Today it's Happy Birthday to Evelyn and Hensden's LO.

My bath was fab this morning and Dh got up with G so I got up at 845. Bliss! Already planning another as I had to clean everything in the bathroom before this morning's ablutions.

G is much more himself today, but still very tired. Put him down for a sleep at 1215 and he's still asleep. He did bite me just before his nap which is usually a sign he's shattered.

Going to buy paint and flooring for bathroom this afternoon. Conforming to all bank holiday sytereotypes.

My mam arrives tonight and my bro and his dp arrive tomorrow. Will be lovely to have them here.

Eddas, meant to say, is there anyone else within the firm you work for now that could provide you with a reference? I have worked for the same unit for years and I used my boss plus one of my senior colleagues as referees. Just a thought

Eddas, was it you who was helping to run a local preschool? - if it was and there's someone you worked well with, they might be a good personal referee, although again, CD's suggestion of a family doctor might be a good idea. If I'm remembering it wrong, sorry.

Afternoon ladies. Just popping on whilst DS2 is sleeping and DS1 is glued to citv! Happy birthday to all the April 07s, I can't believe they are 2 already either - it's gone so much more quickly than for DS1. We're not sure what else we are doing this Easter weekend, nothing too hectic though which is nice. Then we are having a party for Austen next Sat when more of his little friends are here.

Generally all well here, pg progressing well and we've found out it's a GIRL! I'm so excited. Still no work for DH and we're all getting used to him being at home. It's going to be an awful shock when he does finally get a job.

Hello all

Happy birthday to all the weekend babies!

We've had a fab day. G had some lovely gifts and was very excited from waking this morning.

The weather has been soooo nice and sunny We had a barbecue this afternoon with my mam, bro and his dp, 2 friends from Leeds and their gorgeous ds (1.1). The food was good, the sun shone and the boys had great fun playing in the garden. When those guests left late this afternoon, we skyped the ILs so G could have a chat and see his cousin Eva and aunty and uncle who are up in Northumberland for the weekend.

Then our friends who live nearby popped in after a theatre outing to see Lazytown. Their 2 boys (4 and 6) had an egg hunt in the garden with G, then some birthday cake and a bit of a play. G has just gone to bed a happy but totally exhausted birthday boy

6 hours of NCT class yesterday passed faster than expected and dh coped really well with a lot of medical talk in the morning. He only left the room once when we talked about caesareans.

I woke this morning to find my bump much lower and a lot more pressure on my lower regions. My money is still on baby arriving in April

We have. It was/is dh's birthday, so a joint celebration. My mum and dad came over for the day which is always special. Yesterday we went on a day trip to the Isle of Wight whih was great fun. We went with a friend and his 2 dd's and went cycling.

B is off to her other grandparents tomorrow for 4 nights. Going to miss her, and I know B will do too

Anyway, need some chocolate, so se you tomorrow. xx

GM - I won't say anything. It's not personal to me. I really haven't participated much in the threads and have no intention of doing so if they're all odd and cliquey before they've even given birth!
