via Facebook messaging rgee no secret thread we havent told you about

Child free weekend in scotland sounds fab and glad work was okay

2Happy · 02/02/2010 14:41

The last January baby is 3 today (well last remaining one whose mother still posts, anyway), but he's being like the queen and had a birthday on sunday too because dh is working today. They certainly have the hang of the present thing by their third birthdays don't they?!

Southern meet up sounds fab - hope you have a good time. Bet Shimmer's shop is brilliant. PMSL eandh at letting dh sweat about the party!

Reg - the loft is still ongoing?! What are they doing, building it with sand?? And you're coming back to this neck of the woods! When? where?

eandh · 07/02/2010 09:42

Hi

2happy hope ds2 had a good birthday how long have you got left now?

Today is meet up day Hattie and I leaving around 10ish and told DH yesterday that Ellie's friends Mum is collecting her at 11.10 and taking her to party and he only has to go at 1.30 to collect her (they are off to IL's for sunday dinner then) have done her hair already as he'll never manage to do that and the Mum who is collecting her just going tgo check her over before they leave to make sure she has right clothes on (Ellie will try and persuade DH that she is allowed to wear some wacky combo!) and if necessary resort her hair

Lizzzombie · 10/02/2010 07:35

Hey everyone!

Sunday was lovely. Really nice to meet people in RL finally!
LTH came along too.
There was no biting or shoving which is always pleasant from my point of view. Hattie looked adorable. LTH's big boys kept an eye on all the little ones which meant I didn't have to go into the soft play climbing frame bit too many times - which is fabulous! (sorry, had to try it out!)

And baby Merry was extremely cute!

Hope you are all well xxx

Gosh this thread is dying of death isnt it. Not much been going on here i just seem busy all the while with school, college, football, work ect. I am glad of the half term break though. On the plus side i won a mumsnet prize the other day a £ 100 to spend on getting personal so a few nice bits on there. Must be something in the water with eandh rgee and me winning within a few months of one another. Getting ready for lauren to start nursery however she seems so little to be wearing a school uniform.

Wilkie is jj any better bless him and lol at l crusing round already.

Rgee how is the house now all finished ? Are you finding work hard with 2 kids ?

Lizz did you enjoy your meet up then ? Eandh had nice things to say about all of you. Never got chance to say but d cake looked fab.

Dragon where are you nowadays ? How are the kids ?

Pcf is half term driving you mad ?

Shimmer how are you getting on with 2 children and your lovely shop ?

2happy are you ready for baby yet ? Do you think the boys will help you lol.

Eandh not got alot to say i speak to you far to often lol.

vino where have you gone to how are the girls ?

Right im off byyyyeeeeee

Reggiee · 17/02/2010 20:06

Hi Lal. Congrats on winning and happy spending! I think UD recently won something too.

Yup the thread is dying .

Don't know if you'll read this Wilkie, but really pleased to hear JJ is better and out of hospital.

2H - good luck for the 25th. Can't wait to hear the news! I'll be thinking of you.

Hope you've all been surviving half term. Not long left now!

All well here. The kids are lovely . B is not moving yet following in P's footsteps! And the loft is not yet finished. Yawn.

Shimmer · 17/02/2010 21:56

Hi all. We can't let the thread die... Everyone post NOW!!!

Wilkie so sorry to hear about JJ! I hope he's on the mend now. Do you know what gave him such serious sickness?

All's good here. I'm pretty much knackered all the time... but happy Belle is getting pretty huge already. She's going to be big, like F, I think! She's only just 2 months but already well into 3-6 month clothes. She had first jabs today, which is never nice, and she screamed the place down... such a drama queen! Freddie never seemed to even notice when I took him for his .

F's been on half term this week too - it is quite an effort finding stuff for him to do all the time and he gets SOOOO bored and just wild if we're at home too much. Gavin's taking him to see Peppa Pig at shopping centre in Brighton tomorrow!! Bet it's going to be horrible and packed

eandh · 18/02/2010 06:48

Hello, cant type much as have Hattie hanging off me and need to get showered as we are off to visit my Nan today (and I am thankful its lkast day of half term for me as bac to work tomorrow they have driven me mad!)

Hope everyone ok and havent seen Vino in ages so hope youa re ok. Wilkie glad to hear JJ home and hope he is on mend

Right I need to shower bye!

Reggiee · 18/02/2010 09:14

Am hoping to catch up with Vino soon. Last time I saw her I drank too much and spent the night throwing up . Such a bad influence. It would be nice to catch up with Wilkie too - haven't heard from her for ages but think she's really busy with her new business which seems to be going well.

Lovely to hear from you Shimmer. Can't believe B is at the stage of jabs already .

I'm three weeks in to being back at work, and all is going fine on that front. B is now settled in nursery although has had every disease going. Building up his immunity and all that.

Just waiting in for the carpet fitter and a new pushchair this morning.

Oh and happy birthday UD if you're lurking.

2Happy · 19/02/2010 20:59

Hmm, think I may need to enter a MN competition then!! Congrats on the win, Lal

Glad the meet up went well, Lizz

Reg - how come the loft still isn't finished (or is it best just not to ask!!)

