DS is watching tv and just started saying 'quack quack quack'. I didn't see what he saw so i asked 'was that a duck?' and he replied in a very droll way...' noooooo' He may as well as rolled his eyes at me!
TS we've got sliding doors from our living room to dining room and i walked into them last week. i can't even blame someone else for closing the door because i did it on the way out. it wouldn't have been so bad if DH,mil and pil weren't all sitting on the sofa watching me does that make you feel a little better? Seriously, these things happen, don't worry about it

fil recently admitted to me that he didn't know the difference between 'effect' and 'affect'. After half an hour of trying to explain (along with mil and DH) we gave up and decided if he hasn't got it by now (at the ripe old age of 50 odd) that he's never going to get it!
