Hi, Welcome to the new thread, the one where we can't drink a cup of tea in peace (there you go, we could have used that for a title!!)

I was in bodyshop yesterday and M trashed the place. Luckily the sales assistant thought she was sweet as she pulled things off displays and legged it out the shop with jars of body butter (several times)!!, cue me legging it after her with a handful of makeup . Luckily there were no store detectives aroud. She also tried to wear every shoe within her reach at the shoe shop.

Hi all.

Toby awake at 4.50am wet through this morning because dh (aka the arsehole) didnt put a clean nappy on before bed. FGS!!!! I had to take ds1 to karate - I cant be bloody everywhere!!!!

I shouldnt still be having to tell him this stuf should I??? (becaroo wondering if she is just hormonal and mad!!!!???)

Am livid with him - feel like death warmed up as I've been up now for 13 hours - sob! (So has he, but he deserves it!!!)

So, ds1 up at 5am too. Not so good for a school day...sigh....

Off to try and coerce ds1 into writing his xmas cards for his friends (am making him do it as he really needs the handwriting practise)

Is it friday yet??????????????????

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 02/12/2009 19:16

lol at early Christmas present.

I am a right cow when woken in the middle of the night. DH has learnt to bite his tongue when I'm being a cow - which is very good of him really. I know if it were the other way round we'd be having a full blown row in the wee hours

No you shouldn't have to tell him that becaroo. Men really do have brain farts don't they? Even the most sensible man can do incredibly stupid/thoughtless things. DH knows what M's routine is, ie 3 meals a day and one sleep at lunchtime (it's not rocket science) however he stil seems to be able to forget things.

Meglet · 02/12/2009 22:42

I'm looking forward to Friday too, I should be giving blood. The blood service said it was ok post op, fingers crossed I'll be eating biscuits at tea time.

mamamuffin · 03/12/2009 17:07

One word men! Where is everyone today? hmmmmm

Meglet · 03/12/2009 17:15

What's happened mamamuffin?

I've been wondering where everyone else has got today. Maybe no news is good news . Maybe deb has sold her house and starlight has got the sw's under her thumb and her heating sorted.

Ooo, cheesey flapjacks have just cooked, the timer is bleeping....

becaroo · 03/12/2009 17:24

ugh....tom up at 5.40 and toby up at 6....am so tired I am almost hallucinating

Meglet · 03/12/2009 18:13

its crap isn't it. We had a bad night last night (wake ups between 2-3, 4:30 and 5:30). Totally throws the whole day out. I'm just going to do baths then quickly do some stuff on e-bay that I must list this evening then turn the computer off so I can wind down early in front of the tv, its gavin + stacey tonight I think.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 03/12/2009 18:33

I hope the babies sleep better for all of you tonight. Lack of sleep is bloody evil, and like you said Meglet, it throws the whole day out.

I'm off to a meeting tonight which I am chairing so I have to look awake, however I fancy a night on the sofa with a blanket and a bar of chocolate.

I better Sky+ Gavin & Stacey. Tidy.

eandz · 03/12/2009 19:36

Hi Guys!

Been busy with Noah having to do everything on my own while DH is being fed to the lions on TV. It's nice to see you guys have been keeping up to date with my dramatic life lately. The crazy middle eastern markets are directly tied to my life as you can see. When they fall I get to deal mil and DS all by myself.

I've been busy too with estate agents looking for another flat. I hate Estate Agents. Very much.

Had to go to the doctors today since Noah's reflux is still bad, not as bad as before but i don't think we'll ever be able to get away with missing a single dose of meds. Which makes me feel a little dependent.

Will catch up on thread now.

DebiTheScot · 03/12/2009 19:40

no such luck meglet had a viewing today but not heard anything about it yet.
Was busy at work all day.
Got this from a 16 year old boy when I told him not to talk while I was talking "shut up you dozy cow, for f&%s sake, just f&% off you dozy cow" (or words to that effect)

Love Gavin and Stacey

eandz · 03/12/2009 19:47

He was in FT today (in print, it was online before the hardcopy)!

Dh in FT

my lovely husband on bloomberg

i don't know where to get the bbc link thing from though. I uploaded on my fb. Tbh, it's very boring, unless your interested in that kinda thing.

