Ok so a pretty boring thread title but thought we needed some distance from the last one!

We'll have a house warming party next summer in our new house you are all invited

chocolatestar · 29/05/2010 21:02

Hello ladies! I have been awol this week due to tiredness. Went to bed last night at 8:30!

Anyway now I know why. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! I can't believe it, the ones I took a couple weeks after I was late were all negative. I am so happy, it feels right if that makes sense and it gives me something to feel hopefull about.

I have only told my mum and DH obviously and you guys for now.

Feel a bit bad because I have been drinking this last week or so but I really thought I wasn't pregnant.

Need to go and read your posts now!

chocolatestar · 29/05/2010 21:07

BB4 well done to you on that run! I am always so impressed with anyone who can do a marathon, never mind in that time. I hope your interview went well.

Floria is your DH away now then? Hope you are getting on ok without him if so.

Inzi I am so glad that things are moving forward for your dad. I know there is a way to go yet though and I hope you are trying to stay as stress free as you can.

Dalry hello

Dalrymps · 29/05/2010 21:57

WOW WOW WOW CHOC !!!

Soooooo happy for you! Massive congratulations!!! Do you know how far along you'll be/when you're due? You really deserve this ray of hope, lovely news x x x

chocolatestar · 29/05/2010 23:08

I am still buzzing! Not sure exactly as my cycle has been all over the place. Sometime in Jan I think.

I think the waiting for these things is the worst part Inzi, I hope the time goes quickly for you all and that you are out the other side of te operation in no time at all.

Can't sleep, feeling iffy. I had awful morning sickness with Dareh so I am bracing myself.

LisaLessLumpy · 30/05/2010 19:04

Chocolate - CONGRATULATIONS

Inzi - Hope your dad is better soon x

I am an Aunty again. Dh's brother and partner had a little boy this morning. 2 days overdue 6lb 3oz Rory Oliver

Going to have to wait till next week to meet the little fella though as we are off to Centre Parks tomorrow for the half Term.

Hope everyone has a good week. Love to you all xx

strawberrylace · 30/05/2010 20:05

Choc - how exciting! that's great news! I hope you don't get bad morning sickness again this time around

babyblue4 · 31/05/2010 05:27

Chocolate Wonderful news!! Congratulations!! Hope you have a very easy and uneventful pregnancy

at the idea of all you ladies getting together for a BBQ. Wish I could make it out as well. Hmmm... may have to convince DH to go to UK next summer... its been a few years since we travelled to Europe.

Just a short post for now. Seems like it is all I have time for these days.

Cant remember if I mentioned that my interview went so-so??? I tried to prepare for it best I could, but a few questions were tough. Didn't leave feeling that confident. Am hoping I am just being hard on myself. Wii hear back mid to end of the week. I will be in the US, so I told them to call me on my cel!! LOL. Willing to pay horrendous long distance bill to satisfy my curiosity!!

Anyway. Hope you are all well. Love to all! xxx

chocolatestar · 31/05/2010 06:50

Congratulations on your newphew Lisa, I love the name Rory. We thought about that for Dareh at one point. Hope you have a good break!

BB4 I think it is hard to be subjective about yourself in an interview. I remember doing one that I thought was a complete disaster but in th end I was told I was second choice and that I had just lost out to someone with more experience. As they say in Scotland - what's for you will not go by you.

WhiteWineAndJaffaCakes · 31/05/2010 10:17

Choc - that is wonderful, fabulous news, I am so thrilled for you . Hope the morning sickness isn't too bad this time.

LLL - count me in for the house warming! Congrats on becoming an aunty again. Enjoy Centre Parks.

BB4 - fingers crossed for the result of your interview - hope it went better than you think.

So I've decided to move Anya's bedroom while she's away today - swap it with the 'office' now that the film on the windows has made it cooler. We moved her bed before she went yesterday so it wouldn't come as a complete shock, but I've got lots of bookcases etc to move now. I must say Inzi's suggestion of bath/DVD/chocolate sound much more inviting!

babyblue4 · 01/06/2010 17:04

So still no word on the job. We leave for Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon. Was hoping to know either way before then. Sooooo looking forward to my trip! Will be nice to enjoy some adult only time away from home. My mum will be staying over at my house to care for the DCs. Its been hectic trying to get everyone organized plus pack. Worth it in the end though!!

LLL - You may just have to count me in for your house warming after all LOL. Told DH that were were going to the UK next summer and he said 'Great! When?" LOL

Chocolate - How are you feeling? Has it sunk in?

WWAJC - How did Anya's bedroom move go? Did she like it?

Inzi - How are you feeling?? How is dad?

Hello to everyone else! Off to get more packing and preparing done. Will be bringing iPod to Vegas. Hopefully can find some fee WiFi so I can keep up with the thread and post!

lol Inzi, I don't remember Bob but I am glad he has returned to you! Good news about the op being brought forward, better to get these things done.

I am ok, tummy very achey and I was feeling sick at the weekend but now I am not which makes me feel a bit jittery. I hate the first 12 weeks, I want a scan now!

NeedCoffee · 01/06/2010 20:35

Hi everyone

Choc-Congratulations So chuffed for you!! Please try and take things easy.

