Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

i agree... I want to hear everything about DD2 oops!!! I'm making notes and will definitely be picking your brain in a couple of months! Although the chances of me baking when DD is only a few days old is very very remote!

pert definitely woo woo! When we offered on our house, we had a first time buyer all lined up. The next day, she pulled out so for a whole 12hours we had a complete chain, we erm forgot to mention it to our seller and erm kind of well erm blagged it for a few months little while until eventually another buyer turned up! In fact I think a second person pulled out as well but we got there in the end!

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:00

sorry pert! hope you're not on a work laptop!!

dizzydixies · 02/06/2010 22:01

just wanted to let you know I'm available

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:03

actually pert, we were going to have another picnic!! give me some dates when you're free and we'll get this sorted! anyone else up for a london picnic during next few weeks?

dizzydixies · 02/06/2010 22:05

love to

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:07

oh dizz... you could stay here with a DD or two or three...

dizzydixies · 02/06/2010 22:07

where's Sazz ?!

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:09

hmmm, that's a very good question!

hang on, i'll check fb...

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:10

not there!

pertelote · 02/06/2010 22:10

No not a work laptop Miamla, no harm done except to my own tender sensibilities

Good point on the house-chain business, even if we did have a buyer today there's no guarantee they'd stick around so I think we are quite justified in going ahead and giving the sellers every reassurance that we won't hold them up.

And yay, picnic! Dizzy, wish you could join us. Thursdays and Fridays in June are all good for me except the 17th. Where shall we picnic? Out your way again?

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:11

she might be lurking, hang on... i'll put some bait out for her....

"oooh look at that lovely cheese, hmmm it smells delicious..."

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:15

pert i vote for my park again There's a lovely park across the road from albs too. I'm happy to go with the majority vote! Actually, for ease of transporting food, making tea etc we could do it in my garden!

Oh and for the record, DH was right, our lawn has knitted together quite well despite it looking like a patchwork quilt originally! how's yours doing vg?

oopsandbabycoconut · 02/06/2010 22:15

I thought she had gone to her parents??

dizzydixies · 02/06/2010 22:15

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:15

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:19

hey dizz...we're safe to eat the bait!!

pertelote · 02/06/2010 22:19

LOL at the cheesemongers and Oops actually paying attention. Sazz did indeed say she was going off-radar

Miamla your garden sounds good to me!

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:22

right, well lets set a date for after the 19th June. this is day of DH's party so therefore his deadline to get the garden finished!! There's still a load of building stuff down the sideway

pertelote · 02/06/2010 22:36

Sounds great Miamla, we go on holiday 2nd July so either of the Thurs/Fridays between 19th and then would be lovely!

Off to bed with me, good night all.

MrsMiamla · 02/06/2010 22:41

night pert, pretty dreams

dizzydixies · 02/06/2010 22:46

night pert

springaporesling · 03/06/2010 04:30

Meet ups, cheese - gah I miss out on it all

No1 can't believe he asked for the rings back.

DH back from Dubai bearing gifts for me and DS

DS memory really seems to have developed recently. We went back to a park we had been to a couple of weekends ago and DS had had an ice cream so as soon as he got there he was demanding one . He is still being incredibly cute when I put him to bed though - last night I got 'night night darling and 'sweet dreams'. Followed by 'light off, close the door'!

Oops forgot to mention when I saw your photos DS also has a lions kit - I got a good discount

MrsMiamla · 03/06/2010 08:51

morning!!!!!!

dizzydixies · 03/06/2010 09:02

morning all - I've got some ishoos with the childcare to sort out and I know I'm just so NOT going to do it

sun shining again so must get on.....

hotterpotter · 03/06/2010 10:34

Hello everyone

Dizzy sorry to hear your childcare is a problem You are such a strong lady with a following of many many cake-crazy ladies at your beck and call, am sure between us we can sort it out

Well done miamla for getting the girls round to your house I hope you have lots of fun!

Pert am and also for you - that house is beautiful and you will all be very happy there!

I am going round in circles now looking at houses, I have a new favourite because the yellow house, although the nicest house I've seen, only has a small garden which is much lower than the house = loads of steps for DS to fall climb down. This one has loads more outside space and is flat, with maybe plenty of room to expand, but is currently smaller than my house, so would be a right pain until/unless an extension was built... Oh why can't I win the fecking lottery??????????

Lovely day here, am off out at lunchtime to buy a camping kettle and some gas for our tiny camping adventure on Saturday The friends we are going with were in Cumbria yesterday thankfully they are all absolutely fine but was v hairy for them for a while