Also, tried to go Christmas Shopping today, but things are just soo neon this year. Whats up with that? I think we might have to make our presents this year, we usually keep it simple with baked goods, and coupons to each other since we hate waiting in lines, fighting for stuff in the sizes we need.

Also* My little sister seems to be in 'Love'

Meglet · 03/12/2009 20:30

eandz how exciting seeing your DH on youtube! For some reason I assumed he was from the states too, never occured to me he was English. I went clothes shopping for me yesterday for an Xmas meal, and I have purchsed black wet look leggings, or weggings as MN seem to be calling them. I can brave the 80's, but not in neon.

debi I saw your fb status and wondered what had been said! . What happens these days when kids are mouthy, do they go on report or get sent to the heads office?

Just done my e-bay stuff and am waiting for my risotto to cook.

I have discovered something interesting today, that I had my suspicions about but thought it was my imagination. Turns out I may have Aspergers, I have lots of the 'symptons' and mum and my sister (who works in mental health) have spoken about it behind my back as they think I have it but never mentioned it to me . So now I need to investigate and maybe see the GP. What annoys me is that I saw a counsellor for years as I had depression but AS was never mentioned (although my family have wondered for years), it's only from reading MN that has made me seriously consider it. I know it can't be managed with medication (and I wouldn't do that anyway), but it would explain a lot. Ho hum.

DebiTheScot · 03/12/2009 21:56

meglet he's been excluded. Don't know how long for but there are rumours (amomgst the other equally naughty boys) that he's 1 step away from permanent expulsion. My school is pretty hot on that sort of thing though (not so good with the constant low level stuff like rudeness and being disruptive but that's a whole other issue)

I bought leggings and a long top for my Christmas nights out, wasn't quite brave enough for the wet look ones and although I like the idea of the neon ones I'd never have the guts to wear them either.

becaroo · 04/12/2009 14:06

Hello all.

debi God, I would have smacked the little f**r Which is why I never went into teaching Wouldnt have lasted a week!!

meglet Wow, thats a bit of a shock for you isnt it? I really think my ds1 may have it too, but his referral to the paed still hasnt come through so am giving it another week then ringing them to have a bit of a shout Would you consider the medication or not?

oohh! eandz I (sort of) know you so I (sort of) know your husband WHO IS ON TV!!!! I am very excited Its my only claim to fame

Ds1 was up at 5.30am again this morning (after pulling my hair all night long and keeping me awake ) Went along with his class to church this morning for some xmas activties, then we have a dentist appointments at 3pm, then cooking for Toby then cleaning...sigh....never ends, does it?

We were supposed to be going to london this weekend but a) weather is supposed to be rubbish and b) I am so tired I can barely walk in a straight line. Will go another time.

Right, off to post my xmas cards.....I really want to send you all one too!!!

mamamuffin · 04/12/2009 15:15

Merry Christmas everyone! I dont seem to be able to write my card. Baby e keeps pulling at me and grabbing. I am so tired once hes in bed I cant be bothered. Doh!
I am ed too deb what a weasal!
Meglet What would you have to do to get a proper diagnosis and what would it mean for you?
Where is my time going????
Its friday again

mamamuffin · 04/12/2009 15:17

oh yeah and my legs look funny in leggings, I cant understand it. I am a size 14 but they have a funny bow legged rickety look that I have only discovered recently. Weird!

eandz · 04/12/2009 16:41

meglet
you're going to LOVE your weggings. I love mine. I've been wearing them at least once a week all year (except in the summer and I missed them).

I love leggings.

Debithescot

I don't know how you managed to not freak out at the kid. I would have.

eandz · 04/12/2009 16:45

Becaroo

I hope you have a better night tonight. I want a xmas card but you can just send me a virtual one. Since I never open mail anyway.

everyone
does your baby eat your hair? N really wants to eat mine. It's creeping me out a little. He's been doing it for two weeks now.

becaroo · 04/12/2009 16:57

eandz Consider your virtual xmas card sent!!! Toby eats anything but I have short hair so thats a no no. Ds1 is at PIL for a sleepover tonight so toby can go in with dh and I will slope off on my own somewhere

Leggins/weggins???? Please. I have legs like a snooker table so not a good idea for me

eandz I only didn't freak out because he said it and walked out at the same time so I couldn't do much.

Found another buyer for our house. Have taken a £3k hit on the price but that was expected. Obviously can't get too excited yet though.
