fidelma · 27/01/2011 13:38

unless you want to be putting them back to bed 100 x a night I would keep them in the cot until they are 3!!!!!

dd1 was climbing out of her cot at 18months so had to put her into a bed but it was a hard slog.At least if they are in a cot you know where they are.Connor will be in a sleeping bag in his cot for at least another year LOL

He is a little better today.I was only up 3 times last night.x

littlepea72 · 27/01/2011 15:40

LOL....staying in her cot it is then! She cant stand up yet, so i may have a bit of time on my side!

She was up from 9pm-11.30pm last night, but slept the rest, thank goodness!

fidelma · 28/01/2011 15:39

FRIDAY NOt sure whether that is good or bad any more!

fidelma · 31/01/2011 21:30

Monday night anyone out there?

littlepea72 · 01/02/2011 09:39

Everyone has gone AWOL!! lol

HumphreysCorner · 01/02/2011 18:47

I am here everyone but doesn't the time fly. Have been talking to other mums at school and it would seem that all of their children dress and undress themselves and wash their hand and face in the morning and clean their teeth so my girls are in for a shock. Matthew is the only one I am going to be dressing!

Matthew is walking all the time, almost running and he looks so proud. Smile The baby days are truly gone and after watching One Born Every Minute I am awaiting DH's decision as to whether he will agree to baby No4.

Can smell M's nappy so better go. BTW he is still waking 3 times a night

Big wave!

HC I need to stop myself watching One Born as it drives me crazy lol.Still have Mondays to watch.Looking forward to a big cry!

Tom aged 5 finds it quite hard to get into his school uniform.Shirt, tie, long socks (and he would rather stay at home)Girls get themselves ready and have to pack their bags.(scrubb all floors! as if!!!!!)

All go on the house front. we will have to move out in about 12 weeks(aughhhhhhh)

HumphreysCorner · 02/02/2011 18:34

fidelma, that's not long away.

Matthew woke 4 times last night, when will it end............

Bought myself some new trendy boots today but my mum isn't keen. I want to look cool! Grin

The girls got dressed this morning so we arrived on time for school Emma has a hearing test at the hospital tomorrow so wonder how that will go. DH is away tomorrow overnight so on my own with the darling children and I want more................

Hope all OK.

HC teeth? Connor has been poorly this last week so I have also been on the night shift.I found it really hard.I guess the now 11 years of sleep deprevation are taking their toll.

Lovin I want more lol. I have so been there, keep me postedWink

Scout19075 · 02/02/2011 20:42

More and more it sounds like I'll be the only one with one. I am probably about 95% comfortable with that decision and am focusing on enjoying S and the family the three of us make.

Still no regular walking but lots of series of steps. He realizes he's doing it then "panics" and goes like a madman on his knees. Not worried and know he will do it when he's ready/meant to. And still only have four teeth (front four) but think the fangs are just about in, if not through already (I've learned I can't get my fingers anywhere near S's mouth just before and just after a tooth appears).

Have my monthly clinic appointment this week. Really hoping I haven't lost any more weight. Having another viral load test this month as well. Hoping to have good news like last time. I am, approximately, half way through (48 week treatment and think I'm at week 26 -- I've lost count).

WAVES to everyone and passes around a steaming mug of hot chocolate and a slice of cake.

HappyTangerine · 02/02/2011 21:18

I'm here-have been ill with chest infection after picking up Joe's cold last week so haven't done much. Caved in and went to doctors today.Thought they'd say cold/virus but gp thought pneumonia at first and I had a row for not coming in earlier. Oops. Now on 10 tablets a day for the next week-ugh. Bloody asthma. I thought I was asthma wheezy last week but I'm not, it's my chest rattling loudly when I breathe. Most disconcerting. Felt like a v bad mum today as we didn't really go out and watched far too much cBeebies (Thank you God for Waybuloo and my taped episodes of 3rd and Bird). Cough is soooo bad when I go outside that I cough myself sick so if you have any tips on entertaining a very active boy at home, please share!

Teething Joseph bit my arm today in temper. I screamed so hopefully that will be the last time he does that. Fangs now through and one upper molar. I really can't wait for terthing to be over!

littlepea Your tales of your ds have made me feel SO much better, thanks a million. I laughed so much at him climbing up the wallGrin.