Inzi-I remember Bob, how cool that he's come back. Bet he heard about George and wanted to have a nosy Gutted you're not going to be able to make the meet up. Are you sure DH can't take it as a sicky holiday?
It is the Mossmorran one that Rich had the interview, hewasn't happy with how the interview went, apparantly the big boss man flew from Housten just to interview him so straight away he crapped himself and said he felt he didn't give a very good impression of himself. He's heard back from the agency who said one man liked him, but the other big boss one was a bit unsure, so he's trying to wanngle a telephone interview. Will have to see how it goes, I don't want him to get it anyway, but it's important to him to at least be offered it even if he doesn't take it.

BB-Sorry about your cat. Have a fab time in Vegas, I'm so jealous!

Strawberry-How you feeling? Rich's frind has just had twin last night, both boys and very little, both about 2 and a half pound I think but there are no future problems anticipated, so thats good.

LLL-Congrats on the nephew and have a lovely holiday.

WWaJC-Goood news about the treatment, hopefully it will work as well as the docs think.

Ft-How're you feeling? Has the cough gone?

Dal-How are the boys and you? You need to get some pics up of them!

I'm feeling sorry for myself, Rich still hasn't finished his disertation and has an extention, so my 'spending quality time together' excitement has still not been realised. We where going to look at moving in together, which will be very scary as I havent' lived with anyone for over 8 years, but everything is in limbo. The girls are driving me mad with whining and I'm still constantly tired, and fed up of it. What else can it be if all my bloods are okay. May have to try eating lots more fruit..
Oooh, one thing I'm excited about is that I'm getting my back garden turfed. It's a dump out there, so have booked someone to do it. They start next week. Just wish that grass didn't grow and need cutting, and just stayed just right!

NC I feel your pain! DH just finished his last exam and it is such a relief to have them finally done. It's like a new house here.

Yes Inzi that is it exactly. First time round I managed to get an early scan because I had some pains which made them think it might be etopic. Turned out I just had a cyst. It was a worry at the time but then I got the early scan which was fab. I have been feeling crampy too, burning pains in my lower tummy just like when I had that infection which makes me wonder about that infection except the dr tested my urine then. As usual can't get an appointment with the dr for love nor money.

Off to get ready for my secert pleasure. The Vampire Diaries! Yes I am sad and should be ashamed of myself.

chocolatestar · 01/06/2010 20:57

It's not bloody on!

WhiteWineAndJaffaCakes · 02/06/2010 12:34

BB4 - hope you have a wonderful time in Vegas.

Inzi - good news on your dad's op - at least it will be done soon now. Yes I remember Bob - how fantastic that he comes back every year!

NC - fingers crossed that Rich gets offered the job - not surprised he was daunted by the boss from Houston flying over! How exciting you two moving in together - hope Rich finished his dissertation soon and you can spend some quality time together.

Choc - hope you manage to get a doctor's appointment soon - I'm sure everything is ok though, I remember worrying myself regularly through my first trimester as I kept bleeding. Never seen Vampire Diaries - how annoying it wasn't on when you were looking forward to it.

Anya loved her new room - "Ooooooh!!! All my things!!" . Might have to rearrange it though - that room's next door to the bathroom and me having a power shower wakes her up early on my work days. Not sure if a bookcase against that wall will muffle the noise a bit.
We're having a relaxing day today as she's had a really busy few days. Must go - she's mithering me for lunch.

I'm here inzi!

Lurking but no time to post properly.

I was anaemic 2nd time round. I was reluctant to take the iron tablets but what a difference they made, I had loads more energy! Only thing I would say is make sure you have something like sultana bran for brekafast and drink plenty water/eat fruit to aviod constipation . I did this religiously when I went on the tablets and it kept me regular

Lol at Jane running away from the donkey.

Just recieved a birthday card from my bloody parents despite them being told this time not to contact me AT ALL, IN ANY WAY . It only says 'love from mum and dad' cause they know they're not supposed to be sending it. They sent it recorded to make sure I got it and of course if they know I signed for it they know I still live here... I would have refused it but didn't realise straight away it was their writing.

They're just trying to be all 'we'll do what we want, we don't care what the police say, blah blah'. Well, i've called the police to report it straight away and they're coming round in the next few hours, it may seem petty for a simple card and I feel a bit stupid doing it but they had an official warning from the police and didn't heed it.

Why can't they just leave me alone?! I certainly don't want them turning up again which will be the next thing so best to nip it in the bud

Sorry for the me me me.

NC - I've put quite a few pics on fb but will try get some more on here

Hi Ladies

You all enjoying the lovely sunny weather?

WWaJC-Glad Anya loves her new room, Shannon loves new everything atm, she gets excited about stickers and everything. She's so cute these days

Inzi-Poor you with the anemia, I needed three doses of the liquid iron with Shannon. You probably know already but you need to take it with fresh orange, helps to absorb it and makes it a bit easier to take.

The phone interview has not materialised so far, and even if he did get it and move, I dont think that I would be moving due to dd1 being so close to her dad...hence me not really wanting him to get it, but I feel a bit mean as I know he does want it.
PMSL @ Jane runnig from thje donkey, that really made me giggle-leaving you and DH to the mercy of the creature lol.

Dal-OMG @ your parents. Well done for reporting it straight away, they need to know they can't do as they like. Am I right in thinking they don't know about M? You should maybe think of a plan in case you 'run into' anyone that knows them..such as say he's a friends child or whatever, they'd only use it as another excuse to harrass you.

Choc-Was you referring to Twilight film things? I've seen 2 of the films and was hooked but not read any of the books, sorry it wasn't on for you.

Another one of my friend has found out she's pregnant, I'm going to be surrounded by babies! Am broody but my head say's no!
