Clock change really messed sleeping up here.
J not been going to Justin's because he was kicking and screaming but we're making progress and I might stand slim chance of night off some time this year!
J keeps getting dodgy tummy and the dirty nappies cause him skin irritation so bad he screams and screams until showered.
M doing well, his 'wife' of the last 3 years is emigrating to Oz after Easter so I'm preparing for the fallout when he finally comprehends this means never seeing her again
Started actively looking for a job with less hours and closer to home. Will be applying for admin job at M's school when it comes up even though I think it's probably not for me. Decided that my work/life balance needs adjusting. Combined with the changes at work now not looking likely til June (Ange/Pesha - should make sense to you!), and the stressful nature of work at the mo, I think I need to get into doing a less involved job for the sake of all our sanity!
J has now left Nursery. Been feeling less comfortable with it over last year but more so in last 6 months. He can go to the Preschool at 2 and as that coincided with Easter Hols I took the plunge and he finished on Friday. Starts at Big Boy School after hols . He's really excited, almost as excited as he is about his "light-keen" nappies - had a money off voucher for pull-ups and they were reduced already so bought some for J to wear, they have Lightening McQueen from Cars on the front took me quite a while to work out he wasn't telling me his nappies were light green
As the name may tell you - I have dyed my hair. Decided that this summer instead of dying my hair brown to try and hide the ginger tones I'd give up and dye it red instead. Still not sure but think I'll get used to it. Now I need to get it cut again, want to go back to the short cut I had last year.
Back to Papworth on Thursday for assessment after being on meds for 3 months. Going well still and am optimistic. Had a few days where I needed maximum dose but then just had a few where I either took minimum or none at all.
Have missed you all sooooooooo much, changing hours after Easter and plan to make catching up with you guys my lunchtime activity
ps.... still think the new MN styleee is pretty dire!
