just checking in on my for sale thread, honest guv

Norty, it's not worth it, I think I stood up for myself well enough! and a half decent sleep and a bit of perspective has made me feel a bit about my mini flounce! I'm going to stay away from the scary outer world of MN for a bit and just check in on PN...and for sale.

but, busy busy busy today so I'll be back, but probably not today!

Glad you got some sleep! and that you're not totally flouncing. I only come on this PN thread these days. I don't even keep up with my Feb lot any more. MN isn't what it used to be.

We're off out to meet RL friends and littlies today . DS is in his second outfit of the day and have packed him 3 changes. He's currently in his swing with a muslin round his neck to catch any puke!

Have good days everyone

Rialentless · 05/05/2009 10:02

daisy. glad you're staying with us though we'll look after you.

My Mnet time might be limited too - DH at home. (If he Wiis I will Mnet though)

my dentist appt got cancelled, so off to the shop and then I don't know what else.

have a good day everyone

BTW, DH came in last night and said I looked "smart" (in my old-lady PJs with the tear) or at least "different", so maybe it is worth the effort after all

back later!

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 10:21

Daisy I read that thread, it seemed to me that most people thought you were in the right, don't worry about it

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/05/2009 12:17

Glad you're still with us Daisy Without you this thread falls apart and then where would we be?

My Head of Dept just came in to discuss a paper I've written with me, just as I was finishing the last mouthful of sandwich and checking in on MN. Good job it wasn't a bumsex thread

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 14:31

erm... was the risk of catching you on a bumsex thread high then jammy?
I neer knew ....

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 14:31

*never

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 15:37

I'm bored. Is anyone there? I want to play.

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 16:03

tch, never mind! I have found the AIBU threads. HOURS of entertainment!

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 18:28

foxy sooo... shooting outside your house!
Was it on the news? Were you shitting yourself? Is crime common for your area? (Although the answer is no if my knowledge of London is correct...)
There was a shooting outside my hotel in Argentina when I was there. I about shat my pants.

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 20:05

I am talking to myself.
Any advice here?

Ohforfoxsake · 05/05/2009 20:07

I don't want to talk about it Fury.

What did you do today? G'wan, tell us.

(did you see what I did there? )

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 20:18

What did I do today?
Hmmm...
had an amazingly delicious burger with a beautiful lady and a gorgeous cute and well behaved 2 year old.
Did some celeb spotting, put the world to rights and drank a milkshake (a bit random, usually mine's a white wine).

You?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/05/2009 20:21

So which celebs did you see?

OMG I just did the Davina DVD for the 1st time in 3 weeks. It was hard work!

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 20:23

Saw Davina last time I was there.

Today it was food critic Jay Rayner, some Corrie actress, and Gok Wan shopping with Lorraine Kelly. They went into House of Fraser.

Gok had the most perfectly coiffed hair I have ever seen... but then I suppose in his line of work he can't go out looking like a troll.

Ohforfoxsake · 05/05/2009 20:24

Went to a meeting where I made a lot of valuable and important contributions affecting over 1,500 people. From there I spent some time in the company of a well-known food critic and a well-loved actress.

Then I had lunch with a witty, clever and lovely lady whilst my 2 year old ate my chips. I briefly met my stylist and his friend out shopping, but couldn't stop as I stank of garlic from my chip-dip.

Ohforfoxsake · 05/05/2009 20:26

HA! You followed them!

You also pissed on my bonfire there. I was trying to be soooo glamorous

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 20:27

roffle

disregard my post, what Foxy said

Ohforfoxsake · 05/05/2009 20:32

Gok would look like a troll without his hair gel though One of those '70s one with orange hair.

Am watching him now - knee high boots for those of us with chunky calves. very useful/.

HellHathNoFury · 05/05/2009 20:34

Oh chunky calves my arse. You should be in the stilettos

Ohforfoxsake · 05/05/2009 20:36

That's my £12 M&S jeans you know! They rock, and are waist-high. Very trimming

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/05/2009 20:42

I love my £12 M&S jeans too.

Feels weird that it's Wednesday tomorrow (and hence I'm not at work) after just one day in the office. And I'm day off next Monday too

Rialentless · 05/05/2009 21:18

I am relieved it's Wednesday tomorrow.

lunch sounds nice. DH and I drove up to the woods we walked in yesterday after we'd been to town, and sat in the car in the rain with the window down listening to the birds and smelling the wild garlic. Oh , and we had a sandwich from Tesco.

And now DH has gone to work. Despite the hotel now being closed for refurb and staffless, he has gone to cook dinner for the building contractors, and in the morning has to cook a working breakast for them too. ANd I was really looking forward to not being on my own tonight. The boy shave been challenging

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/05/2009 21:34

Sorry you've been abandonned Ria.

I've started a style thread asking for advice about 2 weddings we're going to (yes the wedding count has doubled!) so help please!!

Rialentless · 06/05/2009 08:21

morning

been up since silly o'clock, got baggins to eat masses of porridge, done the dishes, just waiting to go to school now. I bet we'll still be late

miserable grey day here
