Dinner is coked? Sazz you party animal

hotter I daren't click on any of your house links, we have enough trouble with our own property porn addiction and since we've decided against getting my proper engagement ring, I need to keep my mind off large expensive purchases

Still, it's not all bad; am VERY EXCITED about my dress-buying weekend starting tomorrow Seeing friends, shopping for a dress, long gossipy lunch, free pass to a Jamie Lidell gig, what's not to like?

Saw pics of my friend's twins on FB, ahhhhhhh they are gorgeous, tiny but so alert. Moar babies

lol, when i say 'DP's building a workshop' what i actually mean is that he's project managing the building of one! our neighbour has got his own building company so we're using him to do the actual building!

originally we were going to bristol zoo for the day but they couldn't do the tasting sooo we're going to the local registry office instead to put in legal notice of our intent to marry!!!!! not sure what else we're doing, probably coming back here so i can do the sorting that i'm not doing tonight!! Apparently he's got 'homely' stuff planned for us for saturday though

has your evening got better now you're back home?

cyteen · 28/01/2010 21:12

Not at all, I'll be happy to post pics if I come back with one At the moment I'm thinking of this or similar - we're going to VoH on Saturday morning, then on to Camden to explore the vintage shops.

Miamla Aaaah at 'homely stuff'.

Cyteen Wow what a great dress and what a bargain! I would love to get a dress from there but would never be able to make up my mind. I particularly like the white satin with green stars on (sounds terrible but looks great).

VG LOL No we tried to achieve 7 consecutive days but only made it to 4. My friend who was inspired and took up the challenge made it past 20 days with her DH!

Sazz What a horrid day. IMO for a minibreak timing is everything so go for the flights that are the most convenient, whatever the cost.

Have just finished my 2nd book of the year, am on schedule for my target of 24. Woohoo!

GladioliBuckets · 28/01/2010 21:50

That's reading not writing.

hotterpotter · 28/01/2010 21:54

Evening all

Cyteen that dress is a beauty. Sounds like you have a fab weekend ahead, hope you enjoy it and find your perfect dress.

Sazz Paris sounds lovely too. Am waiting to see if DH will be taking me away for a surprise on my birthday as I did for his 41st but not holding out much hope...

Miamla I hope you have a lovely birthday

Buckets did you find a hairbrush?

No one wants to lend me £30000 then

hotterpotter · 28/01/2010 21:55

Buckets you have just reminded me I was going to keep a list of all the books I read this year, thank you

Thank you Sazz I shall look forward to getting the cash and absconding to Rio

Really need to stop looking at houses for a while though, it's dooing my head in and work productivity suffering greatly We won't be moving for a few months anyway and no point even looking until I get this one valued

Love the idea of a bath but it is my bedtime. Night night all
