I'm so pissed off at dh. he's so selfish. A baby!!!! I only wanted ONE baby!!! Sometimes I wish I had a different DH.

I know it's horrible to say... but I do.
I went out on saturday again with a few girl friends and left at 8.30 - making sure Q well asleep and said I'd be home by 12.30. We were really just having wine and talking!! Well, some slow driving on way back and my friend insisted on driving so I had to go back to hers then back to mine to get home... so I text DH that I would be home 15 min late. I text him every 45 min or so to let him know what was going on... and he sent the most awful angry texts "whatever star"...etc. Then he claimed NOT to be angry. I showed my friend ALL of his texts and she was shocked. The next day I said "it's not worth going out if this happens" and he apologized the next day with a chocolate dessert...etc... but I THINK only b/c I had sex with him. I wasn't even into it, just did it b/c I knew it would make him happier. I'm such a stupid doormat.

pistachio any other weekend, I would go on our own as well. But his birthday is wednesday and I just feel wrong about it.

Q has started biting me A LOT. It is quite painful. When I tell him "no" firmly, he cries and puts his bottom lip out.

When we tell him "no" for other things he just crawls away and finds something else to do. I feel like he thinks I don't want him to bf. But I just don't want him to bite. It's at the point where I'm now afraid for him to latch on! Sorry, I'm all over the place right now. I'm a train wreck

50ftQueenie · 17/08/2009 20:38

Star - I have posted on FB as MN would probably delete my message if I posted what I think about it on here. But I do agree with Pistachio, come on your own. DH is being very unfair and you shouldn't make sacrifices for him until he treats you better.

I can't remember anyone else's posts now!

Right -

Pepper - That's terrible about the referral. Some GPs are just a waste of space. My op ended up being far more serious because the GP faffed about and delayed things. I could have had keyhole surgery if they had pulled their fingers out! I am not used to the name but getting there slowly. Feel free to continue to call me MM. Everyone else does! Plus if anyone lurks on our thread ever, they'll wonder what the hell you're all talking about!

ronshar · 17/08/2009 20:53

I thought we had a new trannie on our thread
Nice name. Was that Portishead??

Star have posted on FB. But I think you should mark Dh birthday in another way and go to Warwick on your own. Didnt you drive to West Witterings? Isnt that over an hour in the car?????

I cant remember who asked but was the lump a Ganglion? Used to get thumped with a Bible in the old days.

Myjob, your lump sounded like a raised gland.

Anyone else?
I left my DD1 to fly on her own today for the first time. Thats it no more little girl. DD2 is going to have to put up with me now.
Star, W keeps bitting me as well. I am really seriously considering stopping BF because he just messes about so much that both my nipples are really sore.

Jenwa. Write down all of your symptoms as you get them. The give the paper to GP. That way you dont have to sit in the clinic trying to remember.

RachieW · 17/08/2009 20:53

Hi all, just popping in again not been around much.

Star- so sorry to hear about you and Dh and not going to Warwick. We seem to have similar dh issues from time to time so I can sympathise. I would feel bad about the b'day too so would probably not go either, not saying it's necessarily the right thing to do but I can see what you mean. I also have a dh who probably wouldn't want to come if we were able too. He doesn't 'get' mn and would be nervous about meeting new people. Sadly it is your dh's b'day and we are on hols otherwise me and you Q and J could have gone together and had a great time.
Sorry to hear about the texts too, that's not fair. You shouldn't feel that you have to text him every 45mins too. It's hard though isn't it managing relationships after a baby? I don't think you are a door mat, I think you are just trying to keep everyone happy and provide a happy home for Q. I think you should start to try to get some independance from each other though, just little steps at first maybe and then move onto bigger?

ronshar · 17/08/2009 20:59

I was given some itunes vouchers for my birthday. Any suggestions for music to download??

RachieW · 17/08/2009 21:01

Ronshar- I really like Lilly Allen's latest album but she may not be your cup of tea?

