Have you lucky PG ladies got this healthy eating in pg grant?

I'm sure Daisy linked it ages ago, but I saw it in the paper, and on a thread here.

HellHathNoFury · 06/04/2009 20:26

I have to be a fat cripple for 5 more weeks yet

I am going to bed. Bored, and I was up half the night.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/04/2009 20:27

FFS! I bought salami and low-fat salami. Though I'd have the low-fat and DH could have the regular. On closer inspection the regular is 28 calories per slice, the low-fat 47, and the regular has lower % fat than the regular! And DH refuses to eat the "low-fat" one as he thinks low-fat versions are rank

HellHathNoFury · 06/04/2009 20:29

Jammy... why did you tell him?
Gawd I never tell DH what I am serving up, he gets what he is given.

He can keep his pretty little head out of the kitchen where it doesn't belong

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/04/2009 20:31

He saw the packs and was the one who bothered to read the labels!

HellHathNoFury · 06/04/2009 20:33

I think you should forbid him from entering the kitchen. Husbands, children and dogs are not welcome. It is my domain.
As is everywhere else. DS has the garden, DH has the shed, and the dog has his crate.

HellHathNoFury · 06/04/2009 20:34

Right off to bed. Teach me to be awake half the night.

TALLULAHBELLE · 06/04/2009 20:35

You're all heart Fury.

Don't have your e mail addy but am intriged. Do I have you on F/B? I rarely use it so not sure & can't remember anyone's R/L names.

HellHathNoFury · 06/04/2009 20:38

Daisy/Foxy
Please can you give TB my email?
Don't like to post on here. Or give me hers?

Will send you an email tomorrow if I get it

LackaDAISYcal · 06/04/2009 20:45

Cheers Daisy. Am on it.

Finally all quiet here - touch wood. Cept for the munch of crisps & glug glug of wine . My mum appeared at the door at 6:30 to help with the witching hour/s. She is taking DD all day tomorrow too returning her at bedtime. She's too good to me really. Must get her a big bunch of flowers tomorrow.

Sputnik · 06/04/2009 21:24

Glad you have someone around with your DH away. Mine is often away for a week or so these days, and that is bad enough.

LittleMissNorty · 06/04/2009 21:29

Evening

Your mum sounds great Tallulah!

Hi Sputnik....no effects from the earthquake then? Sounded like it was quite a strong one.

LackaDAISYcal · 06/04/2009 21:31

Dh has got some trips away planned with work soon; I'm dreading them.

bumble has been horrible today, clingy and whingey and crying all the time. He slept for over an hour earlier and woke up all sweetness and light and just laughed and cooed and smiled and was charming for DH when he came home...bloody typical isn't it? Poor DS1 and DD only got frozen burgers and chips for tea as I couldn't cook the paella that I'd planned to.

I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Your mum is a star tallulah. I really miss having family close by. We have DHs but it's not the same really.

LittleMissNorty · 06/04/2009 21:34

I'm sure it will be better Daisy.....having had a child being just like that for the last 2 days, I have every sympathy with you...however, today has been slightly better.

TALLULAHBELLE · 06/04/2009 21:45

She is a star & I am an ungrateful wretch of a daughter at times.

Sure tomorrow will be better Daisy.

I am just wondering how I will manage the morning routine by myself. Usually I feed DT's in bed whilst DH deals with DD1. Then DT's & I doze a bit until DH brings in the tea & toast & I watch the Wright Stuff whilst DD1 bounces all over the bed & DH changes the nappies & clears up the brekkie things. Ulp. Different story tomorrow. I guess I haven't been appreciating DH much either.

sticker books sounds like a good idea. or dvd player and kids films for your room? means sacrificing the wright stuff tho
will be thinking of you, must be hard on yyour own so soon, but im sure you will establish a routine that works for you!

LackaDAISYcal · 06/04/2009 22:11

oh, i like what you have done with your name butterfly....very clever

stickerbooks are lifesavers here too. DD is indiscriminate with surfaces and reading books vs drawing books at the minute....but she always seems to be able to find a pen

tallulah, I'm sure you're not an ungrateful wretch........but with 18 months between a toddler and twins you are allowed to be a bit off balance.

Tbelle

for the puking

glad you're OK sputnik.

Hi and bye everyone - off for a bath, the kids have been buggers to get to bed tonight (must be cos DH is here), back in a bit

TALLULAHBELLE · 06/04/2009 22:17

DD loves to scribble draw, she has crayons & coloured pencils but I'm not brave enough for felt pens. Is aquadraw like etch-a-sketch? (T shows her age).Haven't tried sticker books. Must visit pound shop when get the chance.

aquadraw

We've got the big thomas one that's third on that list. It seems to have come on a bit sonce DS was littler.

.....and as an aside, I'm pretty sure that the boy in that pic is trace's DS.

Like those magic pictures you used to get in colouring books? Where you dipped paintbrush in water & washed over & colour appeared. Really showing my age now, should just shut up before start going on about inkwells & nibs.
