afternoon all
laura, so so sorry to hear your news You will be in our thoughts ((((hugs))))
effie, E isn't that keen on finger foods or lumps yet either, sure they'll do it when they want to Sorry to hear your ds1 has bought the school pet home for the holidays, are you doing the wet combing with conditioner or just zapping the little critters?!
june, hope all goes well with the nursery visit, is it tomorrow? How's C today, any better, poor thing? There's details here for Sheila Kitzinger, I've also heard good things, I may give it a go depending on how I get on with the hospital, I would think they would be a little less biased maybe as they are independant of the hospital. I can't believe your unit charge £10 for a talk with a midwife I'm guessing it's because they can charge £10 to view your notes but even so a bit of a cheek!
gauchita, how lovely to be back on line Wouldn't it be lovely for a couple of our june babies to meet up, funny your both flying at a similar time, how things work eh?!
skies, how's the house hunting going? Rightmove is on my favourites list, not that we're actually moving
MrsMcJnr, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, it's a bit like CSI but rather obviously, navy based I find my two hardest probably at the moment, at 2 and 3 they were pretty good! At the moment they have a love/hate relationship, they either get on great or I'm breaking the pair of them up while they try to tear chunks off each other I think it gets hard about age 2 and 3 because that's the first time you have two children that want to walk independantly and you can bet they both want to go in opposite directions and a trip to the park when they both need watching carefully is very hard on your own. But at that age it was often physically hard work chasing them both but at the same time they both still had daytime naps so I got a good break. Guess it's like everything, it depends on you and your individual children. I think next year will be a little easier as dd2 will be at high school and her and ds1 won't be at the same school spending all their time together, it should do them some good!
venetian, your trip sounds lovely, how exciting, we'd love to visit NZ, it's on the list of things to do when we win the lottery
I know venetian mentioned being careful with cheese chunks, the same goes for grapes, I've heard similar stories of children choking on them. Always cut them in half when they are old enough to eat them.
I took E back to the gps again this morning, the xray showed an infection, go figure but she could still hear it on his chest, so we'll be back again in a couple of weeks! Just carrying on with the inhaler for now.
Anyone else going to be watching the live eastenders tonight? I'm a little fed up with the whole whodunnit thing now, will be good to get it over and done with, I reckon Archie will turn up in the shower in a couple of years time and it will all have been a dream
half term has been manic, I've been trying rather unsuccessfully to get the dcs to tidy their rooms, oh well, guess that's what they'll be doing monday, inset day fun!
waves to all
