oopsandbabycoconut · 17/06/2010 18:32

have been inspired by Dizzy and am making choc/raspberry cupcakes for post BBQ pud tonight.

MrsMiamla · 17/06/2010 18:39

great news buckets

CaptainCaveman · 17/06/2010 18:41

good news buckets , am chuffed for you

lwfh it must have been your ds having testicle op? see last nights post addressed to spring

Saw my tutor today who says I have passed my research proposal, but he couldn't remember the mark so I have to wait some more time to find out. All good anyway.

cyteen loving the ring news , how long til the big day?

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 19:23

Buckets - thats BRILLIANT news will need to bend your ear about the self employed bit as I am clueless

Cece - great news about the pass

Miamla {{hugs}} again just because

DH passed his exams too, thank feck. More online cakey bakeage and I think I might just have got it sussed now. It's only taken me weeks of trying and copious amounts of Red's patience, shall await her approval/remarks later before I reveal it to you all

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 19:29

oh and Miamla - I know someone who is quite fond of the ole baby naming

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 19:51

Sazz, you're needed over here my love

TwilightSurfer · 17/06/2010 20:03

LOL! Dizzy you have Sazz pegged!

hi.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 20:06

I have done my duty to cheese

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 20:15

Well done on the job Buckets, sounds just brilliant, and well done for getting set up so quickly. Just don't forget to siphon off some money for tax/NI. If you then don't end up paying much due to allowances/deductions/expenses etc, then you will have a nice little savings pot to treat yourself from

Someone asked about rings - I have my engagement and wedding ring and then DH bought me a pink sapphire rock after i had DD1. He thought i would have it set as a necklace, but i tend to wear chunkier necklaces so i asked for it to be set as a ring instead. I then asked for 8 diamonds after DD2 was born to set it with to ensure it was displayed to best advantage

dizz very intrigued & excited about cakey surprise

Congrats to cece on passing. for not knowing the result though . Will this lead to anything more workwise, or just for you?

. Hope that makes you feel a little better

Lovely day here, delicious lunch in the sunshine sans DC but avec fab food, cold vino and lovely company & conversation.

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 20:21

tis not a surprise, just a new and (hopefully) improved blog

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 20:27

Tis very exciting nonetheless. Pack it in with the .

Right, DH wants to tinker with my computer so I may be gone a while. Sadly i do not believe it is a euphemism

oopsandbabycoconut · 17/06/2010 20:31

am hiding from ils feeding DD2 whilst everyone else eats my lovely BBQ dinner She is strangely hungry right now

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 21:04

oh come on, I'm actually here tonight and you're all off being busy!!!

cyteen · 17/06/2010 21:11

lol oops So handy, those endless newborn feeds.

Buckets and cece massive well dones to both of you dizzy too. Look how well we are all doing

Crispy your day sounds most -worthy. I also admire your instincts re. fine sparklers Please don't talk about cheese though, I'm still reeling from the horror of discussing maggoty cheese on the brie/bug thread [shriek]

Miamla hope things are on the up again now. I had certainly missed you so am pleased to hear you feel better, although wish you hadn't had to, iyswim.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 21:13

I'm Baaaaaack.........

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 21:18

am drowning under interwebby stuff as I'm clueless - I imagine paperwork to follow though

2 of the pearl jam tickets have been sold to a lad I was at uni with who was brilliant and I'd love to go to the concert with him too

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 21:22

Ewwww on the maggoty cheese. Shall steer clear of that one!

Has your flight swap worked dizz? Oh and loving the fact that it is MidiDixie who gets to accompany DH

We now have synchronised calendars on the 3 computers in the house and DH's i-phone. All rock n roll here

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 21:28

no, flight swap is £145 ffs - £30 each way plus the difference in fares

oooh, I like the sound of synchronised calendars clever Dave. How is his leg?

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 21:32

LOL, he has spent 3 days trying to do it and much swearing . He has triumphed as always though

Leg redressed this morning. Still giving him jip, but then hardly surprising

GGGrrrrr for flight robbers . Are you all staying at home then?

MrsMiamla · 17/06/2010 21:45

thanks for all your lovely hugs, hot chocie and being whirled round the room. Knew I shouldn't have stayed away, I've missed you all!

we use google calendars in the mr and mrs miamla household. basically (according to mr M) if its not on the calendar, its not happening This means that because i usually forget to put my things on that he tries to get out of them!

RedLentil · 17/06/2010 21:45

Off to catch up. My kitchen is gone ...
Dizzy, call if you need any help at all as I've got jobs here that need avoiding.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/06/2010 21:49

Miamla Our outlook calendars are apparently synchronised through a Google calendar

Is it takeaway time in RedLand?

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 21:54

sazz, DH is cited for court on Thurs so if they hurry the feck up and excuse him he may still go, he'll be taking at least one of them though, am not coping with all 3 I have told him to shamlelessy mention it to the PIL, we were supposed to be staying in a hotel PIL free, to see if they'll sponsor the flight for DD2 but its a touch cheeky

must have a look at these google calendars as my word table isn't cutting it anymore and the complications attached with opposite shifts and 3 kids is beyond the normal parameters of my memory

dizzydixies · 17/06/2010 21:55

Miamla - I just missed you, was in loo!!

oopsandbabycoconut · 17/06/2010 22:02

Finally everyone has gone. DD2 fed 4 times since 7 . Choccie cakes were delish with choco glaze and served warm with a leetle vanilla ice cream. Calendars?? what are those?? I use my phone to tell me when I should be doing things.

Dizz - Am I losing my mind? I thought the blog had changed and had new piccies but just looked and it's blue again.

Hi everyone else
