June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Unable to sleep thought I'd see what had been going on and saw we were due a new thread. Hope this is OK?

Blimey Natty get some rest girl

Ohforfoxsake · 08/07/2009 14:41

Adrenaline is a wonderful thing Natty

You know by now it is followed by that 'hit by a truck' feeling.

That was a lovely photo Natty. Good for you, you must feel like Super-Mom Can't wait to hear all the details

Ohforfoxsake · 08/07/2009 15:02

Completely changing the subject:

is it only me that thinks being able to buy eggs already hard-boiled in Waitrose is odd?

HellHathNoFury · 08/07/2009 15:10

I don't think it's odd... but very lazy! I can't think who would need them aside from catering companies..??

TheNatty · 08/07/2009 15:25

wuld be very useful for ermergancy picnic situations?

thomas has his teddy bears picnic tomorrw, i have to send him in with a healthy lunch.
i have nothing in the house....
ho hum

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 15:50

don't think I've ever had an emergency picnic situation (and I would buy ready made sandwiches/bakery sausage rolls if I did) How expensive were they foxy? and were they 100% guaranteed to be shell-free?

my job finding efforts are not going well. The manageer of the out of school club doesn't even know if they're opening during the holidays as they haven't enough kids booked in! when I worked there before I was on double shifts because we were full and short-staffed.

just waiting for DS1 then we're off to the park (I am avoiding housework/cooking. I feel a bit like I've been hit by a truck TBH)

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 08/07/2009 18:44

Take care Natty do you hear! Don't try to do it all!

Ria, sorry about the job hunting. And good luck.

Didn't go to the aquarium in the end, but Hyde Park and the Science Museum. Jamlet loved "the garden" in there, and burned off loads of energy climbing up and down the "treehouse" and played really nicelyt with the older children, posting beanbags down a big chute

congrats Natty , try not to overdo it

Bumperslucious · 08/07/2009 19:33

Don't do too much natty, hope DH is better soon, if only to help you out!

Um, we are TTC again

So on a completely different topic did you all get M&B test stuff again and not me? Not fair!

Sputnik · 08/07/2009 19:54

Like how you slipped that in there Bumper! Good luck
Fairy, how's things?

FrazzledFairyFay · 08/07/2009 20:15

I didn't get M&B test stuff either

Hi Sputnik - I'm ok, although constantly feeling knackered. Has anyone else taken fluoxetine (prozac)? The GP has told me that extreme tirednessis not a side effect but I've been feeling completely washed out ever since I started taking it - has anyone else experienced that?

FrazzledFairyFay · 08/07/2009 20:15

good luck Bumper

Sputnik · 08/07/2009 20:33

I'm not taking anything but bloody tired anyway!

Sputnik · 08/07/2009 20:34

Hope Daisy is ok, she hasn't been around today.

LackaDAISYcal · 08/07/2009 20:53

aw sputnik thanks for the concern! I'm fine. I went to Manc to meet some of my Nov chums and spent 3.5 hours getting home (it normally takes 45 minutes). Have just got all the monsters in bed and am sitting down with a hard earned glass of wine while I wait for the screeching/crying/whinging sounds to stop rattling around inside my head

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 08/07/2009 20:54

I'm on prozac Fairy. When I started I felt quite weird. Like the things that bothered me still bothered me, but I couldn't be arsed to react. It was a bit unsettling tbh, but it passed and I calmed down into a state of being able to cope with things that would previously have sent my into a right wobbly.

OP posts:
FrazzledFairyFay · 08/07/2009 20:55

Thanks Jammy, I'll persevere with it for a bit longer

LackaDAISYcal · 08/07/2009 21:10

I didn't notice any tiredness when I was on it fairy, but different people react differently don't they? and just because it isn't on the list of common side effects, doesn't mean it isn't happening iyswim. It may be something as simple as maybe you are having less disturbed sleep and that is making you more tired as your body adjusts to full sleep again? I know that if I've had a good night's sleep, I'm wiped out the next day!

I'll be seeing taillights in my sleep tonight!

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 21:12

I did take prozac for a while fairy. My GP at the time told me not to be alone for the first week. I remember feeling rough though, and then I changed onto something else.

bumper, and (not of the "business" aspect, just the excitement etc)

FrazzledFairyFay · 08/07/2009 21:13

Thanks Daisy. I can honestly say i feel more tired at the moment than when DS was tiny. I keep falling asleep on the sofa in the afternoon, while DS is napping, which is not normal for me.

TheNatty · 08/07/2009 21:18

goodluck bumper

well ive got to take it easy now, slipped on the rug and did the splits

DH refusing to let me off the sofa now

i have a very windy baby, i think we need to work on his latch has been very sore today with all the wind, farting and burping like a trooper.

nipples killing me already, damn my sensitive skin.

your day sounded hard daisy 3.5 hours bloody hell!

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 21:26

natty, shame you had to hurt yourself for him to feel so moved though.

DH had fun with his MPs, apparently he talked with a minister, but he doesn't know who. he said the buffet was crap though. they were very sympathetic to his troubles with the job centre, and a bit , but I don't suppose it'll change anything.

daisy, you're a better person than me. did you have all 3 DCs too?

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 21:29

baggins is glued to Torchwood

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 08/07/2009 21:32

I am also a bit Bumper.
