Hi ladies, I got home yesterday evening after a fab weekend. We had a really good and very busy time so everyone came home completely whacked! Thankfully ds has a couple more days before school starts to get over it. Weather was ok, but rainy on Sunday which was a bit rubbish, still managed a day out though.

CD, can't help with any of your clothing requests I am afraid. I have polos, but only with the logo of ds's school on which won't be much use to you!

Dooby, glad you are getting things sorted with the tax credits

Elkie, enjoy Ilkley

SOL, glad you had a good time in France. How is your mum doing now?

What has happened with TrinityRhino? I can see you all talking about something, but couldn't find a thread anywhere.

Have a good day ladies xx

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 10:41

Hi SB Glad you've had a good weekend!
TR's husband was killed in a road accident early last week

ScarletBandit · 01/09/2009 10:51

Oh my gosh, that is just awful

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 10:54

yes, my doesn't seem to cut it really but there's nothing else to say.

ScarletBandit · 01/09/2009 11:33

How are you SPB? Not long to go now!

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 11:54

Fine thanks, just sick of waiting and assume it's going to be late Ah well, should get off the computer and get some jobs done!

ScarletBandit · 01/09/2009 12:08

I need to get some jobs done too, have got a ton of washing. It amazes me that we were only away for a weekend and yet I have a mountain of washing to do!
To top it off the weather is not great for drying and I can't get in to use my tumble dryer which is in the garage. My dad locked the door with a seized up padlock over the weekend when I wasn't here, so dh needs to break it off when he gets home later!! Quite how he got the padlock to close is beyond me!

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 12:10

Oh no! That must have taken some strength
As you can tell I am still here...no willpower!

ScarletBandit · 01/09/2009 13:31

This place has a lure stronger than chocolate

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 14:33

still...here...
although I did drag myself away to do all my jobs so feeling fairly good about time wasting!

Doobydoo · 01/09/2009 15:02

SB...Your dad must be the HULK
Quick question from those with more than 1 rugrat...do you have 1 child benefit number for them or do they have one each?Strated thread and some one said one then I realised I should ask you lot.

Doobydoo · 01/09/2009 15:03

SB,Galad you had fab hols.
SPB I can't remember but was T late at being born??

ScarletBandit · 01/09/2009 15:52

Dooby, I think I only have one claim number and the dc's are both listed individually on any correspondence I get about the benefit. I will try and dig out an official letter and double check though

Doobydoo · 01/09/2009 16:05

Thanks SB,THAT makes sense really.Sort of how they did it in Ireland as well.

runnyhabbit · 01/09/2009 17:02

Afternoon all

Agree with SB about the tax credits - one reference number, but both full names & dob stated.

SB - glad you had nice time

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 17:28

Baby is 3/5 engaged
and I've found a local (ish) breastfeeding peer support course, sounds like they're desperate for people rather than the other way round so hopefully I won't have the problems elkie had, starts when baby will be a few weeks old

Sexonlegs · 01/09/2009 17:29

Hi loves

SB, glad you had a good time Mum is doing well thanks. She is off chemo for a bit, and will have a scan next month to see what's what.

Dooby, I echo RH and SB re the child benefit iirc.

Oooggs, glad you had a good holiday. Mevagissey eh. I went on a camping trip with my first ever boyfriend

Dippy, can't help either on the uniform front. B's stuff is navy blue.

Erm... brain emptied. Feel rough as hell; legs like jelly, sore throat, headache, and dh bloody away yet again until late Thursday night grrr Girls are driving me mad as well.

Sorry for whinge. xx

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 17:30

oh no SOL

CBEEBIES

LadyStealthPolarBear · 01/09/2009 17:31

or tv in general - i have no idea if it's too young for B??

Sexonlegs · 01/09/2009 17:41

They are having a disco in the sitting room! I bought a disco ball from Argos for about 15 quid for B's birthday in May. Has come in handy!

Gotta go; K crying her head off. Roll on bed time.

oooggs · 01/09/2009 19:33

dooby - your CB claim has a refence number but when a child is registered at birth he/she is given a CRN (child reference number) you may see this on your claim (one per child) this latsts until they are 16 and that same said number is then their National Insurance number!!!.

Full of useless info me

welcome back mj

CaptainDippy · 01/09/2009 19:57

Yey for bedtime!!

Although my older 2 are still chattering away .....

Northernlurker · 01/09/2009 20:11

Hi all

Back from our holiday and back to work today. We had a lovely time on Mull and felt refreshed and re-energised - still do even after a day at work followed by buying school stuff for dd1 - off to big school on Friday!

B very good all holiday (ok mostly good) but she bit one of the nursery staff today She has bitten dh once and M and R as well when she gets very excited if they are playing monsters etc. Am mortified but very pleased we stopped breastfeeding a couple of months ago!

Dooby - cannot believe what a disaster your claim is - hope it is sorted very soon.

Right - must go put B to bed.

LadyStealthPolarBear · 02/09/2009 08:38

MOrning all
Glad you had a good break NL.
Hope the biting thing sorts itself out - nursery are always very reassuring to me that most of them do it at one stage or another - hope yours were as reassuring.

runnyhabbit · 02/09/2009 10:55

Just as I hoping for chilled last day of hols sort of day, William fell down the stairs, this morning
Right from the top, to the bottom, bouncing like a ball. Took him to A&E, where he was right as rain (apart from bruise at the side of his nose)
I, otoh, still feel ever so slightly edgy.
