Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

MissJ I do leave my ittis poppered together because I don't really want to have to handle them wet anymore than necessary [lazy emoticon] but they don't seem any the worse for it and I take them apart to hang them up to dry. I leave the front open obviously so they flap around in the wash!
Can't believe they used the jumperoo once what are some people like! More money than sense my grandmother would say.

HKZ Jumperoos all round! I love those ebay purchases that are slightly unintended, guilt-free shopping. Sorry you are still feeling rough, sure it'll pass after another night's sleep. I couldn't have even stayed up as late as you managed let alone drunk too, I would be wiped.

Uni work all done - just a few bits to add to my dissertation and then I'll have my Masters, hoping for a distinction so need that last assignment to be good, am a bit worried as rushed the conclusion but hoping my 'writing style' (read lies more lies and propaganda) gets me through. Looking at doing a non-educational management qualification next to formalise what I've done as professional development whilst teaching. Problem with teaching stuff is it isn't certified usually so hard to explain to a different employer that you have had training.

I've got a manual tommee tippee somewhere - might give it a whirl now you've said it is good Ray I've never had it out of the box (was passed on from a friend) but I'd love to be able to express more quickly.

I don't miss smoking but I do miss the comoraderie of smokers. I was always a social smoker really apart from a year or so when I was travelling, couldn't afford to be anything but. Marlboro lights were my poison too. Oh the days of irresponsibility and hedonism. I look back wistfully but don't miss it a bit.

Tree hope your ebay person says yes to BIN -

LenniEd · 20/07/2009 20:44

at enormous post! You're okay Moose - I seem to have the same trait!

moosemama · 20/07/2009 21:00

Sparkle cake topping links were on the last thread (where the big babies ate the little ones ) on page 30 of 40.

I think the one you mean is this one. Unfortunately the seller isn't listing any similar ones at the moment, but they make them to order so it would be worth emailing them.

moosemama · 20/07/2009 21:09

MissJ Started weaning dd at exactly 26 weeks to the day, which for her was 6 months and 1 day old.

She has barely had the opportunity to eat much though, what with all the lurgis in the house. She has only had sweet potato, broccoli and cucumber so far.

Hoping to do better this week.

PatTheHammer · 20/07/2009 21:12

Woah, kust read mammoth posts from lenni and moose......you do chat ladies!

Successful day shopping moose, bet teachers will love the choccies. H&M sale is great isn't it, I kitted DD out with few bits. Baby boys stuff was a bit crap though so Z got nothing .

lenni Yay to uni work all finished!!. Distinction, eh? Bit of a boffin are you .
I finished last friday, but quite naughtily didn't go in because I felt a bit rough. So schools out till sept 1st! Kids down here (at my mums in sussex) don't finish till weds so its lovely and quiet around here in the day .
Congrats on Dylans teeth, you are so lucky if you get no biting, I had a particularly painful one the other day, actually cried some tears and was dubious about feeding for a while afterwards. Gave in though as like others have said it makes sense to keep doing it at the moment.

missJ £100 for a pair of baby jeans!!! They may be rich but these people are idiots! definitely keep a watch on their items, never know what you might pick up! I have a friend a bit like that who is always moaning that they have no money and yet always buying her DD absolutely everything. I am sure it ruins kids in a way......nice to say no every now and again. DH bought DD a big Handy Manny on saturday and I made him put it away until xmas as I don't like just 'giving' her expensive gifts like that for no good reason.......I'll get of my high horse now

Play area we wnet to today was lovely, quiet and clean so made a nice change. Zach really happy just crawling around in the baby and toddler area. Also took him on the big slide.....he loved it!
Had dinner at a nice pub and .......no kidding.......Zach ate everything he was offered. Including lemon, onion, garlic bread, fish and a whole piece of crusty bread .
LEMON.....I ask you! Only gave it to him for a laugh, to see what his face would do. He seemed to like it!
Do they have taste buds at 6 mths???

Oh, check you lot out with your Marlboro lights! Too high class for me. Fraid when I smoked (6 years ago) twas the chav fag of choice 'Lambert and Butler'. And I don't miss it one bit, even when pissed. Just woke up one new years day and said to DH 'I'm going to give up smoking' and I did, no relapses or anything. Not even DD's behaviour has left me wanting one at the end of the day!

qumps · 20/07/2009 21:32

Quick check into say hi. Stanley up at 430am for the day. Been at work too and then ds1 had almighty tantrum going to bed so completely done in.
Hope you are all ok and chat tomorrow.

treedelivery · 20/07/2009 21:51

2 thing have happened this evening...

...the lady said £25 for the jumperoo so I bit her hand off casually agreed and awaiting a confirmation email. Fingers crossed.

Harriet woke up starving so I made her some quinoa type baby poridge in the hopes of sleep, with ebm, and found something with legs in it! Have emailed the company.

treedelivery · 20/07/2009 21:52

Oh qumps, you must be floored!

LenniEd · 20/07/2009 21:53

Yay for jumperoo - boo to porridge - hope the company will be extra sorry for the waste of ebm. Evil evil to lose that.

treedelivery · 20/07/2009 21:54

Thats got to be worth a weekend at centre parcs no? As its EBM?

LenniEd · 20/07/2009 22:03

I wouldn't subject you to a weekend at center parcs at this time of year Tree far too much overstimulation. You need something much more relaxing after the whirlwind year you've had - a spa maybe!

PatTheHammer · 20/07/2009 22:04

Oh dear, qumps have a better night tonight I hope.

tree, bargain jumperoo. Less pleasing about bug in the porridge.....Eeek!

Lifetimes supply? You probably won't use it again though!

treedelivery · 20/07/2009 22:05

It was big too. Spa in....Bali?

LenniEd · 20/07/2009 22:09

Can you get about 20 tickets and we'll all come? Are there 20 of us??

treedelivery · 20/07/2009 22:15

Well, if there aren't I'll sell the spares and we can buy all the products the spa recommends with the procedes.

Evening all!

qumps am pleased dd is ok, Have you recovered from the shock?

tree what are these jumperoo thingys? crawly quinoa beasty sounds horrid!

DD has seemed ok today was a little sick, really tired though which is odd as she actually slept last night Ah, sleep my old friend, I thought our paths would never cross again!

Have pushed drop side cot right up against our bed so its a bit like a co-sleeper. She seemed to like it, but as a result of more sleep, am actually more knackered today. Why does that happen?

We weaned DD at 18 weeks because when it was time for her bottle feeds she was having 9oz and wanting more!

Really wanted to do BLW but have had to do mush because of early weaning. am introducing finger foods now. rusk does tend to turn into cement when mixed with baby spit!

Sorry if I've missed anything out, had a lot to catch up on and only half a brain

LenniEd · 20/07/2009 22:18

My toes just curled up involuntarily at your mention of a smear Dog. Ick, I wonder how much longer I have to go before I have to meet that fate.

With you on rusk cement Kitty.

The joys of being young Dog. Not too bad btw just not in favour of having anyone near my ladybits (DH excepted ) whilst not in labour or up the duff.

tree- it wasn't the plum one was it? (have a box in the cupboard)

Are these jumperoos really so good?
I would feel guilty putting him in it, he gets little enough attention as it is ...

kittypink · 20/07/2009 22:37

grr to them forgetting you dog. Smears not to bad, I have to have one every year as had surgery. Just try to relax. (as much as you can in that position!)
