StealthPolarBear · 02/08/2009 07:34

urgh Balamory is annoying!

elkiedee · 02/08/2009 09:15

SPB, I found it very hard to sleep at all at the end of my pregnancies. If T's letting you, make the most of the sleeping.

ScarletBandit · 02/08/2009 12:12

Can't believe you only have six weeks to go SPB! Seems to have gone really fast!

Bramshott, have a fab holiday

Luce, fab news about the baby, so pleased to hear that all is well

I am here with F today, but the boys have gone fishing. Quiet house which is lovely!
I am a bit tired as I worked a 12 and a half hour shift in Bristol yesterday. Knackering, but worth it for the money! I have another booked for tomorrow night, but thankfully it is a little closer to home so not quite so far to drive home in the morning!

runnyhabbit · 02/08/2009 15:01

Afternoon all

SPB - Really, 6 weeks to go How exciting though

Hope everyone who's going away has a nice time.

Went to froends house yesterday for bbq. Didn't get home til gone midnight Was lovely, we were able to walk there and back - meant me and dh could both have a drink. Really nice night, very relaxed, and all the children played great together.

Will be on our way out in a bit for dads meal. Lovely and sunny, so the boys will be able to play in the pub garden.

Have a nice day (whats left of it!) x

ScarletBandit · 03/08/2009 09:25

Hope the meal was good runny

Not much going on here today, need to pop to the bank and that's about it. Working again tonight so am quite happy for a quiet day!

Sexonlegs · 03/08/2009 21:54

Evening all

Luce, lovely news re your cousin's baby Glad things are working out well for you.

Bramshott, enjoy Ireland

Runny, hope the meal went well.

SB, you must be shattered. Hope you can get some rest.

SPB, cannot believe you only have 6 weeks to go!

GM, and not long to the bid day for you

NJ, glad your dentist trip wasn't too bad after all.

Dooby, how are you doing my lovely?

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Has been manic here with the School holidays, and the weekend just gone was v busy.

Dh's brother and his gf came down on Saturday and announced they are getting married . Cue much drinking. Then on Sunday Mum and Dad had a party for my brother and th family to welcome them back home. There were 28 adults and 12 kids, and we all had a fab time. It was pretty exhausting though and my Dad and db made lovely speeches about family values. Cue a few sniffs! Hoping now that db is back, Mum will bring us up to speed on the state of play. I think she has been holding back some info [worried]

Anyway, need to go make B's packed lunch for holiday club tomorrow

Back soon xx

ScarletBandit · 04/08/2009 09:02

I am tired That is a yawning face not a shocked one!
Worked last night, got home just after seven but now need to stay up all day with the children. We will not be going far that's for sure! The weather is rubbish anyway so at least I don't feel guilty for staying at home with them all day.

SOL, I hope your mum is ok Hopefully you are worrying about nothing (a trait I have off to a fine art at times).

Dooby, hope things are ok with you x

SOL - good news about your BIL
Nothing to report here, T has been grumpy and wingey this evening, hoping he's tired

elkiedee · 04/08/2009 22:20

Hi all

SB, that sounds exhausting.

As expected, I didn't get a place on the BF helpers' course . I'd guessed since I'm sure successful applicants heard last week. There's another course coming up in the New Year and the email sent out a few days ago says those who don't get on in September will be "given priority" on that one - the woman who runs my baby group has told me that the nearby group of Children's Centres is funding that one too so it will be near here - there are 5 centres in the cluster between 5 and 25 minutes walk from home. So I'm hoping that works out, or even better, that someone who has been offered a Septembe rplace drops out before the course starts.

StealthPolarBear · 05/08/2009 10:35

Hope someone does drop out, if not sounds as though you should get on the Jan one. I know that won't suit you as well though

cazboldy · 05/08/2009 12:36

StealthPolarBear · 06/08/2009 13:18

well I've just realised I haven't packed my hospital bag yet so am crossing my legs for now

elkiedee · 06/08/2009 13:31

Hi crafty/nutty, will look forward to hearing from you or dh.

SPB, I left it until the last minute and then some to pack my hospital bag, though I'd got nappies and baby clothes ready for C. I hope the weather's less dramatic on the day your LO decides to make her/his entry to the world.

StealthPolarBear · 06/08/2009 13:44

Yes, I'm fairly organised (I think) clothes washed, nappies bought etc. Just worried that it isn't all in one place! At least this time I won't take the hundreds of things that were never taken out of the bag so it should be quicker!
