June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Unable to sleep thought I'd see what had been going on and saw we were due a new thread. Hope this is OK?

i am sitting daisy, in fact i am lying down!
going to bed with little man (who is STILL nameless) soon, after bb

short list of names: charlie, joseph, noah, william

LackaDAISYcal · 08/07/2009 21:53

love love love love Noah

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 21:54

DHs brother is called Charlie, he is a wanker (hence us not using it - DHs GFs name. Noah really nice but sleb baby - Jonah instead?

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 21:55

bet you Holly wants William!

how about Frankie? (almost like Freddie but no cricket connection)

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 08/07/2009 22:01

I like Noah. But as a teenager I always wanted a cat called Noah, so it would seem wrong to give that name to a baby. It's a cat's name!

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 22:11

I wanted a baby called Silas, but I will be getting a cat instead (after Obe "retires" and I have Cobweb and Mustard Seed though)

Bumperslucious · 08/07/2009 22:13

Noah was on our list.

The TTC thing was a bit spur of the moment. Two of our friends got BFPs and we were like 'we might as well'

Anyway got trying last week but period came (sorry if TMI, though I thing we have gone waaay beyond that on here!) so will be starting again. A spring baby would be nice. Dunno, DD took 2 months, hopefully wont be longer than that, though of course you never know. Problem is the weekend I will probably be ovulating we are away for a family weekend staying in Uncle's living room with DD. We may have to disappear off in the car for a while, or to the beach...oo-er!

Natty, rest up FFS! Sorry about the nipples. Hope you manage to sort the latch out. Would highly recommend breast crawl for the perfect latch.

Sputnik · 08/07/2009 22:16

I love all those, but I have a special affection for Charlie as it was my Grandad's name
Took 1 hr 20 mins to get DS to sleep today. Now I'm off too.....

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 22:16

think of the sand bumper

DS1 was conceived in a tent in Dsis's garden, on the weekend of nephews christening (in a monastery), while I was on my first course of ADs! DH apparently can place each conception (we did used to have loads of sex, honest)

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 22:17

sorry sputnik, we have too (DH says his grandad would have liked me), but his brother just spoils it

Sputnik · 08/07/2009 22:18

I think 2-3 years is a good gap. Right, really off now.

HellHathNoFury · 09/07/2009 08:10

Good luck Bumper.

Anyone got any cures for little boys coming into bedrooms at 3am holding books and asking very quietly and sweetly if we will read them to him?

TheNatty · 09/07/2009 08:33

aww fury that is adorable

almost settled on a name, william keeps popping in my head when i look at him

Rialentless · 09/07/2009 08:53

natty

LittleMissNorty · 09/07/2009 08:59

Lovely name

I like Charlie as well. My cat is called Charlie, and my friends DS....and it suits them both!

Morning everyone

Rialentless · 09/07/2009 09:02

one of DS1s friends when he first started school was Charlie, and his little brother was Max - used to make me think of hose TV characters (was it an advert?)

Charlie/William/Fred all get used as nicknames in our family - is that odd? Oh, and Lucy! My parents have always done it (though they did stop with Charlie for a while after they met BIL!), and me and my sisters do too

LackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2009 09:03

Morning all.

William is lovely Natty. As is Charlie.

We are having the morning from hell with tired grumpy and poorly children. And I can't see straight. bumble was up ALL BLOODY NIGHT but is refusing sleep now. I managed to get DD back to bed though.

TheNatty · 09/07/2009 09:18

DH shouting at DC in the bath this morning lol..
baby is feeding like my boobs are going to run out or something.
he is very sicky tho, changed his and our sheets last night cos he keeps puking.

what are ppls plans for this weekend?

LackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2009 09:30

constant feeding is good Natty.....getting everything off to a good start; your milk will be in before you know it.

I think boys are more pukey than girls, based on my own three.

Household nonsense here this weekend.

Bumperslucious · 09/07/2009 09:31

Sorry for your morning and night daisy. Hope it gets better.

Fury would a stair gate help? I guess it would stop him coming in your room but wouldn't stop him waking up.

Natty William sounds lovely.

LackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2009 09:41

We have a gate on DD's door now (although it is redundant since we put her back in the cot!) as she was getting out of bed.

Sounds like fury's DS would just climb it though!! Maybe a custom made full door height one is the answer.....or a lock on the outside of the door

LittleMissNorty · 09/07/2009 09:46

Meant to say to Fairy that I have just changed my ADs (not to the same one as you though) and am also VERY tired to the point of falling asleep during the day. But my GP specifically said to take them in the morning....have no idea why, but need to change it to evening if this doesn't pass soon.

Bumper, good luck with TTC. Took me nearly 9 months first time and second time....mmmm.....don't even remember ttc....it just happened .....DH can't even remember having sex!!!!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 09/07/2009 09:54

natty, what good taste you have! Beware, boys called William do live up to their name (think Just William). Every one I know is gorgeous, but with a hint of badness!

My ds can scale stairgates. He holds onto the top rail, walks his feet up the vertical rails, mounts the top and twists his body over, commando style! We cannot do anything with him, there is no way of keeping him in his bedroom. He is a little bugger!

Hope it all goes well bumper and hope you have fun trying!

LackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2009 09:58

Norty, I think the theory of taking them in the morning is that you get maximum benefit, ie you aren't sleeping when they are starting to work.

However, I think that might only be relevant at the start of the course; once your system is at maximum therapeutic level and you are just keeping it topped up, then surely the time of day is irrelevant?

LackaDAISYcal · 09/07/2009 09:59

holly, I won't neeed your BGs, I'm getting some
