I am going to stick with it Myjob. You can still call me MM if you like. We'll all know who you mean. I feel less fluffy now though.

I just thought it was a fluffy name because it is about M. Not that I was fluffy, heavens no! I have nothing to hide either! Actually, there have been a few things....

Bigmouthstrikesagain · 15/08/2009 22:51

Liking the new name 50ftQ but I am naturally biased towards song references

I know you are all thinking who is this - she never bloody posts but I do hover and then things move too quick. I don't MN much at the moment and dd2 is such an easy baby - it is the older 2 that keep me occupied the most. Ds and dd1 are in constant competition over my attention.

Stiil dd2 has finally got 2 front teeth, she is crawling like a pro and loves throwing a ball around so no worries there. She also gives me constant heart attacks picking up ds tiniest toys, carpet fluff, tissues, wet wipes basically anything she can grab and shoving them straight in her mouth so there is a lot of scooping and tidying going on which is probably no bad thing. Thogh I am nostalgic for the days when I could put her on the floor go away and come back to find her in the same place (and that was only a matter of days ago).

50ftQueenie · 15/08/2009 23:00

Hello Bigmouth. I thought you'd get my reference. M to likes to eat bits of carpet fluff, but she scoops and runs, well crawls very fast so we can't get her. She runs away from us lots when she's go something she shouldn't have like DH's phone. It is very funny, but yes, it would be nice if they stayed put.

Speaking of which, Pistachio - M did something similar to T tonight. I fed her in our room but she decided that she wasn't tired. So she rolled off my lap and then tried to get off the bed. I grabbed her Grobag but she escaped off the bed, made a break for the door, pulled it open and legged it down the hall. Cheeky madam!

Ekka · 15/08/2009 23:15

50ft - don't worry, we have another gummy baby here. M keeps shoving his hands in his mouth, but still no teeth! Dd didnt' get her first teeth till 11 months though, so we may have a bit longer to wait.

So, I'd like to do a quick poll of anyone medical? I've found a lump on my forearm, which popped up a few days ago. It feels pretty solid, and hurts when its bumped, or I press it. I don't think its from a knock or anything as I bruise really easily and there is no bruise or anything on my arm. I've got a docs appt on Monday, but I'm veering between being totally unfussed about it and a complete hypochondriac.... So any non-worrisome ideas about what it might be?!?!?! Aaaargh..... For once I'm desperate to see my doctor (nothing like a good stress to liven up the weekend).

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/08/2009 06:31

ekka - could it be a lump of gristle? I've had those on occasions in the past and they always disappear eventually.

Mm - d got 3 teeth in one night a few weeks ago. Maybe it was while you were in hospital.

Hello bmsa .

50ftQueenie · 16/08/2009 08:35

Ekka - DH had a lump on his arm a few months ago, sounds like the one you've got. Being a man he didn't take any notice of it and it just went away of its own accord. Oh and I had one years ago and again, it just disappeared. HTH.

CSWS - Three in one night? Poor d!

Blimey it's quiet on here today!
Have spent the whole day packing and sorting the house ready for going to mums tomorrow, and am knackered now.
Bit of tv and then bed methinks.

Just think, by this time next week I'll have met MM, HMM and Jenwa (that is everyone that I haven't met already isn't it?).

50ftQueenie · 16/08/2009 21:16

I am looking forward to it CSWS!

I am totally knackered. M was up at 5 and ds has been hideous all day. Plus to round the day off nicely M had a full on melt down about going to bed! She wanted DH to come back in and play but he is banned from coming into the room when I am getting M to sleep. I tried to calm her down but she kept fighting me and screaming so I put her in her cot (wasn't sure if she wanted to be on her tummy and whether this was part of the problem) but she just went totally crazy! She was screaming like she was being stabbed! I had to take a five minute break from her! I went back in and she was screaming, shaking her head, pouring sweat and hyperventilating. Proper tantrum, at 10 months old. I think I'll just give up now!

50ftQueenie · 16/08/2009 22:53

Had that been sorted out? Don't forget Hmm and I need to obtain picnic food from somewhere!

50ftQueenie · 16/08/2009 22:57

Ooops, itchy trigger finger and posted too soon!

Myjob - I think M was over-tired, but there was also an element of being a pickle thrown in for good measure. She is pushing boundaries all the time now.

Jenwa - Yes, sticking with this name for now. It feels a bit itchy and uncomfortable at the moment but I'll get used to it! Maybe you should try eating before the shaking kicks in. I think you should call the doctor just to check about the side effects you're having. You don't want them to start affecting your life.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/08/2009 07:28

Whilst I think about it, can you message me your mobile number MM, as yours is the only one I don't have for next week.

jenwa · 17/08/2009 08:36

50ft feels strange calling you something else, was thinking you should be MOM M and O's Mummy . have to go back to drs next week so will see how I go this week. Feel a little light headed this am but just had breakfast and not yet taken tablet so will do so in a mo.

Looking forward to meeting you all. Hopefully DD1 will be good, is there a tower there for naughty children???

myjob is there a time on FB for meeting? I cant remember, will have a look later. I imagine we will get there 11:30 ish depeding on how quickly DH can get sorted, although he only will sort himself whilst I do everything else!

50ftQueenie · 17/08/2009 10:48

Jenwa - You can call me MM, we all know who you mean! Make sure you mention everything to that's bothering you about the medication to the doctor. Don't want you ending up ill. 11.30 would be good for us and Hmm as it gives us time to find an M&S a supermarket to get some picnic stuff.

I think it's best to sort out the details on FB so it is private.

CSWS - I'll get my number from DH and send you a message.

pepperrabbit · 17/08/2009 19:02

Evening all,
jenwa, hope you feel ok.
MM - I get so easily disorientated my head won't call you 50ft how does your new name feel now?? Are you used to it?
CSWS. have a good time.
ekka - how did you get on? I've only just read thread so didn't realise why you were at drs assumed you had a Matthew check up! Sorry, was a bit flustered by discovery doc had sent my rheumatology referral vis NHS not private which is why I'd heard nothing for 4 weeks Only chose to go private cos of the timescale and needing to be fixed before I go back to work - which is now 3 weeks away....
SHouldn't be so bloody polite and have waited so long to chase it. Hope you ok.
posting now in case internet goes funny. Part 2 later for anyone who thinkks I've forgotten them...

congrats on surviving visitors, myjob
I can't get used to 50ft. Especially since I picture you as a small person... 50ft doesn't do it for me.
I can't get a bluetooth thing on my computer to allow me to transfer my video of Q walking!!
He walks A LOT now. He'll walk several feet, sometimes he falls down, sometimes he crawls instead, he's not 100% steady by any means, but walked down the hall and through living room! It's SOOOO funny to watch!!

star6 · 17/08/2009 19:36

I've just posted a rant on fb. Not coming to warwick.
I hope you all have a lovely time

jenwa · 17/08/2009 19:50

Star just posted on Fb but I think it is a real shame. Would have loved to meet you. Maybe things will change??

Oh pepper what a pain re your referral, can imagine you are !

myjob glad you had nice day.

P is not wanting to sleep! She is being a monkey!!!!

star6 · 17/08/2009 19:56

Q has been exhausted by 6.45 each night lately. . A big meal before bath/bed really does wonders
