birthday too so I'll excuse myself.
Baby is wriggling, prodding and poking the whole time which I also find reassuring. Although not when it's dancing on my bladder!!

Tealdoe · 04/05/2011 15:19

Happy birthday agata81! I'm due on 9th July and also on mat leave already. Though i'm feeling a bit bored of watching rubbishy TV today and can't go out as I'm waiting in for a delivery. Question for someone - can you tell which way baby is lying from the kicks? In the mornings I always get rapid kicks on the far left and far right of my tummy (well, I'm assuming one side is legs and the other hands?!). Then today it's been just some movements above and below tummy button. Midwife says it doesn't matter how it's lying yet but I'm curious!!

prolificwillybreeder · 04/05/2011 19:17

Hi all, I am marking my place here and will post properly later- doing bedtime currently!

Kerri1983 · 06/05/2011 12:02

Hi everyone, I am not sure if I have previously posted on this thread but I seem to find myself on mumsnet more and more these days and thought that as we are all taking those big steps into our 3rd trimester I would take the opportunity to try and get to know you all :)

I am due 12th July with my 2nd, I already have a DS1.

Hope to hear from you all, Kerri x

JimmyChoo17 · 06/05/2011 23:26

Hey kerri!

Well am pleased am 30 weeks tomorrow so can start the single figure countdown now ! :-)

Kerri1983 · 07/05/2011 09:19

I was 12 days overdue with my first so im adding 2 weeks onto my due date so as not to get my hopes up ;) x

On Tuesday I officially have 9 weeks but my brain is calculatin 11 :) x

JimmyChoo17 · 07/05/2011 23:13

Icant even think about going overdue....I'm too excited to find out what flavour this bump is! Starting to get really uncomfortable too so am dreading getting bigger in the summer!

Vix286 · 08/05/2011 17:08

Kerri1983 I am doing the same! I am 29 weeks and am still thinking 13 weeks so not to get too fed up if go overdue (this might not work I know!!)

Mat leave starts in 8 weeks as am going up to 37 weeks.

I can't believe how weird it is when I can see my stomach move of its own accord when the baby moves.

JimmyChoo17 - I saw your post about going on holiday on another thread and I am SO jealous, DH and I had a pre pg booked week in New York in February so we couldn't afford another holiday this year. New York was -6 and snowing. I am normally a sun, pool and cocktail person.............

yummymummyi · 13/05/2011 12:47

Hi ladies,

iam due july 4th with my second child and iam super duper stresses want this baby out asap.

Havent slept well and cant fit into any of my clothes, hope that i can find some support on here. Hope to hear from you ladies xxxx

JimmyChoo17 · 13/05/2011 13:24

Ah yummy mummy welcome to the group!

Sorry to hear you are feeling the rough side of pregnancy now. I'm just starting to struggle.....I am due July 16th.

I can't sleep well, I get indigestion from thin air, my bump hurts, stretch marks are appearing....but I keep chanting it will all be worth it when I meet baby! Very true but not stopping me from having a pregnancy whinge :)

Im starting to outgrow my maternity clothes but am reluctant to spend more or the last few weeks, time to rotate fewer items ;)

How is everyone else's pregnancy going?

prolificwillybreeder · 13/05/2011 15:33

Hi all. Sorry to hear we are getting uncomfy. I am too and hungry for that matter!
Jimmy- i'm not buying anymore as maternity clothes are quite expensive and coming up for 9 weeks to go I think I'm going to spend after the birth. Namely buying a post pregnancy support vest!

Having a hard day with DS today. We are refusing to nap but being rather grumpy about it.
Why he doesn't want to sit, read a magazine, eat biscuits and drink tea with mummy nice and quietly I'll never know haha Grin

Has anyone packed their bags yet? Sorry if this has already been done.
I'm definitely taking more snacks this time.

mum2b072011 · 13/05/2011 16:01

I am due July 15th, and im really starting to struggle now with all this heartburn, backache, no sleep, the list goes on!!

Why cant i be one of those ladies who loves being pregnant!!

Easy pregnancy - is there such thing??? Sorry for the moan ladies ...

Hope everyone is well :)

bumble34 · 13/05/2011 18:23

Due july 2nd only 3 weeks left at work hurrah Feeling really huge now and spd getting worse and worse, crutches and yoga not really making any difference now :-(

Baby dropped earlier this week and was soooo uncomfortable fortunately he headed up again the next day.

Not got anything organised yet and keep thinking i really should crack on!!!

Just to top it of we've just got a buyer for our house and it looks like we'll be moving very close to when this little man is due ahhhhh All this and i can't even have a gin!!!!! mad or what :-)

ShazGJ · 13/05/2011 21:38

Due 8th July so 32 weeks today yay. Felt very tight around the ribs especially at night over the last week, anyone else had this?

Also had first seepage from one boob tonight, very odd just looked down and my top was wet!

Bumble you have my sympathies I also have SPD had good day yesterday but boy am I paying for it today, in agony. We are also hoping to move before LO arrives. Very stressed about packing and being careful with the SPD.

alichicka · 19/05/2011 13:52

Does anyone know of any aquanatal classes in NW Kent Orpington/ Sevenoaks/ Bromley area? Am already on maternity leave- decided to come off as early as possible- to get myself and the house prepared- but want to do something nice and active whilst waiting for baby to appear. I can't find anything!

Also, I still seem to be relatively small, bump-wise, anyone else like that? It's weird because I actually showed form really early on (like 13 weeks), but am nowhere near as big (yet) as i remember friends being at this point (30 weeks).

EmmieJay · 10/06/2011 16:04

Due July 16th!!

Can't wait! My husband and I had two miscarriages last year and now we've made it... just a few weeks left and we'll have our baby boy!!

Gotta say though this heartburn is killing me during the day and waking me up at night... any ideas other than rennies(im topping out of them as it is!!) lol

JimmyChoo17 · 11/06/2011 07:12

Hey Emmy we are due same day, this will be my first.
I have been taking the peppermint chewable gaviscon....stick to your teeth but effective for me!

thehiddenpaw · 11/06/2011 20:11

alichaki, am 35 weeks and also small bump but expecting small baby, still wearing size 14 and 16 trousers (hipsters) and a lot of mat tops too big.
EmmyBay and JimmChoo17, am wondering if Rennies give shareholders discounts and is it worth investing .......

EmmieJay · 13/06/2011 15:25

Lol, think it could be worth it! Im going through packets!

Either of you thinking about birthing pools/balls etc? Was looking for someone elses opinion...

I love the idea of a pool but the ball seems to give me backache atm
