Dog Will definitely say something, just got to think long and hard about what, I suppose everything sounds cliched at a time like this, so will just be open and honest and send them huge amounts of love.

hz, i agree with dog, whatever you say won't fix it but it wuld be worse if it seemed like you were ignoring it. your poor, poor friends

Gumps · 23/09/2009 21:22

That is so so sad HKZ

newspaperdelivery · 23/09/2009 21:24

Glad you are ok MissJ. Much love.

Weekend out Gumps! Wow! Enjoy and have several ice cold beers for me.

Is dd2 only one with no teeth??????

So so so sorry for your friend HKZ, can't even go there. Too hard to think about. Poor poor parents and family.

Am of the stoke - my mum is desperate for one. I always thought the chair small, that they would be short term. What do you think dog?

DD was 8 months yesterday Still llots to do, guest lost seating and so on. Looks like about 60 people!! Argh! Plus dd1's birthday soon.

newspaperdelivery · 23/09/2009 21:26

Totally missed this last page of posts

Agree you will find the right thing to say. I'm sorry and plenty of listening is the way. Good grief how awful

OK am embarking on a catch up........

missjackson · 23/09/2009 21:51

dog it's v cool; you have got me thinking about a new buggy now. Has anyone ever had a mountain buggy? Need some proper off-road wheels for all the horse shows coming up! OH has to find a new horse first though ... seems that out of his current 70, none are quite right ...

MM hope you feel better soon, sending you hugs.

tree thanks for love and thoughts - when are you going to change your name back? How was DD today?

hkz too, too awful about your friends. Whatever you say will come from the heart, and that is what will give them some comfort I am sure.

Hi gumps, stripey and everyone else. Talking of which, I wonder where ray has got to? We miss you ray!

Tried to order the 'No cry sleep solution' today, has anyone tried it? But my card got refused because I used it to pay my massive tax bill yesterday, oops! LO is actually not too bad at the moment. But did fall out of bed last night while co-sleeping with me - luckily there was a pillow on the floor, and he stayed asleep! I woke up in a panic to find him gone, then found him on the floor and fished him back up. Would be nice around about now to stop with all the waking up and co-sleeping. Is anyone else still doing it? We are co-sleeping from first or second wake-up, usually around midnight.

Too all, thank you for such wisdom on the school thing. I have had a good think today and have decided to wait till parents evening, only as it is Tuesday. That goves dd, me and the school chance to really get in our groove.
It does seem so cruel Moose, I think that is why I struggle with it. Why can't she keep a play-doh 'J' she made to show me? WHy can't she sit with a boy she likes at lunch? I hate all that stuff.

Pat I think you are right - it is home, me and dd2 she misses. That has just got to be got over hasn't it. I think the school are not making it easy, they are doing 'cold turkey' in terms of time [full time straight in] and attitude [hands off, business like approach]. It's a baptism of fire!
GP asked to take her but she has refused th'sis, so we are going to try again Fri and next week.

Hope Lenni is having a good time away, and well done choosing nursery.

No periods here. Not blooming likely with the amount of boob action going on!

We are very nearly crawling, which looks mental as she is about 14 lbs and looks to small to be doing that!

I can't really concentrate as my head is full of dd1. Sorry, being very very selfish.

Also a bit green thinking about animals living under my skin. Oh good grief, I would have to be intubated till they were removed! No way i could be doing with that. Lordy.

newspaperdelivery · 23/09/2009 22:00

Co-sleeping here too, mixed with cot sleeping and no sleeping at all sleeping, ocasional on daddy's chest sleeping....

We have a Jane powertrack and it is absolutely blooming briliant. Tough as old boots too, and I love the break for going down hills to slow it down. Plus we have the lie flat car seat - we don't use it as a car seat cos it isn't that great - but they can face you till they are 10 kgs, or something, DD1 faced us till she was 1 or so. I loved that. The actual seat is huge, dd1 still fits at very nearly 5.

70 horses. Thats a whole lot of horses.

MissJ used to have a mountain buggy when DD was small and was great for when we were living in the sticks, I imagine its a bit of a PITA for folding and sticking in the car though. I'm selling our P&T with doubles kit, cocoon, rain covers etc if you are interested you are welcome to it!

News Who has animals living under thier skin...ewww..thought of it makes me feel slightly insane!

Seem to be doing a lot of co-seeling with Dh, DS and DD enjoying the bed, while I hang off the edge clinging to a tiny corner of duvet...I have no idea how this came to be, when ds wakes at 5, dd seems to sleep walk into the room withhim! Quite like being 4 in a bed though.

HKZ - was thinking of Moose's poor sister with the worms or mites or whatever it was....no can't cope with that.

Dog, I believe they call what you describe correcting. Mine do it too, from 50th to 9th or so. e have the dietician on Fri! Oo er!

I'd like a P&T.......if MissJ isn't intersted. Pending ££ and all that. DD1 wants one, she wants to get in the back . OUr jane has nearly had it, it has taken 2 children to 4 nad one to 8 months and it really wants to put the break on for good now.

It is the sport. Its been really handy for getting two about, but we live in a basement flat and its a complete bugger to get downthe stairs. I find it a bit heavy and it takes up half of our flat! Now DD is happy walking and DS is happy in the ergo style carrier I have have decided to get rid of it. Its charcoal, but has the apple green sleeping bag thing (never been used) and cocoon and all the bits. Message me on FB if you are still interested.

bit not bot. Whats a bot?

Dog thats a good point, they tip up quite easily if the weight distribution is uneven. Dd has made the mistake of getting in the bottom a few times without her enormous brother in it to balance it out and ended up trapped beneath the buggy!