Wilkie - hope JJ feels better soon

Good idea, Shimmer, let OH suffer Peppa Pig!!!

EandH - hope work is a calm relief after half term!?!

I'm huge and tired and generally had enough. Obstetrician offered to sterilise me during c/s, maybe I should have taken her up on the offer

another1ontheway · 22/02/2010 14:30
Grin
Reggiee · 22/02/2010 19:22

Ohhhhhhh... congratulations !!!!!

A guessing game - marvellous.

Lizz - is it you?

I need a clue. Not many people post anymore - EaH, Lal, Shimmer, PCF, Dragon - I don't think it's any of you......

Unless....2H...is another1onitsway (are you in labour?)...

eandh · 22/02/2010 19:28

well it is def not me and better not be laughalot as she couldnt keep a secret from me! so I think

Lizz
Possible LTH (unlikely though)
Vino?

Rank outsider guesses would be
Shimmer
Dragon hart
Wilkie

Oooooo come back and reveal yourself or give us some clues

2Happy · 22/02/2010 20:08

What me, go into spontaneous labour??? You're having a larf! Definitely not me. Hmmmmm, tempted to guess at Lizz too. Very exciting!

Reggiee · 22/02/2010 20:14

Not Shimmer - she's just had one. And it would be fast work for Wilkie after having L. Not heard from LTH for agggeess. What about UD - is she still about? Poss Dragon - would she go for 4 dc? Don't think it's Vino.

So....back to Lizz again...

Yeah - come back and give a clue.

How are you doing 2H? You all packed and ready?

eandh · 22/02/2010 20:19

have text lizz and ud and ud said she hasnt been on thread recently. Am sure DH said she was stoppng at 3 and agree shimmer its too soon although could be Wilkie as L is 7 months but think she is too busy with her new work role. So again back to Lizz (am desperatley trying to think of any clues she may have given when I saw her the other week)

2Happy · 22/02/2010 20:27

Semi-packed, Reg. All the baby stuff's ready, but I don't quite have enough maternity clothes to be able to pack too early (half of them have disintegrated after 3 pregnancies, and I can't justify buying any more!!). A day of housework awaits tomorrow, and then I think that'll be that. Must remember to charge phone/camera... And write a list of things for dh to buy for my return (booze, pate, goat's cheese...nom nom!)

Come on, another1

another1ontheway · 22/02/2010 21:13

I have 3 already, one not that long ago, same time as reggiee
Sure you can guess now lol. Feel a bit naughty as we're keeping it secret til 12 weeks so nothing on facebook etc but I am too excited. Not telling others til scan though.
Due in October so early days. Kind of a 'lets see how nature takes it course' baby and happened straight away lol.
Will have 17 month age gap eeeeek.

Hope you're all ok and good luck with the birth 2happy

Reggiee · 22/02/2010 21:40

PCF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!!

(and a bit )

Reggiee · 22/02/2010 21:45

I think DH would rather poke his eyes out than have another PCF. Am a bit .

Good luck 2H if I don't 'talk' to you before C-Day. I will harrass you by text instead. No time to enjoy your newborn - you will be too busy being harrassed .

Nice to see a bit of movement on this thread .

eandh · 23/02/2010 06:21

wow congratulations how exciting and fab double good news for you then (read about dh job on fb)

Lizzzombie · 23/02/2010 07:54

Congratulations to PCF! Are you going to find out what flavour it is? xxx

rgee - just have to say quickly love that you spent the night throwing up after last seeing Vino! Thought it was just me that did that!

Def no babies at my end, but you'll all be the first to know if it ever happens!

OP posts:
2Happy · 23/02/2010 12:07

congratulations PCF, fantastic news Hope you're feeling well so far x

Lizz - we clearly are all hankering after you having another one, even if you're not

Reg - thanks m'dear, though will no doubt be online a bit in the next couple of days as a distraction...getting nervous now...

laughalot · 23/02/2010 20:39

Pcf laughalot faints ...... congrats

Good luck 2happy

Wilkiepedia · 24/02/2010 07:54

PCF - f*cking hell!!!!!! Congratulations. I can catagorically state I will not be having any more but very pleased for you. You'll have your own football team soon ;)

2H - I hope C sections all goes well. Is it tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't been on for so long. I DO facebook so I get to keep up with news on there but work is going fantastically well. Am absolutely manically busy which is brilliant but am exhausted

The casting side has taken off brilliantly and the fingerprint jewellery is going really well too. I am looking for fingerprint agents who will just take the prints for me at £5 a print. You then send back to me for me to make jewellery. If anyone interested please let me know. There is no outlay, I will show you how to do it and give you the stuff to do it with.

Thank you for best wishes re JJ. It was scary and he was sick 38 times in total over 5 days. But back to normal now though although a skinny bean.

Leo is cruising all around the house, walking round with his walker. THAT is more exhausting than anything as he just grabs everything so I have to make sure things are out of the way! I forgot this bit!!!!!!

Anyway, sorry for lack of personals, I do check in on FB and will make more of an effort to come on here.
