I think Jamie is my favourite.. something very likable about him.

Salemchocolates · 17/10/2009 21:46

I'm not good at all their names, but so far I've only liked Jamie and Joe. I don't think any of the others so far are all that good really. I'm sort of wondering how they got to the finals in the 1st place.

flippineckitsabitspooky · 17/10/2009 21:54

Just a quick and evening all! I've missed loads so not going to namecheck, and DH is getting a bit arsey becaue I'm online and not talking to him!

Lovely day here, we went to some friends for lunch, they made main course, we took pudding. Their girls are roughly the same ages as mine.

Off now, DH sighing and rolling his eyes!

EtherealFiByTheSea · 18/10/2009 10:03

day 3 of cp lock in & still in pj's. having a lazyish start to the day.. what's everyone up to today?

HeebieJeebieReeBee · 18/10/2009 10:57

I'm having a lazy day today, Fi. I have some paperwork to sort out and also I'm not quite sure where DH is.

It was the NCT boys' night out last night and he stayed over with one of them in York. Unusually, I haven't heard a word from him since he left home yesterday. Ah well, he'll turn up at some point. I've sent a couple of texts and tried to call once, so I assume he has either lost his phone, is still asleep or is very poorly indeed! I'll be fed up if he's very late home though, he was away 2 nights last week, away again from tomorrow so I only really see him at weekends at the moment. Even at the races he was being very corporate (which is fairly hilarious in itself).

I just can't be bothered to start doing anything. Have showered, walked dogs, done dishwasher and washing but my motivation has fled. Might go and aimlessly watch TV.

EtherealFiByTheSea · 18/10/2009 11:57

well that's dh away.. he's going to try to get back friday night if he can. It's a lovely sunny day outside & I normally would have headed out to the park with G and ds. But going to get ds to help make banana muffins this afternoon instead. Still not convinced he has cp but he has had a temp so must have had some virus if nothing else..

pulapumpkin · 18/10/2009 13:33

Morning all, I am feeling decidedly rough this morning- no more than 1.5 hours sleep at a time last night due to DS2 feeding 4 times in the night and noisy student neighbours last night between 3 and 4am . Also got a severe case of buffet tummy after my parents ruby wedding anniversary party yesterday.

Luckily all 3 DCs are in bed- DS2 asleep, DD is quiet and DS1 is singing . So i have my feet up on the sofa in between trips to the loo.

Salemchocolates · 18/10/2009 14:22

fi That's my plan for the day too. The banana muffins that is. I've got 1 over ripe banana and thought I'd make something nice with it.

Pula Hope you're feeling better soon. Sounds like feet up and doing nothing is the way to go.

EtherealFiByTheSea · 18/10/2009 14:29

poor you pula i hope your trips to the loo lessen by tonight.

1st lot of banana muffins cooling and 2nd batch about to come out of the oven..

FrightNightFebes · 18/10/2009 15:47

I have a glut of bananas in a dubious state so I'll be making some banana bread as some stage too. Gorgeous day here the sun is lovely and autumn leaves everywhere.

Jael · 18/10/2009 19:25

The thread is quieter on W/ends I've noticed now, normally I don't have time to post at all, so just another quick one from me. Busy weekend again here, took the DC to the cinema again yesterday morning DD loves it and baby J in an absolute angel, he loves the big screen! Usually watches half the film, and sleeps through the other half. Today we took DD to see Disney Princesses on Ice, which was amazing, I think I loved it more than DD lol it was ace. DD was mesmorized by their "moves" lol she was all dressed up, and looked adorable, even if i do say so myself, she had her ariel outfit on, tail and all her hair was all curly, she looked a picture, even better seeing as she didn't even know where she was going until we got there!lol
Well I've just read DD and baby J their bedtime story and DP is just finishing off J's feed, so were going to go and have a relax now I think lol

No teeth yet here for J, he's been grizzly for ages, and dribbly, and constantly has his fist in his mouth, I've thought he's been in pain a few times and used some gel, and can see where a couple are going to come through, but none are actually through yet. Over the last few days though he's worked out how to crawl, so he's off now haha not quite, just very slowly, he doesn't stay in one place anymore!

Take care everyone XX

Hi all

Looby / Spangle v of your baby massage classes. Ours starts tomorrow and is costing £8 per session .

Saus how's the hangover? Hope you had a lovely time. So, did you wear l-plates and a penis hat then

Momi you nearly got an unwelcome visitor on Saturday. I unexpectedly got a couple of hours off as mil looked after both dc so I got a pass out whilst dh was at the footie. Went in to York for retail therapy and got twitchy after an hour.

Llare ikwym re 6 months and putting away all newborn things. I am putting them away for now but well aware I need to give them away / sell them as we now have no need for them . Bizarre really as I am not particularly fond of the newborn stage, but this stage is lovely. B is just so cuddly and generally so ameniable.

Spangle absolutely pmsl at 'free dance'. Would love to see that in action.

Salem so sweet re your dd1 and her piccy. My dd claims I am her best friend. Bless.

Had a lovely weekend. Had a lie in today courtesy of mil then went to the seaside, followed by a leisurely pub afternoon lunch en route home. Gorgeous autumnal day and we were blessed with perfectly behaved kiddies .

First week of weaning gone well. Sweet potato gets a real thumbs up (= much leg kicking excitement), but banana seemed to get a thumbs down. Going to try banana again tomorrow.

Went to hospital last week re prolapse and have daily exercises to do. It is a moderate prolapse (so not mild or not severe), and may require surgery but time will tell.

Busy week ahead. Got building work starting on the house so not looking forward to that disruption.

sausagemonstermash · 18/10/2009 20:59

Hello...

Have only really started feeling better in the last couple of hours. Dp and M have been total saints today. Will fill in gory details tomorrow. Thankfully no penis hats about.

I did, however, manage to lose a shoe [hhmmm]