HC The night wakings are so hard aren't they? Teeth have got a lot to answer for. Loving the boots Smile If they make you feel good, wear them wit pride. Good luck for hearing text tomorrow.

fidelma Wow, not long until you move. Think of how fab the house will be when you get back.

Scout Congratulations on making it to the half way point of your treatment! Fingers crossed your weight has stabilised. You might not be the only one with one-I have moments where I think I can't do this again. Then I get all broody...We'll see what nature brings I guess. Certainly not at the moment, my health is rubbish (apparently extended bf has banjaxed it).

Waves to Iggly,Calyspo, Mel and lurkers. Am off to bed x

fidelma · 02/02/2011 22:29

I must be a clapped out old salmon I have been pregnant or breast feeding for 10 years!!!!Shock

Scout you are doing so well.i am an only one and have loved itWink

HT I hope you get better soon.We also love cbeebiesGrin(lots of little bags or tupperware boxes filled with odd objects, clothes peg, bottle, etc.etc should keep him interested for about 5 seconds!)

Oh and yes to the hot chocolate and cake. x

fidelma · 02/02/2011 22:32

HT failing that I once made a very hard crispy cake for dd1s birthday.Made with melted chocolate and cornflakes only.Well it kept dd2 aged about 16 months quiet for about 40 mins LOL Wink
(I can make cakes but always muck up with the crispy cakes)

HumphreysCorner · 03/02/2011 22:09

Hey all

HT-hope things improve for you.

Scout-enjoy Seb and don't worry about my baby obsession. Blush

DD1 passed her hearing test with flying colours which is fab news.

Matthew is wheezing today so must have a sore chest which may explain some of the night wakings. His nappy was explosive and he does have about 6 teeth coming through.

Goodnight all.

Hi all :)
I'm heeerrrrrreeeee!!!!

:) :)

Really sorry I've been gone for sooo long. Dh usually has the laptop and I have my iphone but it's not too easy to mn on it.
Also F attacks the laptop if I ever dare to go on it in the day!

I hope you're all ok :)

Here's a recap with us.
F has 10 teeth and a gorge smile. He is walking and has shoes :) He started walking just before christmas at almost 14m.
He was ill for christmas. Threw up 3 times at 3 am. .....Hmm
The he was floppy on xmas and boxing day, ate nothing atall :( Then was sick boxing day night.. so was dh. Then the rest of the extended family were sick! Not me or dd and ds1 though !

He still wakes in the night for bf. sometimes once. usually more.
I am hoping it will end soon!!! .....!

He sleeps in a grobag with a fleecy sleepsuit on. no pillow. In a cot. He will be for a long while yet....ages!. In our room, next to my bed,

Food. He is doing well. LOves spag bol, shepards pie, sausages, curry and rice, peas, sweetcorn, carrots. :) Fruit, those baby crisps made by Goodies. Biscuits!

He is in the middle of tests for his intolerances. Has had a blood test for coaliac (sp) and is having skin prick tests for loads of other things next week. Then we get the results.
During the blood test we discovered he is allergic to the numbing emla cream and plasters... Hmm great!

He is still wheezy and at christmas he had antib's for a chest infection. :(

Errrm what else. Hair. It's very mullety but I can't/won't cut it!!!

Modelling. He's in the Littlewoods cat again. Wearing a tasteful Addidas tracksuit!
www.littlewoods.com/adidas-tri-colour-tracksuit/824586630.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f20633%2c2250%2c5620&trail=2249-2250-20633-5620&prdToken=/p/prod6038184-sku9311652 and also the Tommy Hillfiger one is still in there. In the sale! www.littlewoods.com/hilfiger-denim-baby-boy-2-piece-set/779738556.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f2250%2c5615&trail=5615-2249-2250&prdToken=/p/prod6219952-sku9941950

:) :) Clarks comes out soon hopefully.

Ds1 and dd are good. I am trying really hard to be ontime for school. It is a real job to get all 3 there before the bell especially on the mornings I wash my hair!

I wont go AWOL for as long next time :)

fidelma · 04/02/2011 12:58

Hi Princess great to hear from you Wink

HumphreysCorner · 06/02/2011 18:20

Oh Lordy, Amanda Holden has lost her baby boy at 7 months. Sad Sad

fidelma · 06/02/2011 22:11

I could cry.Poor Amanda sad

littlepea72 · 08/02/2011 07:29

I didnt know until I came on....that poor poor woman Sad it scares the hell out of me.