50ftQueenie · 17/08/2009 21:15

Heh heh Ronshar - I don't wear enough makeup to be a trannie, oh and I'm not a man. It's by PJHarvey, much too lively for Portishead. But I do love Portishead! Right music.... umm Gorillas (2nd album is better), Arctic Monkeys, Kaisers Chiefs, Elbow (newest album).

jenwa · 17/08/2009 21:17

star I don think your Dh is being very fair. You should be bale to go out and enjoy some time with just you and your friends, he has done it plenty of times and been late back!

ronshar are you trying to imply my memory may be going too by writing a list hehe, I have to remember to actaully make an appointment first!
HOw old is your dd1 to be flying on her own? I bet that felt odd? Where has she gone?

ronshar · 17/08/2009 21:25

DD1 is nearly 10. She was a bit scared but was excited at the same time. She looked really grown up. She has flown out early to MIL. We drive over on Friday. I bloody hate boats so I really wish I had put my foot down again and booked my own flight. Which I did a few years ago.
I do like Lily, so good one. I have Arctic's on pre order. I dont have Gorillas 2nd album so will have a look.

ronshar · 17/08/2009 21:29

Got Kaisers, will look at Elbow.
Thank you.
Jenwa not at all. I know myself how difficult it is to remember when you are sat in the hot seat. Saying that I never remember to write a list myself

pepperrabbit · 17/08/2009 21:47

I like Lily too and I'm crap at music!
ronshar, how brave of your DD - I've never flown on my own
jenwa - I've been known to take a list to the Dr, otherwise I really do forget, though I am a bit older that the rest of you I suspect

Honeymoonmummy · 18/08/2009 00:24

Hey all, I've not been on for ages and have only read this page, sorry!

I often write a list for the doc too, esp re the PND.

I love flying alone, it makes me feel like a proper businesswoman

I also love Portishead but have no idea of modern bands so no use asking me, sorry! I'd be recommending a nice bit of the Carpenters or Simon and Garfunkel!!

Sorry Star to hear you're having such a hard time. Is there really likely to be jousting because DH is getting rather excited at the prospect?!

Poppy has started saying mummum and looking at/ moving towards me at the same time [HMM wipes an emotional tear from her eye]

I'm really looking forward to Warwick woo hoo!

I'll catch up properly soon. Hoping to go to a local working farm tomorrow with DH and Pops.

Someone said at work today, is Poppy ginger, you can always get sun-in you know. She only meant it as a joke and she's a good friend but it upset me, prob cos I'm overtired/ PND.

We did go camping last week and it went ok so we'll be doing that again soon!

Honeymoonmummy · 18/08/2009 00:25

Oh and I'm off to look at the FB thread now then off to bed. Night!

jenwa · 18/08/2009 08:25

hm oh sorry that comment upset you, people can be so cruel about red hair. I dont think from looking at the pics she is red, she looks a little like my dd1 did with blonde and red colourings. People asked if I had left dd out in the rain and she had gone rusty! I actually think red is a lovely colour but people can be sooo cruel.
Glad hte camping went well, did Poppy enjoy it?

ronshar I bet you are having some peace then whilst dd1 is away ? Could you not have sent all the kids on the plane

pepper I dont think you are that much older, I feel very old at the moment though!

jenwa · 18/08/2009 08:27

Oh and with regards to my memory it is going!!! I put a pizza in the oven the other night and came on here and sat here thinking I was hungry so I went in the kitchen to make myself something to eat and remembered I had already put a pizza in! doh!

star6 · 18/08/2009 08:40

Thanks everyone for your support. I'm going to give this a lot of thought today while I'm organizing my classroom...

HMM why did she say that? Is it not a good thing to be ginger in Britain? I have never thought of it as something that would need sun-in? She's a beautiful baby.

star6 · 18/08/2009 08:41

lol at the pizza jenwa

HMM - DS has the same colouring too! My SIL's husband thought it was 'hilarious' to continuously rib him about being a 'ginger'. Luckily DS was old enough to eventually ask him to stop bullying him as it makes him feel sad. That shut the bastard up. I don't know why people seem to think you're fair game if you have red hair. I had red hair as a teen, but my was bought and paid for so if people commented I just laughed at them!

Pistachio - You're not the only one with sore nips from bobbing on and off. M has been doing the same for about a week. She's not got a cold, she' just so busy chatting that she doesn't want to stop to feed. I feel like I have a new baby again. Hope your trips out help and that you have a good day.

Oh dear Jenwa! What happened to the pizza?
