Thanks everyone, home now but a bit tired so will post properly later.

Reggiee · 27/02/2010 20:06

Lovely name 2H - and the correct spelling ;-)

Hope you and the boys in the house are enjoying getting to know her, and you are getting some rest. Presume all went well with the cs - try to take it easy.

Guess what?? You'll never guess....
No, I'm not pg - we actually moved into our loft room last night. 5 friggin months later! Hurrah!

2Happy · 28/02/2010 12:10

Back to typing one-handed with baby on my lap. ILs have got the boys today, so peace and quiet in the house. The cs went fine, though a little odd to be going in knowing that in just a few hours you'll have the baby. But very relaxed, and totally different to last time after 24hrs of pain, drugs and frustration. Thought someone was taking the p*ss when they said girl and kept insisting they showed me her genitals because I couldn't believe it! But I still keep referring to her as him out of habit . And in a weird way I feel a little sad for the boy I was convinced we were having since he had a name and everything but doesn't actually exist (hormones!).
She's a bit of a night owl and keeps cluster feeding at obnoxious o'clock, hoping she grows out of that in a hurry! I'll get some kip while the boys are out today.

Congrats Reg! Is it all totally finished now finally?

laughalot · 28/02/2010 14:40

Aaaaahhh 3happy fab what is her name and weight ?

Reggiee · 28/02/2010 21:00

Lal - she's got a lovely name. But I would say that (big clue).

3H - awwww hope you're enjoying the time alone to get to know her. Pmsl at checking her genitals . I'm sure she'll still like tractors .

Loft almost finished. We need lots of new furniture but that can wait (until I've got some money) and scaffolding still up as they need to finish off outside when the weather wamrs up a couple of degrees.

Lizzzombie · 01/03/2010 09:11

2Happy - Have you called her Reginald? or Regina? Unusual but could start a new trend I suppose! Looking forward to seeing photos.

We have had so many cute babies in at work this week, Pixi Photo were in taking portraits.
We have also had some downright chavvy nightmare ones too.

Hope you are enjoying your new loft Rgee, I dream about getting ours done. But have no idea where I will find the £20k which we've been quoted!

Actually, thats not strictly true. I'm thinking about applying to do a GTP teachers training course. Does anyone know anyone who has done one? (its where you earn as you learn type job, rather than going back to uni for a year).

Right, toaster has broken, need to go to Argos.
Its sunny here today - yay! Hoping the washing which has been on the line since Thursday morning will dry off now! xxx

Congratulations 2happy! Lovely name IMO too

Wow Pink! Great news! 17month gap is exhausting but lovely to see them so close when they are a bit older.

Hope everyone else is good. xxxxx

FOR SALE

One stroppy, moody bad tempered (but at last after 3 years of crap sleep she does sleep all night) 3 year old girl.

Used to love all foods now demands that she is hungry at least once every 10minutes (but really isnt hungry as she only wants crisps/sweets/biscuits) may eat her dinner depending on mood.

Likes to torment big sister and annoy any other person within 10m radius, occasionally can be cuddly and affectionate (normally if you are giving in on the sweets thing)

Comes with a huge wardrobe of clothes and lots of Peppa Pig accessories and a big sister who may wish to visit occasionally

Reggiee · 11/03/2010 20:42

Eah we definitely have a threenager with attitude too. Pmsl at her a lot of the time (perhaps not the best parenting skills going...). What is it with the food thing too? I think she has discovered 'treats'. So no, thanks for the offer, but I'll not take another one! B very cute stage atm though.

Hi Dragon . Long time no see - how are you?

Lizz our toaster has just broken. Which one did you get? Oh, and our dishwasher and microwave have broken too [annoyed emoticon]. On the plus side, the loft is finally finished and the scaffolding just came down today .

We have got an allotment!!!

Am so happy. As I'm fed up with our 5mx5m of concrete back yard. It took 2 years of waiting, but it came through, and from April 1st we will have 5 rods of allotment, with 2 green houses, (one needs to be taken down) and a big shed on it!

Its going to be fab, DJ can dig and make a mess to his hearts content without me barking at him that he is messing up my geranium pots!
And I can paint my shed all bright colours and pretend to be a hippy, and hang shells like a wind chime from it.
And grow stuff and get healthy and it will be all wonderful....and not at all like hard work!!!

Its just opposite the local catholic primary school, so my plan is to get DJ in there and then I can spend lots of my days gardening when he is at school....apart from when I have to work. Darn it. Work always gets in the way of things!

....why what did you think I'd be announcing!

Reggiee · 16/03/2010 19:45

Pmsl Lizz. You'd never be able to keep a pg secret .

Congrats on your allotment. I look forward to hearing about the birth of your new baby (carrots).

Whatyagonnagrow?

laughalot · 17/03/2010 12:07

That wilol be fab lizz however if you lurvvvvvvvv gardening iv got a huge garden and hate it so feel free to pop over to nottingham for a weekend .

Rgee do you watch one born every minute ? I swear that was you giving birth last night to a baby girl lol, eah text me to say gosh that lady looks like rgee and i text back to say god you have read my mind .

Hello to everyone else

eandh · 17/03/2010 19:29

it was rgee on that programme except she gave birth in southampton and it was a girl!! Your hubby was very good at being told what to do on the programme too

Lizz- how exciting I love going in the garden and pulling our veg up then washing and cooking it, last year there were some nights were almost all of our meal was from garden (except the meat!!) girls love helping (except Hattie eats all the cherry tomatos straight from the plant!)

Lizzzombie · 18/03/2010 07:03

Oooh, maybe Rgee has a doopleganger? Have you found out the name of this woman on the programme and googled her to check what you think Rgee?!

EAH - What kinds of veg do you grow? Our neighbour grew lots of kohl-rabi last year, which I'd never heard of before, but its lush (like a mini cabbage/turnipy thing) and I definately want some of those.
Also, have you seen the Dig It web site on the BBC? you get sent free seeds.
I think that DP is possibly underestimating the amount of work which needs doing on the patch, and I am not totally sure what to do with DJ whilst we get it under control. Woman who showed us round said she used to tether her
kids with a piece of rope!!! Can't see him going for that one.
I got him a little trowel in Matlan yesterday, very cute. And Asda has tons of gardening stuff in atm, very cheap. (am thinking of hiding lots of gnomes, just to freak out DP!)

eandh · 18/03/2010 08:04

Lizzzombie · 18/03/2010 14:27

Just managed a peek at OBEM (whilst dh nipped to get summat from the kitchen which gave me a small window of opportunity to turn the football off and switch the Sky+ recorder on). The verdict is her glasses and hair are similar . Twasn't me though!
