SOL,Hope your mum doing well.

runnyhabbit · 02/09/2009 12:38

Feeling much better since having chocolate Lol at my mum though - she said it probably helped that he's a bit chubby

CaptainDippy · 02/09/2009 21:24

LOL at chocolate "treatment" - always best I think

DD1 back to school tomorrow - eeeek!

Bramshott · 03/09/2009 09:55

Hope you and W are both okay now Runny - scary!

Back to school today - she was very overexcited (mostly down to having those shoes with dolls in which I swore blind she would never have !) so we'll just have to wait until she comes out to see how exhausted she is! The school playground was full of screaming toddlers who were complaining about (a) their big playmates going off to school, and (b) having to get up and dressed and out of the house, after 6 weeks of breakfast in their pajamas in front of the telly!

I'm taking N to work with me tomorrow - can't quite decide if it's a good idea but she's been on at me to go to a concert for ages, so I decided I'd take her tomorrow. Will let you know if it's nice, or the worst idea in the world!!

CaptainDippy · 03/09/2009 10:18

Hope it goes well Bramshott

K went back to school today - bit of a mix of emotions, but sure she'll be fine. She loves school. Such a geek (just like her mum )

ScarletBandit · 03/09/2009 10:24

Morning ladies.

Runny, glad W was ok, bless him.

Ds has gone off to school today and I can't believe he is going into year 2! It doesn't seem like long ago that I was taking him into the nursery when he was just three
Won't be long and I will be taking F there - now that is a scary thought.

I have been very busy already this morning. The washing is well underway, the beds are all changed and the bathroom is scrubbed. That's it for the day though I think, I need to lie down now after all my effort

CaptainDippy · 03/09/2009 10:50

Well done SB - I am proud of you

LadyStealthPolarBear · 03/09/2009 10:58

morning everyone
mmm I'm on the spatone - just about to try it so will let you know how much I enjoy it!

LadyStealthPolarBear · 03/09/2009 10:59

uuuuuurghhhhhhhhhhh
yes you can really taste the iron - why do they say that like it's a good thing??

LadyStealthPolarBear · 03/09/2009 11:02

OK it helps if you don't breathe while drinking
either that or it's all sunk to the bottom and I'm in for a shock

ScarletBandit · 03/09/2009 11:27

Lol SPB Hope you didn't get too much of a shock!!

CaptainDippy · 03/09/2009 11:48

Give it a shake Floridix is also fab for low iron levels. I was very anemic throughout all of my PGs. xx

LadyStealthPolarBear · 03/09/2009 12:18

It didn't seem to have suck tbh - seemed OK as long as I held my breath Have also had a tin of butter beans
I'm on the verge of anaemia so would rather do this than iron tablets

runnyhabbit · 03/09/2009 16:05

Well J really enjoyed his first day back and I swear he looks bogger since this morning[hm]

Hard to believe that W starts school next Sept..

They'll always be my babies though

LSPB - Floradix is much nicer than anything else. Can get from herbal shops, either liquid or tablets.

runnyhabbit · 03/09/2009 16:05

bogger

bigger

Doobydoo · 03/09/2009 16:32

Runny
DS1 started back today in 6th class...he is the youngest and I felt abit teary all day!You are right even when he is 60 and I am 90 he will always be my baby!
WE HAVE CHILD BENEFIT[WOOHOO]Hopefully now tax credits will speed up.
DP a socialist and has said he may even consider voting Tory[since our local Mp intervened...Tory with a moat]...DP was joking

Doobydoo · 03/09/2009 16:48

...Also,whilst tea in oven...
M and ds1 were fighting over ds1's toy yesterday and M said 'Actually it's mine.....I fink'
When I ask him where he thinks something is ...m says 'Probably,in my bed'...or wherever he thinks it is.
...and he says 'Isn't that a pip'...very seriously
Just thought I would let you know!

LadyStealthPolarBear · 03/09/2009 17:48

Glad you have your CB Dooby DH says isn't that a pip too
Thanks runny but have invested in two boxes of spatone now, so will grin and bear it.

Doobydoo · 03/09/2009 18:10

Ah yes I had spatone with M..Yum
With Child benefit we are Quids In...Well not really but it is a step in right direction

ScarletBandit · 03/09/2009 18:46

Thank goodness for that dooby! Really glad things are now moving in the right direction for you

Runny, F goes into school next April which is even more scary than September!! And you did make me laugh with bogger too, no idea why, just made me chuckle!

CaptainDippy · 03/09/2009 20:00

Isn't that a pip ..... hee hee ....

elkiedee · 03/09/2009 20:21

I must try Spatone if I ever get pg again - I ended up having a massive blood transfusion to combat iron deficiency after C was born, and it was only after that that I realised how ill I'd been with anaemia. Hope it works for you SPB.

elkiedee · 03/09/2009 20:22

RH, that must have been scary re W. Glad he's ok.

Sexonlegs · 03/09/2009 20:50

Evening ladies.

Runny, God how awfully frightening. Hope W is ok.

Dooby, so glad things seem to be falling in to place now for you - at last. Love the chat from M

Elkie, thinking of pg number 3???

SPB, hope you are ok.

So, how did the first day back to school go??

B was back today too, and it was as if she had never been away. V pleased it is like that; I used to dread school.

Well, I am still feeling pants. Dh has been away since Tuesday morning - back at about 11 tonight - so have been on my own. Feel bad, as I have been quite snappy with the girls We are supposed to be going away to Holland tomorrow for the weekend, but cannot face it. So need some time to relax.
