How long did your baby blues last? 🤔I'm 11 days in and have days we're there terrible and then days when I'm completely fine -.- (mine started day 5 so only been up and down for a couple days)

@lucy2204 oh no period cramps?

I'm feeling low today. Hate how it just catches you off guard. Luckily my husband isn't working so I've sort of shut myself away from the world.

@Lemonysherbet I'm guessing so but no period still -.- I woke up fine went to the toliet(tmi) and then the pains kicked in 😒I've taken some tablets and have a hot water on me hoping it helps :( I don't remember any of this the first 2 times around 🙄I'm meh today over thinking that's somethings wrong even tho I know it's not -.-

& yeah it's horrible that's what kept happening to me the last couple days makes you feel like it's a never ending roller-coaster 🙄

@lucy2204 maybe ring the doctors for advice? Might help to put your mind at rest? Or set a goal to call tomorrow morning if still no change?

It's very hard with the ups and downs. I had such a good day yesterday I don't want today to overshadow that

@Lemonysherbet our doctors are useless here :( they seemed to have eased a little bit now the tablets are kicking in! I have the 'feeling of coming on' if you get me.. 😏

& positive thinking!, try plan our a little mummy and daddy time later or a relaxing bath, something to look forward to 🤗xx

Good idea. I've had a bath but I'm gonna try do so e tidying to settle my mind

&cleaning really helps to take my mind of stuff or I settle with a movie an a big blanket

I'm okay the pains went away after a few hours so not sure what caused them as of yet I think it's just my body trying to prepare for my real period xx

@lucy2204 yesterday was hard, baby was grizzly and I had friends over so I felt like I spent all day trying to soothe him and didn't get to chat to them.

Woken up feeling like I don't know what I'm doing today. Do I need to entertain him 24/7? Can I leave him in his Moses basket to chill whilst I do stuff. How much time doing that is too much time. Just really doubting my capabilities today

@Lemonysherbet take a deep breath your doing great hun!,🤗 leave him in his moses basket for a bit today and get the stuff done that you need to, he'll be fine. Just keep reminding yourself how far you've come over the past couple weeks! Xx

I saw some friends and it did me so much good. I feel so happy again now. It's so up and down its mad!

@Lemonysherbet it's defo a big part of mother hood (beating ourselves up) my oldest if 4 and I still do it 😂given I've had 2 more babies since him you just seem to do it more so the more kids you have
And I'm glad your feeling better! It's a crazy time right now

I'm okay mild cramps but okay still over thinking like normal but no where near as much as normal xx

@lucy2204 hello, been really busy again but doing good thank you. The lows seem to be getting less and less frequent which is good! I've got my 8 week check next week and baby's injections.

@Lemonysherbet I'm glad your keeping busy and your days are becoming better I had a good couple of days and then yesterday was horrible non stop worrying and over thinking racing heart feeling pretty much att day till around 8pm I have my 8 week check up on the 8th August have decided I will be speaking about how I'm feeling or how I was feeling if its no better then just so it's on record I don't want medication so hoping there's something else to offer.. Or that this is just normal at this point as its not every day I just don't know 🙄 goodluck at your appointment 🤗

@lucy2204 I think that's a really good idea. There's always alternatives to medication 🥰 also look up CBT methods online, that might help you until your appointment?

@Lemonysherbet I will do, I don't think Google helps me tbh as I end up Google stuff then worry about it-.-, have my hv next week so hoping she can help etc it's literally like I have 5-6 good days then 1 horrible day -.-its draining...

@Lemonysherbet yeah hoping it goes completely soon, but still going to talk about it just incase it pops back up constantly that way il be able to get an appointment later on down the line as I'm sure appointments are going to be harder as the virus creeps back in, maybe worth bringing it up yourself just make it clear that as of now your okay (if you are next week)
