@Lemonysherbet I'm good today, Ive sorted out a fitness plan with my partner (he used to be a fitness instructor) for once I'm past the 6 weeks, he thinks I should wait till 8 weeks but will see what the doctor says, feel like it's a huge positive just feel like I need to do something other than sitting around if ya get what I mean 🤷‍♀️

@lucy2204 that's good on the fitness plan. How do you find the time to do it?

Had a lovely day, feel sad tonight though. I'm feeling sad about how much of my labour my husband missed because of stupid fucking Corona virus. It's such a wanker.

Ugh

How are you doing

lucy2204 · 09/07/2020 20:11

@Lemonysherbet my 3 year old loves fitness (watches daddy Alot) he likes football etc so is very active when it comes to exercise and my daughter (1) will just try to copy me 😂🤷‍♀️I plan to do it every day even if it's only for 30 mins, we have a dog so we are going to start going on family walks to try curb my anxiety not sure about that part yet but will give it ago! I'm over weight atm and with the virus about i thinks it's better for me to try lose some weight incase it catches me 😂🙈(not funny but if you don't laugh you'll cry)

Oh hun, I was saying this to my partner tbh all first time parents really missed out coz of this virus! :( I had 2 home births previously and my partner delivered both babies not planned but no one got to us in time and he wasn't aloud to our third as was it happened in hospital 🤷‍♀️ I honestly think there should of been something put in place for you first time parents! 😔🤗I hope you feel better soon I know it's not something you forget as every birth stays with you💐

I'm okay feeling worried tonight for no reason at all 🤷‍♀️it's coming and going in waves hoping it'll pass soon.. Xx

@lucy2204 hello, sorry been really busy. Doing ok over here, think being busy helps! And the sunshine. How are you

lucy2204 · 12/07/2020 16:47

@Lemonysherbet glad you've had a good couple days! 🤗I managed to go to town yesterday for an hour or so! Which was huge step for me as I was scared about leaving the house, I'm super anxious today tho, think it's coz I have lots of period pain with no period (yet)

OP posts:
Lemonysherbet · 12/07/2020 17:22

@lucy2204 well done on going out, did it feel good? My anxiety used to make me nervous at doing things like that. It's horrible, takes over your life. Have you tried CBT?

I've had that with the period pains, it's weird. I'm still pumping so not sure if I'll get a period... Not sure i had want them back!

lucy2204 · 12/07/2020 17:33

@Lemonysherbet it felt great, got anxious every now and then when I was out but that was only when there were a block of people standing near me and my ds1, (in queues and etc)and no I haven't my midwife/hv did say to maybe try it if I don't feel better by 6 weeks pp

And yeah they're horrible I stopped bf 4days pp as mentally it was draining with 3 little ones, so I'm sure I'm going to get one 🤣I'd love to never have one again tbh mine have always been heavy(first 3 days) and lightish the last 2 days but extremely painful 🙄9months without them were pure bliss 😂

@lucy2204 I did it a couple of years ago (sorry if I've already told you this) and it helped. My fave tips from it are when you feel super anxious to find a square, literally can be anything (e..g TV) and breathe in along the top, hold down the side, out along the bottom, hold up the side and repeat. Really helps you focus and calm down.
I also like the find 5 random things and focus on them one :)

Oh I hear you on that. I get really bad ones too, I'm dreading getting them back, was hoping they might be less hardcore post birth. My labour just felt like a baddd period for the majority of the contractions

Did you bf any of your kids? I tried with my little boy but his forcep delivery left him so bruised he couldn't latch on poor sod :(

lucy2204 · 12/07/2020 22:30

@Lemonysherbet yeah you said u done it before but didn't put in about the tip, I've screen shotted it now so I remember,

My labour was like that with my 2nd I got pains just as her head came out, my 2 sons labour was horrid 😂

And I tried with my first but he was super hungry all the time and made me bleed hv suggested stopping as he clearly wasn't getting enough kinda made me feel like I was failing so I stop and then with my 2nd my milk stopped coming in 5weeks pp 😑so I kinda did but never for long I would of loved to tbh never worked out for me 🙄this time it was going great till this shit kicked in (up and down moods panicking etc)

@lucy2204 I never realised how hard breastfeeding was!

How are you doing today?

lucy2204 · 13/07/2020 17:47

@Lemonysherbet it's so tiring 🙄it really drains you of energy!
I'm okay still a little anxious and over thinking today (about having period pains and no period yet) not even sure why as I was never nervous to come on before -.-how are you xx

OP posts:
Lemonysherbet · 13/07/2020 18:23

@lucy2204 I've had that a lot since birth, lots of phantom period pains. I've just thought each time how nice it is to not actually have a period and not given it much more thought.

I'm ok, really tired but good :)

lucy2204 · 13/07/2020 18:47

@Lemonysherbet just want the period over and done with-.- I'm glad your okay! 🤗X

How are you?

lucy2204 · 14/07/2020 23:12

@Lemonysherbet I've had a very tearful day also
An no not at all with my first I always wanted to be out the house or just generally doing something and always got upset/sad when I had nothing to do.

I'm okay just down, hoping tomorrow's a better day! I've had a good couple days /week then the past couple have been mehhh!

@lucy2204 it's horrible isn't it, when the Mood nosedives. But at least it's getting less frequent. I feel like we're going in the right direction 😁
