Dealing with fussy crap here today. I picked up Reese' little broom and she wailed as if I was tossing it in the bin. I handed it over to her and she tossed it on the ground. Off to nap for her! I can still hear her grumbling.

Floors swept. House mostly tidy. Main windows washed. Dishes done. Laundry in progress. Considering museum trip later. Who am I and where has TS gone???

I've decided to go with Tany Byron's method as mentioned on her MN chat. Make them try a bit of the offending food before they're allowed their approved food. Apparently it can take at least 20 tries to convince tastebuds about something - makes sense when I think about all the foods I took years to grow into eg coffee, curry, chilli, spagbol, tomatoes, smoked salmon, one day maybe even olives and lamb.

Trust me poppy DS is nowhere near ready to give up his naps, not if today is anything to go by. I think it's just teeth; there seem to be about five or six all making a break for it at once.

GladioliBuckets · 09/03/2010 17:46

Ooh we've had some attempts at speech today! Banana is now alaLA and I think he was trying to sing Twinkle Twinkle by doing the sign and chanting dar dar dar dar. For last 10mins he has been playing a lovely game opening and closing the door with a beaming 'Hiiiiiii.'

oopsandbabycoconut · 09/03/2010 18:30

Super builder has been - DD's room has new floor, curtain rails up, He even hung the curtains [shock, our room is 1/2 done, doors arrive Friday for Monday fitting We moved DD into her big room as the baby's room is next on the floor list and he seems to be very speedy in laying floors.

Dh came home early to help and is now being a menace as he want to put things away when there is nowhere to put them as upstairs is still all in 1 room!

Buckets - Twinkle is one of DD's favorite songs. She sings it heartily and often with word to other songs.

evening - cc congrats on your win, sterling stuff

pert i love library thing; excited for your dh too, tres exotique

re the re-presenting food thing, that is a good idea. I remember my mum giving us food we didnt eat the next day for breakfast - I know there's a war on, however, I think that's going a bit far.

DH just informed me he's in for minimum 12hrs tomorrow

night Miamla

oopsandbabycoconut · 09/03/2010 21:22

Night all, I'm off to soak in a nice warm bath before climbing over furniture to get into bed, so DD had better not wake up in the night I may not get to her until morning.
