No1 I'm just speaking for myself but I completely ignore the typos (being a typo master myself). I completely unserstand every cord you tyme!

MidnightSlayer · 25/10/2009 13:06

just posted a pic of the steam coming off the lake this lovely sunshine-coming-up morning. in case anyone is interested.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 13:20

Thanks ts
Can't see pic cos you name changed, but it sounds great.

MidnightSlayer · 25/10/2009 13:34

i put the pics on fb not here. takes longer to upload stuff here from some reason. i guess because it has to travel across the atlantic. LOL!

SazZaVoom · 25/10/2009 14:25

Just watching the rest of Strictly on the IPlayer, but had to come over here to miss a rerun of Jo Wood. I cringed too much the first time, poor love

No1 sorry to LOL but i can just imagine the look on your face and the expletives used, when covered in poo that you realised the clock changes

My double buggy will be staying with me for a while as dizzy will confirm my DD1 is not one for being out of the buggy and being made to use girly leg power. Her favourite line is 'Mummy, my legs have stopped working'

TS glad DD is back on the food and bless her for her own clearing up. You have taught her well

buckets enjoy your mini hols. I shall resist the sex guru crown though as i refuse to engage in any of that business until i am getting at least 8hrs of sleep a night, and that just aint happening at the mo.

I am ignoring VG and Cyteen as they have had some of the thing they call sleep .

alittlebitshy · 25/10/2009 14:46

loving no1's posts;). Love it when someone posts one after another like that

oops and at your ils. It's so insensitve annyway cos i imagine most parents expecting no2 worry about how they will share their love. I know i did and have been told it is normal, so sying something like that is awful. However when ds was here, i realised your love just grows

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 16:37

pmsl at midisazzles 'legs not working' That is a classic.

ds has a high temp and looks very poorly

He is sat with dh.

explains the tears this am possibly.

CaptainCaveman · 25/10/2009 19:09

heheheheheheeeehee hoohohohohohohoho hahahahahahahhahahaaaa

Thats me, still laughing after seeing Eddie Izzard on Friday

CaptainCaveman · 25/10/2009 19:14

Ds's away at mum and dad's AGAIN, so dh and I are forced to go out AGAIN.

I also got caught out by clocks going back, luckily I realised before we turned up for church! But only coz I heard someone on the TV say what time it was!!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 19:21

cc of Eddie Izzard. I have seen him twice before and I think he his fab. makes my ribs hurt I laughed so much.

My dad is working the show where he is on tonight.(sheffield) very of him too cos he will get to see it.

ds temp 39.9 just waiting for doc to call back. the wonder of neorofen has failed to do its magic and temp just keeps getting higher.
he looks very flushed, ill and lethargic.
in fact he hasnt cried since this am and hasnt moved off my or dh lap. unheard of.
bless em.
just hate it that he`wont drink.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 19:24

sorry one hand typing, well not thats im any better with two tbh.

SazZaVoom · 25/10/2009 19:30

no1 when DD1 had a really high temp i was told i should alternate paracetamol and nurofen every 2 hrs religiously to try and bring temp down. Plenty of fluids too. Hope DS perks up soon as it is so worrying when they are so floppy

SazZaVoom · 25/10/2009 19:32

Sorry, just noticed you have said he won;t drink - will he take ribena or some such? This usually works for both my DD's even when they won't touch water or milk

MidnightSlayer · 25/10/2009 19:32

No1

MidnightSlayer · 25/10/2009 19:35

No1 when Reese's temp went high last month nurofen did nothing for her. I used paracetamol the whole time. [US Versions Of Course] Doctor explained babies can withstand higher temps than adults...up to 105F. Havent' converted yours yet to see what it is but nonetheless it is still very scary.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 19:37

hI been giving both.
Doc says see how he goes in next couple of hours. Hw wont take no drink. He had abit of milk at 4.00 but nothing since.

think he be ok though.

MidnightSlayer · 25/10/2009 19:38

103.8 sounds very much like Reese's temp. So so so sorry. Last three days...maybe four. Up and down. Ended in a rash for four days. However the rash proved the virus was over. Reverted back to bottles during this time because she'd drink no other way.

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 25/10/2009 19:39

No1 - hope DS's temp comes down soon.

Sazzles -loving DD1's comments

CC - enjoy your night out again

Have had more Il hassle today we went to drop DD round for a bit so we could go shpping and mentioned we were looking at booking a holiday and FIL said to DH 'rather you then me ooops is a f*ing rotwieler bitch in a mood when she is pregnant' We left and took DD too as apparently they won't be able to have both kids for us when we have 2! I give up I really do. Just because they only had 1 child doesn't make it the right choice!

Enough moaning from me - thereis a large joint of beef finishing off in the oven, veggies roasted now just to eat! DD was very sweet today and went and fetched her wellies and grabbed DH by the hand shouting out, out , out and when they got out she took him to the back gate which is the way to the park they had a fab 40mins out playing.

Back after dinner.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 19:40

he has never had pop.

We have cranberry juice so just tried him with that but he wont even entertain the sight of the cup.

he his having a cuddle with dh now.
He looks so tired.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 19:41

xpost oops
at inlaws. can't think of polite words to describe.

MidnightSlayer · 25/10/2009 19:48

Oops we love you, your DH, your DD and your unborn baby. SCREW your ILs!!! Attitudes and Comments like that don't even deserve the mental wondering processing power.

SazZaVoom · 25/10/2009 19:51

Don't be that he has never had pop. DD1 never had at this age but DD2 has as she sees our ribena and goes mental for it

oops yes, i can definitely see you as a 'f*ing rotwieler bitch'.......NOT . As you know i have had my fair share of MIL angst, but it is now much better. I reckon, as with babies, just repeat the mantra 'it is just a phase'. But add on to the end 'but they live on cloud cuckoo land and are certifiably nuts' . for you and your family though - how is DH taking it? Is he sticking up for you? Luckily DH did for me (especially over MIL's 'too posh to push comments over my 2nd CS) and things have much improved since she is aware that DH supports me 100%

alittlebitshy · 25/10/2009 19:52

oops . OMG they are insane. How rude? my parents only had me (though wanted 2 - lost 2 boys at 20 weeks plus each time i think) but are overjoyed we've had 2, and have adapted to the whole rearing 2 children thing really well.

no1 poor little man
Do you have any corner shops or anything open near you? how about if you got a little juice carton with a straw. the novelty might attract him. My ds has never had anything but milk or water either but I think if he wasn't drinking like little M I would try anything against my principles . Good luck

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/10/2009 20:00

oops when they see the new baby they will be ovejoyed im sure.

albs good tip going to try a differnt cup too.

sazzles I heart ribena, in fact when i was born my great nan told everyone that ribena was my name as she had heard wrong.

SazZaVoom · 25/10/2009 20:06

LOL ribena, you shall henceforth be known as such

albs how awful for your family - that is really tough