Im 27 weeks now and getting big (but the above is a worry!) and now on crutches. Had to go to the hospital to see someone about the pain in my back etc, turns out the baby is so big, he is pulling downwards at the front, and my back cant cope. I got stuck in ADSA 2 weeks ago, i had Faith in the tolley and I couldnt walk lol...so now on crutches & a double support belt. Not allow to do anything! Mum & dad took Faith for a couple of days as the pain has been so bad, so I decided to go to ADSA to get a few things, worse thing ive ever done! Half way round I felt the pain, then the sickness then everything started going black. Knew i had to get upstairs to the loo, but it took a while, i even had to kneal down on the ground....lovely people just looked at me like i had 2 heads! Got myself upstairs and sat down for 10 minutes, couldnt believe the colour of my face, it was a chalky grey! Never will i do it again!! I have learnt my lesson and will not go out on my own again. This baby is just[s soooo big! And they said it is back to back (will have to look it up as im not sure what that means) but they will take me in from 34 weeks onwards Shock

Then I went to the diabetic clinic, they know how scared I am about injecting myself, so they have doubled my metformin to 2000mg a day....only a matter of time before the needles are being used.

Good news....DH is home on Friday for a week!!! Then he is back in March for 3 weeks, then moves to Preston for 6 months, so he is getting closer to home Smile

HT hope you are feeling better. How is Joe getting on???

HC Faiths nappies are bad too when the teeth are appearing....yuk! lol

Scout glad you getting through the treatment, how are you feeling??

Fidelma when do you move????

Iggly how is work????

Mel glad to hear from you!!!!

Hi to anyone else Grin

HumphreysCorner · 08/02/2011 10:29

Hi littlepea, try not to worry. I am sorry that things are so tough at the moment. The reason your back pain is so bad is due to him being OP (back to back) which means he has his spine touching your back but it should be touching either your tummy or your left or right side. You need to try and turn him and the way you do this is to get on your hands and knees as much as possible but due to your predicament I don't know how likely this is. Your back would improve so much if he moves. 27 weeks eh? Smile

Have now lost 7lb so will pass a stick of celery round as cake is a no no. Grin

Big wave!

littlepea72 · 08/02/2011 11:19

Think I know when he is in that position Sad as back is soooo sore & I find it hard to breath....but he is like this 6 out of 7 days, so it must be his favorite place! lol....oh well....

Well done on weight lose!!! You must be passing it to me as ive put it on lol

HappyTangerine · 08/02/2011 23:11

littlepea Big un-MN hug, you sound like you have it tough at the moment. Joe was back to back and I managed to turn him with the help of the Spinning Babies website. My most successful position was feet on the sofa, hands on the floor in a half press up type thing. Oh and I did lots of upside down tumble oversGrin in the pool. Before that I was in agony with my left leg and almost wound up on crutches for SPD. Yay for your dh coming home. His new posting is ony a few miles away from me here oop North.

HC Great news about your DD's hearing test. How is Matthew with the teeth now? Well done on the weight loss, you are inspiring me to get my backside in gear.

fidelma How is the packing going?

Mel Great to hear from you!Loved the pics

Joe is teething hard, the incisors are now through and half of one molar. He is very cingested, wakes up screaming in the night unless on me and b-feeding like a newborn. I thought he may have sleep apnea as e does these 5 second pauses in his breathing but have been reassured that it's probably duie to the bunged up nose. We are co-sleeping again. ConfusedI have a bleb on his favourite side from all the feeding! His mood outside has improved massively since we ditched the buggy and walk everywhere. And it wears him out!GrinGrinHe's really into going up and down little hills at the moment and rearranging the fridge. Hmm

I'm still ill with the chest infection, it's going to sound like a giant moan if I go on into details about it so I won't. I'm up most of the night and sleep then from 6am-10am while dh has Joe, it's the only time I stop coughing. Feel like a bit of a rubbish mum for not doing so much with Joe but am managing a few groups and a daily walk to the shops then one hour walk around the park(up and down the grass verges/hills!) So slow progress but progress nonetheless. Smile

Waves to Scout Iggly Calyspo and anyone I've forgotten

HappyTangerine · 08/02/2011 23:12

congested not cingested Hmm

fidelma · 10/02/2011 22:15

Connor's latest word Macapaca!!!!Hmm

littlepea72 · 11/02/2011 20:31

DH is on the plane home!!!!! Grin
